Another brutally honest, heartbreaking and at times funny look at Tara's ongoing journey of self-discovery and self-care. I feel so seen when I read her work! Keep it up, T$!!
I squealed with delighted when I received a digital ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my opinion because I had been waiting for Schuster's second book ever since I closed her first phenomenal self-care hit "Buy Yourself the F*cking Lillies". Her collection of essays related to healing your soul does exactly that-- she teaches you through relating her personal experiences as to the various things you can do to not only heal with the things we've come to affectionately call "tro-mah" (money woes, childbearing concerns, parent/child relationships, work environment), but to also glow like the confident shooting stars that our author believes that her readers can be. I felt the love and healing as I read these pages, and much like its predecessor "Lillies", I'll be buying a copy to put on my shelf to refer to over and over again.
I am already telling people about this book. I can't believe I have to wait so long to actually purchase a copy to reread and write in! Tara (and I said it the "right" way in my head) has done it again. In fact, when I get my copy, it's going right next to Glennon on my shelf. Wow. There aren't enough words to express how healing this book was for me. I read it at the perfect time for me and know it will resonate with so many others. Bravo!
