Thank you so much to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my review!

Aside from the fact that it was really weird to be reading a Christmas book in August, I thoroughly enjoyed this novella. It was a fun, quick read and I read it in an hour.
Snowed in With the Billionaire’s title basically explains the plot, but here are a few more details: the FMC, Brea, is on her way to her shitty family’s house for Christmas when she gets caught in a blizzard. She ends up at a secluded cabin that belongs to none other than George Clark, the playboy billionaire who experienced a life-or-death situation only hours before.
This book felt like Christmas. The fireplace, the food, the coziness – it was absolute perfection. Hands down my favorite part of the book.
The romance was actually paced pretty well, which I find is rare for a novella. It’s a hate to love romance with a grumpy hero who acts all tough but helps a random girl who shows up on his doorstep with no hesitation whatsoever (ok, maybe a bit of hesitation. But he still did it.)
If you’re looking for a fun, Christmasy novella, don’t hesitate to pick this one up. Its so cute and cozy, and it comes out TOMORROW (August 25th)!

***Snowed in with Billionaire is pure romantic escapism and a setup for some introspection as well as for the requisite sexy parts. The characters’s backstories are interesting and should keep readers turning the pages to learn how one night has changed multiple lives. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley.

This was a great Christmas romance novel - it had chemistry, a bit of spice, and the main characters were great.

I really enjoyed this - perfect for a piece of escapism!

While romance is not something I find myself drawn to very often, something about this book immediately pulled me in. I’m not sure if it was the cover or the description, but I was suddenly completely invested in the lives of George Clark and Brea Nelson.

This book follows George and Brea, and the connection they make on Christmas Eve when Brea stumbles upon his cabin after getting her car stuck in a ditch. The snow storm refusing to let up outside, George invites Brea to stay with him. That’s when they both begin to change, and realize that the lives they thought they’d constructed for themselves weren’t their only options.

George, as a character, is your stereotypical emotionally unavailable, rich, man who finds himself way too exposed amongst the tabloids, and Brea is the stereotypical average woman that the bad guy finds irresistible. It’s a story we’ve all heard before, but Leslie North does a wonderful job making it interesting, and something I found myself unable to put down until I made it to the end. (Really, I read it all in one sitting). Full of wonderfully written dialogue and characters with an undeniable connection, I believe anyone that enjoys reading a good romance book would love this novel. I highly recommend it!

A cute, easy read.
Brea has a crap relationship with her family, excpet her sister. She drives to visit for the holidays and gets caught up in a snow storm.
She shows up on George's door. He's a grump.
I would have loved more character development between the two of them and their relationship building.

I really enjoy books like this so I was so happy to come across this title and see it was part of Read Now. Brea and George reminded me a bit of Anastasia Steel & Christian Grey type vibes. I was so anxious to see how their chemistry develops and how she gets him to open up and literally thaws his heart out. I also really wanted to know what George’s near death experience was that made him so uptight and stoic. It was a really quick enjoyable read and would make a great movie. I usually prefer books on the first person as I enjoy having a point of view told directly from the narrator, but I felt it did not diminish the storyline. I would recommend this for an easy read and would enjoy adding this title to our womens fiction section.
