Connie is being held captive and will be exchanged for a coin that was left for collateral. The plot is to find the coin, and save Connie. . Look, this is the 29th Stephanie Plum book. If it's your first book, you won't be disappointed. If it's your 29th numbered book (not counting the holidays), then you know exactly what you should expect. It will meet all your expectations.

Lately, I've been missing Grandma Mazur, so I was very happy when she grabbed her .45 and accompanied Stephanie in her adventures, one of which involves Morelli's grandma, Bella, as an FTA 😈👀! This book has everyone (except Diesel, but we should really only see him once every 15 books or so).

There's mayhem, gunshots, cannoli. It's basically like the 28 other books, which is how this series should be.

Going Rogue is Janet Evanovich and Stephanie Plum at their best! I really enjoyed this latest novel in the series! It is like coming home and spending time with all of the beloved characters we have come to know and love. The plot was enjoyable, and I always love when Stephanie spends some time with Ranger. It was entertaining, fast paced, and funny! I read it in a day because I couldn't put it down. With this 29th book, the series is still going strong, and I can't wait for the next one! Thank you to NetGalley and Atria Books for the ARC!

Stephanie, Lula, and Grandma are up to their usual shenanigans. Add in Moreli, Bella, and Ranger and you can’t go wrong. I may be very bias, but I love this series and look forward to the next one.

Thank you Netgalley and publishers for the eARC. #Netgalley #GoingRogue

Janet Evanovich brings us another installment in the Stephanie Plum series. When office manager Connie doesn't show up to work, it causes problems for Stephanie and Lula when they can't get into the office and they don't get their daily dose of donuts. Turns out that her boss has something someone wants and they took Connie to add pressure to Stephanie to find it for them. Now it is up to Stephanie and her gang of friends to find the coin and get Connie back. What adventures will they get into this time? Will her life get any more complicated with her relationships with Ranger and Joe?

Janet Evanovich brings us another chapter in Stephanie's life. We get to go with her as she goes about her business trying to apprehend people while she juggles her relationships with Joe and Ranger. We get to watch her interact with her family, laugh with them, and go on adventures alongside her. It is like dropping by and visiting old friends and catch up with them. I look forward to seeing what Stephanie gets into next.

I read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I would like to thank NetGalley and Atria Books for this privilege.

Stephanie is as ready as she can be to start her day at work when she arrives at Vinnie’s Bail Bonds and it is locked up tight and Connie, the office manager, is nowhere to be found. The truth is discovered when they receive a call from the kidnapper. They will let Connie go if-and-when a coin used for collateral is returned. The coin is no longer at the bail bonds office and it is now up to Stephanie and her friends to discover where the coin went and return it to Connie’s captor. Why is this coin so important? How will Stephanie and her friends get out of this situation?

Going Rogue is the twenty-ninth Stephanie Plum book and it was a fun and easy escape. The overall story is only slightly different from past escapades, yet it is still enjoyable. Stephanie is just as accident prone and the bad guys aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed either. Although there are a lot of repeats, Evanovich has still created an entertaining story that left me feeling lighthearted and pleased.

Going Rogue by Janet Evanovich is the latest Stephanie Plum tale and I find it as interesting and fun as the first. The author never fails to deliver a fun story with crazy criminals and wacky relatives. I always look forward to the new Plum saga.

This is maybe one of my favorite Stephanie Plum novels. The entire vibe was elevated, and I do enjoy Ranger having a significant space in the story lol.

Not the strongest volume in the series, but still fun. This Plum adventure deals with a missing collectible coin and the related kidnapping of Connie. Connie is saved halfway through the novel, which messes with the pacing a bit, and reasonable explanations for why more folks aren't involved in finding and saving Connie aren't think on the ground (her oft-mentioned mob connections are never even mentioned!). Stephanie is back to trying to decide between a dalliance with Ranger and a steady relationship with Morelli. This feels like it has been done before and, this many books in, seems a bit silly and pointless. If Evanovich wants to continue with this will-they/won't-they tension it might be time to invent a third option (although please don't let it be Dickie Orr)

Stephanie’s adventures are hilarious as always. More of the same, but if you love other Plum books, you’ll love this one, too.

Thank you to NetGalley and Atria for the ARC.

The saying "back where you belong" kept running through my head as I read #GoingRouge. The humorous escapades of Stephanie, Lulu, and Grandma Mazur as they attempt to locate Vinnie's Bail Bonds kidnapped office manager Connie Rosolli are vintage #JanetEvanovich. Morelli and Ranger weave in and out as Stephanie questions where her life is at currently and what she might want going forward. Early readers of this series will be especially pleased with this addition. Thanks #NetGalley!

Stephanie Plum is back in action! Going Rogue is the 29th book is the series and I have read each one. Stephanie and her co=worker, sidekick Lula come to work on a Monday morning to find Connie, the office manager in the bail bonds office where they work, missing.

In this book we get to know Morelli's grandmother Bella much better as she rides along with Stephanie a couple days. Grandma Mazur is also a constant in the book and helps Stephanie with the local Trenton gossip. Ranger is also present in her life, but not her bed since she has been in a relationship with Morelli during the last few books.

There are the requisite explosions and destroyed cars (always makes me think about insurance costs) but also a little more soul searching on Stephanie's part. I've wondered how long she could go between 2 guys and in this book she actually thinks about whether either of them are marriage material and also how she actually feels about her job. I appreciated this!

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for this honest review.

What I love about this series is the characters and the humor. Scary situations happen, but the main character takes it in stride. This edition of the series was better than the last few. It kept me guessing, and I enjoyed that not everything terrible was happening to Stephanie Plum. Less predictable and more entertaining. I really enjoyed it!

Stephanie Plum is back in a new adventure from Janet Evanovich. As fans of the series know, Stephanie's life is always a bit chaotic. This time her coworker and friend, Connie, has gone missing. Worse yet, Vinnie is out of town and it is up to Stephanie to try and solve the case. Lula is in fine form as she takes over as office manager in Connie's absence. Grandma Mazur is there to help, of course, and even Joe's grandmother, Bella, is pulled into the mix. Like other books in the series, there is plenty of laughable moments, a couple totaled cars, and plenty of stops for lunch. While the romantic pull between Morelli and Ranger is always in the background, the romance takes a back seat for the most part in favor of the mystery. As a reader who has pretty much burned out on the whole 'who will she pick' situation, I was glad to see that the romance was not in the forefront.

Overall, I really liked the story. It is fun and fast paced. I was engaged the entire time, and really involved in the who's and why's of the missing Connie and the slew of characters Stephanie meets along the way. I felt it was a solid addition to the story and was glad to wrap myself in the laughs and comforts of another Stephanie Plum book.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC and the opportunity to read and review Going Rogue by Janet Evanovich.

There’s nothing better to put you in a good mood than reading a Stephanie Plum novel. Between laughing out loud at the antics of Lula and Grandma, Stephanie’s ability to wreck yet another new car in unique circumstances, crazy plots, and of course, Ranger, you’re in for lighthearted reading treat. May this series never end!

Stephanie and Lula show up at the bond office one morning to find the ever reliable Connie missing, and even worse for Lula, there’s no donuts to be had. The rest is a wild ride of fun.

Stephanie is back for another adventure. This time she is less worried about bond enforcement and more worried about saving a friend's life. Luckily, her skills have improved and Joe and Ranger still have her back. Pure fun.

The series continues as entertaining as ever. Stephanie is a great character, and the author has once again created a great story frame in which her adventures are guaranteed to keep the reader reading.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an e ARC of this book.
Took awhile to get into this one but was the plot took one on a ride. I like the new recovery agent better but Stephanie is still fun. Almost reads like a YA except for sex and murder.
