Thank you NetGalley and Deep Six Publishing, Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA), Members' Titles for accepting my request to read and review All Those Except Those, An Anecdotal Autobiography.

A fun read. I love when I don't know something and stand corrected. I can pronounce anecdotal, I had to look the definition up I'm guessing the first chapter. Anecdotal: Not necessarily true or reliable, because based on personal accounts rather than facts or research. Well, well, well -- I'm not certain I knew anything.

This is a fun, smart read. While the genre is History & Politics, it really is more about experiences with people and places befitting Oshins' life and occupations. The stories and memories shared made me laugh out loud so many times. He was a witty man.

I would have purchased this for my father, and a couple past employers that I had. It's simple enough to keep on an end table, read a few pages with a coffee or a drink, have a chuckle, and pick back up another day. I thoroughly enjoyed this.

There is a simple truth behind this book - our humour reveals so much about ourselves and our society. Through humorous anecdotes and perspectives, a social history is revealed just as much as an autobiographical account. It’s well written and very entertaining - highly recommended to people who like to laugh and are interested in the era covered.
