Such a good beginning of the bool details. Its nice for its storyline genre. The writer worked hard from reading it.
What a very engaging and unusual premise, I loved the creativity of Io and her being an entity that resides within the core of her sun. There were occasions when she felt a little too human. Whilst I don't appreciate it when an author overemphasises an idea it would have felt more authentic had Io initially been a little awkward in her new body and role.
Both Io and Tohva were likeable, well-rounded characters. They are complex individuals, each of whom has their separate motives driving their actions and decisions. The pace of the story was good and the author has a very pleasant writing style. For some reason, this one just didn't draw me in as much as previous books I've read by the author, though I couldn't pinpoint anything specific, so it could well "just be me".
I look forward to reading more work by this author.
