Carla is always on the move. She travels solo and documents her travels online while waitressing part of the year to fund her lifestyle. She keeps herself constantly moving and occupied so she doesn't have to put down any roots or make any commitments. When she lands in Ireland to attend her best friend's wedding Carla meets the best man and finds an instant spark. She's determined to keep things casual but it's clear that there's more to her and Eamon than just a fling. As Eamon and Carla start their drive to the wedding they keep getting sidetracked with various adventures.

I've read the other books in this series and this one didn't disappoint. Off the Map had a steamy start with quite a few spicy scenes throughout that evolves into a sweet romance. I liked that Carla and Eamon pushed the other out of their own comfort zone. They got into several misadventures as they drive to the wedding and their romance grows. I loved Carla's character growth throughout the book as she comes to terms with her father's failing health and her feelings for Eamon. There's a lot of self reflection and learning that happens over the course of the book for her. I liked the romance between the main characters and enjoyed characters from previous books in the series being the bride and groom. I'd recommend this series to any romance novel lover!

After reading the first two in the series, I was very excited to read Off the Map and it didn’t disappoint!

I absolutely loved getting to know Carla and Eamon in this book, they are both really great characters that I was rooting for from the get go. I love how the author develops her characters and really enjoy her writing style as well- she writes in a way that you feel like you actually know the characters.
I really enjoyed getting to revisit Anna and Keane as well.

Such a cute, quick read! Thank you Netgalley for the advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review.

I liked it! The only thing that bugged me was how the author linked back to the previous books. Usually when there’s a series, they’ll have former characters comeback, which is great. Typically though, they at least give you a quick recap of their stories. This one brought Keane physically into a scene mentioning the prosthesis he was going to need to surf, but with no explanation why he had it. Overall though, I thought it was really cute, and now I need to go back and read the other two books in the series!

Carla is aware that the maid of honor sleeping with the best man is a cliche, but when Eamon Sullivan, brother of the groom and best man, shows up to drive her to the wedding their attraction is instant. Instead of heading straight to the wedding, Carla and Eamon take their time traveling through Ireland. Along the way they share more of their lives with each other and run into a sangria loving bull. However, Carla is hesitant to commit to a relationship because of her father's dementia diagnosis and Eamon is contemplating a huge life change.

Both Carla and Eamon have wonderful character arcs that allow them to grow as individuals before ending up together. By the end of the book you have no doubt that their relationship will last and thrive. This novel also deals with loss of a parent and care taking in empathetic ways.

I was so excited to receive a hard copy of this arc! I loved Dollar’s first two Beck Sisters books. Even though this is #3 in the series, it could be a stand-alone. Off The Map follows Anna’s friend, Carla, who has used her life to travel the world – camping. This lifestyle was inspired by her single dad, Biggie, who is battling dementia. These scenes hit home as I visit my husband’s 98-year-old grandmother who has dementia every week. Carla travels to Ireland for Anna’s wedding and falls for Eamon, the best man, as soon as she meets him, but wont commit because of her lifestyle and it is just a fling, right? He lives in Ireland, has a steady job, an apartment etc and she lives in Florida, a bartender when she is not traveling. I loved the characters and wanted to be friends with every single one of them. The insta-love is not usually my go to, I prefer the chase and the banter before they know it’ll go somewhere. This was a fun, quick read that totally felt like a Hallmark movie set in Ireland.

Off the Map begins with Carla, who's traveled the world for over a decade, going to Ireland to be maid-of-honor at her best friend's wedding. The groom's brother, Eamon, picks Carla up at the airport. A quick fling develops and Carla and Eamon take off on a meandering weekend road trip up to the wedding.

Unfortunately this story did not resonate with me. I felt no connection with the characters or the story. I'm a seasoned world traveler accustomed to getting by on the barest of essentials and living nomadically, but I still felt like the story and characters lacked depth. There's a lot of critique I could write about this but I think it might simply come down to the writing not being impactful enough to make me believe in this story.

It felt very much "this happened and then this happened and he did that and then that." A lot of telling without much showing, with a dash of unrealistic plot. I don't understand why these two characters who just met each other ditched the bride and groom (her best friend and his brother, respectively) to go adventure with each other for "just sex," in Carla's words. I could have believed this, maybe, if we were shown the interaction and dialogue and chemistry between these two characters in the single day they've known each other, but we aren't.

This is an honest review in exchange for an advanced copy.

Carla Black is no stranger to traveling solo, to anywhere in the world. So, flying to Ireland to be in her bestie’s wedding is just another opportunity for adventure. The Best Man, Eamon Sullivan, doesn’t share her wanderlust. He prefers to stay on a tight schedule, a little closer to home. Like today. He’s driving to Dublin where he has arranged to pick up Carla at a center city pub, and then they’ll make the short return trip to Tralee. Except this is Ireland and Carla is amazing. Two things are certain: the drive to Tralee will not be short, and Eamon’s life will never be the same. This romance, travelogue, testimonial to family values is such a fun read. From the opening pub scene to the sweet happily ever after, Eamon and Carla do not disappoint. This one is definitely on my read-again list!

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC of this book.

A wonderful escape to beautiful Ireland. This book follows Carla Black, friend of Anna Beck and Rachel Beck from the first two Beck Sisters books (Float Plan and The Suite Spot). Just like the first two books, the author does a wonderful job capturing the beauty of the setting of the story and makes the reader love the characters.

Carla's adventures in Ireland are full of laughter and some deep emotions. A great read for anyone who enjoyed the first two books in the series.

Carla is a doer, a traveler, a basic, independent, badass women. On a holiday to Ireland to be Anna's Maid of Honor, she meets Eamon. He makes her question the restrictions she's placed on herself and her life. We follow the couple through Ireland and their adventures. When she heads home to America, will they find their way back to one another?

This was a quick, spicy read and I enjoyed it immensely. This was my least favorite of the Beck Sisters' stories, but it was definitely a fun ride. However, I cried for the last 50 pages. Carla's emotion journey was intense and heartbreaking at the end, but so, so worth it!!

Trish Doller at her finest and now I really, really, want to visit Ireland. The cover was great and I did a LOT of vicarious living through Carla. A wonderful read!

Carla Black is a woman who is only in one place to fund her adventures. For the last decade she has been traveling the world in her vintage Jeep Wrangler that her dad gave her. She doesn’t stay in one place for long, and she does not go home.

Her best friend is getting married in Ireland and her future brother-in-law, Eamon, is scheduled to pick up Carla at the airport. Eamon is a man who is a digital cartographer by day and traveling dreamer at night.

Carla and Eamon hit it off immediately and have mind blowing sex her first night in Ireland. Post-coital they talk about his dreams and she convinces him to travel Ireland with her before they have to be at the wedding.

During their travels through Ireland, they get closer and feelings start conflicting Carla’s idea of a traveling fling.

I really enjoyed this book! I didn’t realize it is the 3rd is the series, the Beck Sisters series, but it can be read as a standalone. Thank goodness, you didn’t feel like you were missing out on anything by not having read the first two.

Carla is a character everyone can relate to – she is terrified of going home due to a loved one being ill, and has severe wanderlust. She is living so many women’s dreams of traveling the world alone. And just being able to travel in general!

Eamon is also a super relatable character! He has a great paying job but just wants to quit and go travel the world. Eamon has the stability that Carla craves, and Carla has the freedom that Eamon craves. I just loved him so much! Thoughtful, ready to talk about his feelings, and apparently great in the sack.

This book is not really a romance, yes, they are two people who fall in love, quite fast if I may add, but it really isn’t about their love story, in fact Eamon disappears for quite a chunk after Carla decides goes back home.
It really is about love and lost, and the lengths some people will go to shelter their hearts when you have been hurt, specially parents and the long path to healing.

This was the first book in the series that I read and I will now be going back to read the others! As someone who loves to travel, I was immediately drawn into this book and had a great time reading it. This book brings readers into the adventure and keeps us there with spicy moments and a beautiful relationship that develops as they explore. I didn't expect to shed tears but I did. Highly recommend!

This was a cute, quick women’s fiction/romance. I enjoyed the relationship between the main couple and the exploration of their external family concerns.

I fear that I’m a little too Type A/not enough of an outdoorsy person to fully enjoy this book. I spent the first half of the book anxious that they weren’t going to make the wedding due to their various detours. Although I didn’t connect with certain elements, I’m still glad to have read this one.

I read Float Plan for the first time bot long ago and was thrilled to see this semi sequel up for grabs. If you loved Float Plan, give this one a try! You get new characters and beloved friends from book 1.

This was a great addition to Trish's catalog. I enjoyed her earlier books, and this one as well. It was a fun read with characters that I liked and felt invested in.

The Irish setting and love of travel in a romance novel had me entirely sold on reading this book, but the journey (literally) in reading this book invoked emotions and left me in tears. This sweet and serious romance is one for those who have wanderlust in their heart and perhaps are in need of inspiration.

I received a free advanced review copy of this book and am offering my honest opinion voluntarily.

I ADORED Float Plan - and while I liked The Suite Spot it wasn't quite what Float Plan was to me. However, I am delighted to report that Off the Map really hit the spot for me and I can't wait for more stories from Trish!

This story follows another side character from Float Plan, Carla, who is on her way to Anna's wedding in Ireland and takes a few detours before finally getting to the wedding.

As a fellow person raised by a single dad who was very Biggie-like, this book was a lot of laughs, smiles and tears.

HIGHLY recommend to fans of Float Plan!

4.5 out of 5 stars!
I LOVED this, from start to finish. I got a copy from NetGalley and was completely unaware it was the third in a series: the plotting and character development make it easy enough to dive right in and not need the other books (although I'll definitely be going back for more).
This is a story full of tropes: Best Man / Maid of Honor, Shutting someone out as a device to get them apart, whirlwind get away romances. Yet, all of them really work. I was completely enthralled by the story of Eamon and Carla, and I would love to see them again in another book. Plus, the romance was just the RIGHT level of steamy: definitely erotic, but not over the top, and the language wasn't silly.
One 'negative' I've heard is that the lovers jump into bed a little too quickly: I personally really liked this. There was a point in my life where I could have been that reckless, and its a little thrilling to watch someone else play it out instead. Not everything has to be a slow burn: sometimes you just KNOW. Carla and Eamon just knew.
Highly recommend. Nothing deep, nothing earth shattering, but a great cozy globe-trotting romance!
