I wish the characters were more intimidating and twisted as they sound to be.

I like the writing. I have read a few books by the author and I had really high expectations of this new book! Maybe it affected my reading experience.

A story of work place assault, infidelity and the drama to hide them all with a theme of revenge in the plot.

A short, fast paced read. I would recommend this book for the casaul thriller readers.

Thank you, Inkubator Books, for the advance reading copy.

Maria and William have it all, two beautiful children, a perfect house, and a successful business. Then ex-employee David invades their house, determined to get revenge for what he felt was an unfair dismissal. As the night goes on, secrets will be revealed and not everyone may survive until morning...

Another brilliant thriller by Daniel Hurst. Full of secrets, twists and total shocks, this book kept me gripped and turning the pages until the shocking ending. Loved it!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of the book in return for my honest feedback.

Yet again another cracker of a read from Daniel Hurst.
I devoured this book in two sittings.
The characters range from the good, the bad and the ugly!
A tale that shows how much people can be manipulated and how far some will go to get what they want.
Twists and turns galore.
Thanks to the publisher and netgalley for my copy.
This is an easy five star read which i highly recommend.

I read this in one sitting, as in….I barely moved and read from cover to cover. Holy moly. Lots of thrillers feel like book versions of lifetime movies. This one definitely was but in the best way. The premise is outlandish but the execution is entertaining. William chapters were the best, he has a dark humor. Thanks for the advance review copy. I’d definitely check out more books from this author.

I had a lot of fun reading this book. So grateful for netgalley and inkubator publishing for giving me an advanced copy. Fast-paced, full of action and although the twists were a bit predictable to me, it didn't take away the suspense nestled in every chapter.

William and Maria seem like the perfect couple, they own a successful Advertising business and reside in the biggest house overlooking a magnificent neighborhood. But someone is lurking in the shadow of their well heeled lives—someone who wants payback.

Thankfully, this book was an easy read. The story didn't stretch too long and there were no boring characters. I particulary liked how the story was told in different narratives, this allowed me to really get into the characters thoughts and motivations. It mirrored the vulnerability of a man's morality and desire for power and justice.

You'll hate one of the characters and that person truly deserved what happened to them at the end. Very nice read. Now I can sleep and let tomorrow decide what I'll read next.

A nice, neat story with plenty of action and characters you will love to hate. It doesn’t take long for the true villain to show their colours but a couple of good twists make for a satisfying reveal.

The Intruder by Daniel Hurst is another pacey read from this prolific author, and I was gripped from the very first page.

William and Maria Gallagher are married and run a very successful business together. After winning a coveted award for their work, the couple agree that life is very close to perfect. But someone from their past is watching, and is not content to let the wrongs of the past go unpunished while the Gallaghers bask in their success.

This novel will certainly appeal to the author's legions of fans. Compelling, surprising, and highly readable, this one is guaranteed to hit the spot.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Inkubator Books for an ARC.

A satisfying read. This book was an easy, thriller to sink your teeth into! It wrapped up easily with a bow on top! It wasn’t a gripping novel, but I enjoyed it enough to read more from this author! I get tired of the tense, serial killer books, so this was a nice reprieve. It appears to be a revenge, kidnapper book but quickly morphs into a different tale. Give it a go if you want a relaxing thriller! Sounds like an oxymoron doesn’t it?

Another winner from Daniel Hurst. Of you've read precious books then you'll know what to expect and won't be disappointed. Again it's an easy read with plenty twists and turns and it keeps you guessing til the end. And it was another really satisfying ending!! The characters are always well fleshed out and multilayered and the plot, as usual, just goes in such unexpected directions that you never lose interest. Definitely a must read for any thriller fans
