This was a fast read. It shows how one incident can change your life. Both George and Brea find out they could be different people. The hero and the heroine try to fight their attraction.

The plot was well developed. I couldn’t put down until I finished it. I can’t wait for Leslie North’s next book.

Brea and George gave me a warm read for Christmas. Both had things to deal with and yet came thru the other side

Considering this is a Leslie North novel, I was disappointed with this one. I think I’ll stick with her sheiks.

Brea is driving home for Christmas when a freak snowstorm sees her run off the road. Desperate to seek shelter she heads to a nearby house, where she meets famous billionaire playboy George, who is in hiding after a failed assassination attempt earlier that night.

Brea is pretty negative in her interactions with George, having already made up her mind about him and the type of life he leads. Eventually, though, they open up to each other about their respective families.

This was a very slow read, despite the entire story taking place over the course of 12 hours or so. The idea is cute, two strangers meeting, and a single night changing their lives forever. Sadly, it fell a bit flat for me.

There are so many unanswered questions. Why did George cut off all contact with his parents, despite them being nice people? Who tried to kill him? Were they caught? Brought to justice? The emotions were not well developed, and the chemistry was not that realistic. Seriously, Brea is not the one-night stand kind of person, yet she willingly goes to bed with a man who a) treats women as disposable, and b) doesn’t even use protection.

Loved this book! Time just left me when I started it. Read it in one session.

Would definitely recommend this book. And I'm heading over to amazon to see what else this author has to offer. I love her writing style

This story left me a little confused, to be honest. I loved the first half. Average girl headed home (to her dysfunctional family) for the holidays gets stuck on the road during a blizzard and ends up spending the night in a cozy cabin with a jaded (and misunderstood) playboy billionaire. Sexy times ensue. Hallmark Christmas special material, and that's not a complaint.

The second half--maybe more the last quarter, actually--read as if it was written in a rush, perhaps not even by the same person. So many of the personal issues that Brea and George talked through during their night together were pretty much dropped, ignored, or resolved in a sentence or two. Even the teaser of some suspense fizzles out. I so much loved the intensity of the first half (got a little teary, and I rarely do that) that the last part felt like a slap in the face. I'd really like to see the author go back and finish the story properly.

I received an ARC of this book for free from the publisher and Netgalley. I'm writing this review voluntarily and it reflects my honest opinion. Thanks!

I really loved how this book was a nice quick read and was centered around just a couple of days. Brea is on her way home for Christmas during a blizzard when she gets stuck in the ditch. She comes across billionaire George Clark's cabin that he just so happens to be hiding out at. After a bit of a rough start, they eventually warmed up to each other (in more ways than one!) They ended up confiding in each other because they never thought they'd see each other again, so why not? Once morning comes and Brea departs, they can't stop thinking about their dreamlike night.

Yes, they fell for each other quickly and as much as I liked that it really focused around those few days, I felt like there were too many loose ends that didn't get tied up. Who was the guy that shot at George? What was in the bushes at the cabin? What happened at his family's Christmas? It would have been nice to see how that all played out.

Overall I enjoyed it, and wouldn't mind reading more by Leslie North.

Thanks Netgalley and Relay Publishing for the e-ARC!

This book is a one sit/quick read type of christmas break novella that's so lovely and hot! Had I didn't have any college stuffs to worked on, I could really finish it in one sit. Though I don't really buy the instant-attraction type of couple but I really love how the story develops from the misjudgment between the grumpy billionaire who's trying to be a good host and a damsel in snowy distress trying to be civil to each other dissolve into an honest talk about each other's family and hurts. It's a winter fairy tale story that'll gives you smiles and relaxing you as you follow this story. Overall rate: 3.5/5

Maybe it’s because I’ve just never had it, but I’m not keen on these “love at first sight” things. It doesn’t sit with me – how can you look at someone and think “that’s the one for me.” ?

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had lust at first sight – good looking guy I wouldn’t mind jumping on. But to think that someone is that attractive I must know everything and I must be with this person after only knowing them for a day.

But anyway, moving on…

I enjoyed the story. It was cute. I do feel like it could’ve been a little longer – maybe talk about the shooting a bit more; who did it? We’re they brought to justice? And perhaps Christmas with his family… I think that would’ve been cute. See how that interaction went after not seeing George for five years and he suddenly turns up, with a girl too!

Based on other billionaire stories, this was rather tame. We had a little into his mind, and one semi-sexy scene. I say that because that’s how it was. It didn’t heat me up, but did the job in knowing what they were doing. More descriptive writing would’ve been good, I guess.

And I think a little on protection too. Brea went from “not a one night girl” to stripping off and forgetting about sexual safety? he’s been with his fair share (and half the male populations fair share by the sounds of it) of ladies, so I do believe Brea would’ve been like “do you mind wrapping up first.”

All in all, cute story. But would I go off and buy it? Probably not. Would I read anything else in the series? Maybe. But I’m not running to Kindle to find the rest.

Brea is heading home to her family for Christmas when a snowstorm worsens and her car gets stuck. With no cell signal, she is forced to find a nearby house to call for help. She is able to make it to a cabin occupied by George, a playboy billionaire who is in seclusion after an attempt on his life.

To hide his instant attraction to Brea, George is particularly grumpy. That is, until they get to know each other a bit better.

They part ways the next day. Will they encounter each other again or will that need a Christmas miracle?

This short festive romance was a quick and easy read.
The story follows George, an infamous playboy billionaire who escaped to a rural cabin after narrowingly escaping with his life and Brea, a down-on-her-luck barista whose car ends up running off the road on Christmas Eve.
A chance encounter between the two lead to a whirlwind 24-hour romance that neither expected.
George is notably isolated, showing loneliness and an obsession with working and being a successful business man meant he prioritised that over meaningful relationships.
Brea is constantly put down by her highly successful parents about not marrying her ex-fiance and not having a similar career that they achieved. She was on her way home for the first time in a year due to her parents pretending she did not exist because of her broken engagement.
Although the two don't get on with each other initially, they soon break through each other's barriers and open up to one another.
I found Leslie North created the beginning of a meaningful relationship between the two in a very short period of time.
If you're looking for a short and spicy festive read, then this is the novella for you.

This was a fun little holiday fairy tale of a novella and it was fun and festive and sexy- I could have used a little more depth learning about both characters and a little more plot to get to the end, but still a great snow bunny winter break diversion!

Snowed in with the Billionaire
Rating: 4 stars
Thank you to the publisher for the ARC given through NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

I really enjoyed this novella. I especially like it because it takes place during Christmas and you get to see Brea and George come to terms with how to deal with each of their families. They found each other when they needed each other and though because it's a novella you can see them truly fall in love in a short period of time.

Very cute. A very snowy 24 hours sees Brea and George get to know each other. We see cantankerous George and fiery Brea develop feelings and we see hoe they open up and thaw a little. Some good dialogue, a supportive sister and a very lovely dog make this a good one to read.

Snowed in with the Billionaire by Leslie North is a cute short holiday book. Brea gets stranded in a snowstorm and luckily her car gets stuck near a house that belongs to George. Both are unhappy with the circumstances and frustrated by the other. Quickly they realize they are stuck together until someone can come to help her with her car the next day. Honestly, this is an okay book, it’s good for a holiday afternoon read. It felt like it was over as soon as I truly got into the book. Since the book was so short there was only one true sex scene and it was lackluster in my opinion, it is more of a romance book than erotica. I wish I could leave a longer and more in-depth review, but I truly don’t have much to say about the book.

Brea Nelson is driving to her parents house for the holidays when some car trouble and snowstorm leaves her no choice but to search for help.

Thanks to a little fate, she lands on the door of handsome billionaire George Clark. George has been in the media lately and for all the wrong reasons and this time, it has him hiding away in his family cabin. The last thing he wants or needs right now is company, but that's exactly what he gets when Brea arrives at his door, practically frozen to death.

What I liked:

Brea was an average girl who, like me, dread holidays with the family because it's just an opportunity to sit in a room and get insulted.

The Hero, George, was super sweet (not at first) but his grumpiness was overshadowed by his kind actions towards Brea as she took refuge in his cabin.

Brandy, the heroine's sister, was the sweetest person and I hope she has her own novel in the future!

What I disliked:

Brea's mother was a total bitch. I greatly disliked her character.

Brea's father literally had one line in the whole book.

Overall, it was extremely weird to read a holiday book in August, but I really enjoyed this story!

This is my first time reading a book by this author and I look forward to reading more!

For fans of a short, neatly wrapped up romance, this is a perfect quick Christmas read. Brea, the FMC, finds herself in forced proximity with (you guessed it!) the grumpy billionaire George, who slowly starts to open up due to the connection he quickly feels to Brea.

The story has dual perspective chapters and a great setting — a secluded cabin in a snowy wood — but overall reads very much so like self-satisfying fanfiction. There’s a lot going on, from the main characters’ issues with their families (his is great but he cut ties because they didn’t fit with his vision of a massive moneymaker — huh?!) and Brea’s emotionally abusive drunk mother, to a former fiancé that’s randomly at the family Christmas dinner, to a failed assassination attempt that conveniently placed George at the cabin.

The spice factor is perhaps a 3/5. It’s a short book, so there’s only one real sex scene, but it’s a fairly vanilla, shy inexperienced female / male controlled scene. It’s not bad, but it’s nothing I’d personally blush at.

Overall, it’s a cute Christmas fairytale to lose yourself in for an hour or two, but lackluster and forgettable. Thanks to NetGalley for allowing me to read this in exchange for an honest review.

Strangers who meet in my favourite season of the year? Yes please, sign me up! This book was a no brainer loved it because it features getting snowed in (yay winter!), billionaire playboys (oh so dreamy!), and two strangers falling in love (whoop romance!). My insides were gooey and mushy after reading this book!

Their chemistry was off the charts smoking hot and I really enjoyed their banter. It made them funny, relatable, and characters you can instantly fall in love with. This is definitely a book I will be curling up on the couch to read at least two more times during the winter season!

I liked reading, Snowed in with the Billionaire. The only thing that kept me from loving it was George complaining about how poor his family growing up but then also telling us that the cabin he is staying at is his family cabin. That was a big red flag for me.
