When I began this book I thought I had already read it so I put it down. Turns out that it is a different story but a lot of similarities. If you enjoy the character, Stephanie Plum and all the madcap characters that are her friends and family you will enjoy this book.
It was a fun read.

The worst bounty hunter is back and better than ever!!

I love my trips to Trenton and Stephanie is one of my favorites. How much trouble could a game piece from an old board game cause? Well if your Stephanie more than she can handle, when Stephanie gets to the bonds office and there is no donuts or Connie things go side ways quickly. With Lula redecorating the office, Vinnie off on some less than up and up business, and Bella making a special appearance as Stephanie's ride along partner the laughs don't stop. This is a MUST read for any Janet Evanovich fan.

I love Janet Evanovich books and Stephanie Plum is one of my favorite characters. On this Monday, Stephanie Plum knows that something is wrong when she turns up for work at Vinnie’s Bail Bonds to find that longtime office manager Connie Rosolli hasn’t shown up. Stephanie’s worst fears are confirmed when she gets a call from Connie’s abductor. He says he will only release her in exchange for a mysterious coin that a recently murdered man left as collateral for his bail. Unfortunately, this coin is nowhere to be found. The quest to discover the coin and save Connie will require the help of Stephanie’s Grandma Mazur, her best pal Lula, her boyfriend Morelli, and hunky security expert Ranger. As they get closer to discovering the reasons behind Connie’s kidnapping, Connie’s captor grows more threatening and soon Stephanie has no choice but follow her instincts and find Connie. It is always great to catch up with the wonderful characters that Evanovich provides.

#netgalleyarc This book restored my faith in the series. It follows “the recipe” of all the other Stephanie Plum books but found a way to do it better and funnier than the most recent ones. This book makes me want the series to continue on for a little bit longer, but hopefully the author doesn’t over do it and finds a good spot to end the series.

One morning, Connie Rosolli didn’t make it into work. Her car was found at Pino’s, but no one knows what happened to her. With Vinnie in Las Vegas, it’s up to Stephanie and Lula to run the office. Soon, the two receive a phone call demanding a specific knights templar coin that was used by a client for bond collateral. In return, the kidnapper will return Connie to them. The specific coin has a code on it that has the access info to a large sum of money. There’s a problem, however. The client is back in possession of the coin and he and his friends used up t most of the funds. Can Stephanie Plum and her friends, Lula, Ranger, and Morelli figure out to get the kidnapper off their backs. Will they be able to save Connie?

As all Plum books go, this book is filled with humor, hijinks, failed FTA recoveries, plenty of eaten donuts, cars getting bombed, and plenty of temptations from Ranger and Morelli. The characters are engaging and hilarious. The plot is well-written and gut-busting funny. It was also extremely fun to see Bella, the eye-giving grandma, in a different, more interesting light. Fans of Stephanie Plum, humor, mystery, and adventure will want to pick this one up. Although you can read this one out of order from the rest of the series, you’ll find yourself wanting to go back and read the rest.

I've read many books by Janet Evanovich and have enjoyed them all. This one was no different. Fast paced, and easy to follow along with characters I've come to know and love. Her books grab you and keep you wanting to read more. I highly recommend this book.

I didn’t love this installment of Stephanie Plum’s adventures. It felt like the characters personalities weren’t coming through as much as in earlier books, and the plot didn’t offer much that we haven’t already seen numerous times in earlier books.

Thanks go to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This was may favorite Stephanie Plum adventure to date! Stephanie went on another wild and dangerous adventure that will keep the reader engaged and turning the page. While most Janet Evanovich books follow the same format, they usually have enough twists and turns to keep the story interesting. This book was no exception. Highly recommend!

When Connie, the bail bonds office manager, is kidnapped it’s up to Stephanie and Lula to rescue her. Add all the regulars—Morelli, Ranger, Grandma, and Bella as well as a couple weird bond jumpers and you’ve got nonstop craziness. And, OMG, just picture them trying to arrest Morelli’s grandma Bella for skipping her court date!

Ok, I have to say I liked this book much more than the last few. The plot was a little more subdued and Stephanie and Lula seem to have matured just a tad. Still lots of laugh out loud scenes and Burg craziness that are series trademarks.

Thanks to NetGalley and Edelweiss for an early copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Stephanie Plum is back in action for her 29th adventure. This time, office manager Connie is kidnapped and Stephanie must do whatever it takes to get her back. Fans of her reading will enjoy the addition of Nonna Bella to the usual entourage of Grandma Mazur and Lula. And of course there is the usual back and forth with boyfriend Morelli and Stephanie's sometimes lover Ranger. No big surprises, but more of the adventure and danger that is Stephanie's life as a bounty hunter.

Going Rogue (Rise and Shine Twenty-Nine) is the 29th book in the Stephanie Plum series from Janet Evanovich.

"It's late on a Monday morning and Connie hasn't made it to the Vincent Plum Bail Bonds office. She's always early and brings fresh doughnuts (including Boston Cremes) from the bakery. No one can find her. Stephanie also finds the stroreroom ransacked. A call comes in demanding a trade - a coin used as collateral for Connie. But Vinnie lost it. Now Stephanie and Lula must use every trick they have to to get Connie back.
And avoid the Eye from Grandma Bella..."

This is a different Stephanie in the last couple of books. She's more self-assured, even if she struggles at times to pick between Ranger and Morelli. She's not afraid of Bella anymore. But she still can't keep from getting her car blown up. She might even set a record on how much stuff gets blown up in this book.

As usual, there's more going on in the Burg and Stephanie stumbles onto trafficking and a sweatshop. But Ranger and Morelli have her back.

Evanovich has no mercy for the Brad character in this book. He does give Grandma Mazur a thrill when he answers the door but later he gets a special tattoo on his forehead.

More insane characters and crazy antics from Evanovich. Another great Plum adventure.

Janet is back on track with this one. Stephanie Plum s at it again.. This one was a lot of fun. It had it all , Grandma, Morelli, Lula, funerals, exploding cars, Vinnie, Ranger, Pino's, naked FTA's, dinner at the Plum's, Bob and Rex. The gang's all here. Morelli's Grandma Bella features for some great laughs. Did not disappoint.

Going Rogue we find Stephanie Plum once again chasing bad guys, dating and flirting with good guys and in the path of danger left and right. This is accomplished with the wonderful wit and humor only Janet Evanovich can provide.

Loved the action, humor, romance and danger. Another stellar success for this author.

Thank you Net galley for this ARC

This one was not as funny as previous titles. It was slow moving at times. Enjoyed that Bella had many appearances. Hopefully she will become an added partner to help Stephanie get her skips.

The Plum series is my yearly fix for a rom com ish fiction that has a bit of everything. Some romance, some mystery, with laughter mixed in. Nothing over the top but just a good read that I look forward to each year. This series would make the perfect tv series, please and thank you.

The always enjoyable exploits of Bail Bond Enforcer Stephanie Plum, which includes the usual cast including, Connie, Lulu, Grandma Mazur, her family, Morelli and Ranger. Very quick read, somewhat predictable, but satisfying just the same.

I appreciate NetGalley and Atria Books for allowing me to read an advanced copy of Going Rogue in exchange for an honest review. I LOVED it! Stephanie Plum (and all her friends) are back. Connie has been kidnapped and the gang has to figure out who did it and how to get her back. Of course she, Lula, and Grandma do it while all sorts of unexpected things happen to them. There are a few bail skips to find and some help from Morelli and Ranger, too.

4 stars

If you’ve read one Stephanie Plum novel you’ve read them all. Very cookie cutter, and familiar as we are all used to. However, still just as laugh out loud as ever. I will never get enough of Grandma Mazur (she kinda needs her own spin off imo).

This next novel in the Stephanie Plum the bails bond hunter was okay. There were some funny scenes. More importantly Morelli's grandma Bella is in it more and her personality expanded on beside "the eye'". Thanks to NetGalley for the advanced copy. #NetGalley #GoingRogue
