Another one I could not put down and devoured in one sitting. I absolutely recommend this book. Be ready for an afternoon or evening of completely neglecting any chores as this one will have you hooked within the first chapter.

An epic and unique story of many kinds of love.

I'm not sure I would call this a romance, although it is a love story. It's very different from other historical romance. It was enjoyable looking into this time period. However, I had a hard time liking the characters. It's very slow moving and covers many years. Also, I'm not a huge fan of first person POV. Overall though it's an enjoyable read if you're in the mood for something that is almost more like a saga than a historical romance.

A really nice surprise!

As a fan of historical fiction, this one did rather well in my books.

The writer wove a good story, with strong descriptions that easily bubbled up the characters and scenes the author was trying to convey. I highly recommend a read if you like captivating novels!

I love historical fiction and this was no exception. Well written with a compelling storyline, well developed characters and rich imagery and vivid descriptions throughout the book. Really enjoyable,
