Such a shame but it wouldn’t let me download to read this, so I can’t give it a review. I’ve read such good things that I’m gutted I missed out.
I will say from personal experience though, I think it’s one you flick back and forth through and I feel a physical copy would be easier than a e-book. Also I think people have got confused thinking it’s a comic rather than a book due to the cover chosen
I'm still amazed how good these modern adult 'Choose your own Adventure' books are :D From the start, the action is all go, with a crazy encounter in a park - where I found myself as reader to be just as confused as the player-character!
She-Hulk is written so well, she'll be immediately recognisable to fans of the recent show and the original comics. It's great to see a comparatively less famous superheroine getting her own lead role at last.
I'll be recommending this for those who may not quite get on with the ultra-insanity of the recent Deadpool title!
Dive into a gripping journey with She-Hulk as she defends her former enemy Ruby Thursday against false accusations of murder. This interactive book lets you shape the story with your choices, adding an extra layer of excitement. Full of action, mystery, and memorable villains, this is a must-read for anyone who enjoys superhero tales with a twist.
I an unable to review this title, as it was archived before I had a chance to download and read it. This feedback is only to stop this title from adversely affecting my netgalley feedback rate. If in the future I have the opportunity to read this title, I will post a proper review here.
“She-Hulk Goes to Murderworld” by Tim Dedopolus is a choose your own adventure type of book that is reminiscent of the Goosebumps novels that I enjoyed when I was young. I enjoyed playing as Jen Walter’s assistant as we try to find out who is framing Ruby Thursday. I had fun doing the puzzles and the challenges. Just make sure you have pen and paper handy, and a die. Finished the story for my first game and I want to discover the other endings as well. Overall, a fun read.
Thank you Aconyte, Mr. Dedopolus and Netgalley for the free ARC copy in return of my honest review.
Loving it! This was so much fun. Once again the author does it again bringing us this brilliant story/game book that gives us hours of fun.
This was the first book in which I was the one to die. And it most likely won't be my last, because it was just so much fun.
I loved being a part of the story and getting to join She-Hulk on this adventure. (Even if I did end up getting us both killed). You truly don't know what to expect when you turn to the next part. Getting to play it as a game gave it so much more than having had it as a novel you'd read straight through.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is a choose your own adventure. Now most of the time I don't think book like these would work but somehow this one does.
I died.
Just a tad disappointed since there was really nothing I could do about it. The rolls were too high and I didn’t have anything on my power stat. Barely got it to 2. Seems like that’s a pretty important stat in this story since you’ll just fail regardless of rolling. (Roll a 9 or higher with one die… farg).
Regardless, a fun experience that goes even deeper into the genre of “Choose Your Own Adventure.” Don’t remember having this much fun with a book like this since I read Zork as a kid.
I’ll certainly give it another go and even considering picking up the physical editions of both this and the Deadpool book by the same author.
The ebook version was very nice, though. All the pages were linked to take you right to the page you chose. Really convenient. Just grab a dice app (or real dice if you’ve got them on hand), get a doc to keep notes, and give it a go!
Thank you Aconyte Books and NetGalley for providing me with an eARC in exchange for a honest review.

Having previously read and enjoyed the previous Marvel Multiverse Missions book, You Are (Not) Deadpool, I was excited to try out the second book in the series, She-Hulk goes to Murderworld, especially now that the TV show is coming to an end and I need more She-Hulk in my life.
Just like in the other book in this series, She-Hulk goes to Murderworld does not put you in the shoes of the titular hero. This feels like something of a risky choice, as I imagine most readers want to play as the comic book heroes, fighting the fights and doing all of the cool stuff, but this series puts you into the role of a regular, ordinary person in the Marvel Universe who gets swept up in an adventure you're not equipped to be dealing with. And this is a move that I ultimately think works for the better; especially in this book.
The Deadpool book was enjoyable, but it also felt a little odd at times thanks to the reader having to pal around with a character that's extremely weird. This time, it feels like it works a lot better as She-Hulk is a more grounded and serious character than Deadpool; even if she does break the fourth wall and comment on the game mechanics a few times.
This more serious focus also comes into play with the story, as in the other book you were running around trying to figure out what was going, often left wondering why you were doing things, other than simply 'because Deadpool is telling me I have to'. Here, you're a paralegal working on a murder case with She-Hulk, and what you're doing makes more sense. You're searching for clues, interviewing witnesses, and following the trail to try and get your client freed and find the real killer.
But, this being a She-Hulk book, it's not your average procedural, and the very first things that happen in the story show that off, as you and She-Hulk get attacked by a vampire cow, Hell Cow. Despite the more serious tone of the book, this first encounter shows us that this is still going to be pretty damn weird too.
The book uses the same kind of mechanics as the other one, so if you've played that it'll feel familiar to you. If this is your first go round at one of these books there's enough explanations and help to begin with that you don't feel like you're too overwhelmed when things kick off for the first time.
I hope that these books prove popular, and that we get more of them. These first two have been really enjoyable and intriguing, and I'd love to see what characters the team at Aconyte would do for next. With so many weird and wonderful characters in the Marvel Universe, this feels like a series that could go on for a while, and do some great things.
This was so much fun. Once again the author does it again bringing us this brilliant story/game book that gives us hours of fun. I started this book in the afternoon and on my first go I got so near the end. I got to the boss man and the dice rolls let me down darn it. Gutted but I will definitely be giving this book another go. Its so easy to play even on the kindle. Which was how I payed it. The story was fantastic and very engaging. I definitely fell into it's spell and when playing I really felt like I was in the book. As there was a brilliant sense of atmosphere and tension. I had so much fun. I especially loved that this edition was less brutal in knocking off points when you lose rolls etc. Even if you lost a few fights it was easy enough to get to the end. Did I cheat at all? Well that would be telling ;p. It was a very late night as I wanted to finish the game/ book before bed so I just keeped guessing at the puzzles nope, nope, yes!!. This book flowed so well and I only ended going round in circles once. I little bit of advice ignore your gut feeling as I'm sure the airlock won't make you sick. I can't recommend this book enough. If you love marvel or tabletop games then this book is definitely for you. It would also be good for your game made teens. Also if you loved those choose your own adventure books you definitely need this book. At least you won't keep dying all the time lol.
Only the highest of praise goes out to the author and publishers for creating not just a fantastic game but also a brilliant story. I am really looking forward to the next instalment . I have my fingers crossed for a thor or sif game book. Wink wink nudge nudge.
The above review has already been placed on goodreads, waterstones, Google books, Barnes&noble, kobo, amazon UK where found and my blog yesterday https://ladyreading365.wixsite.com/website/post/she-hulk-goes-to-murderworld-by-tim-dedopulos-aconyte-5-stars either under my name or ladyreading365
She-Hulk goes to Murderworld is a you choose adventure combined with game elements that is rife with mystery. The reader plays as Jennifer Walter’s new personal assistant who helps She-Hulk decide on each course of action as someone is setting up Jen’s client and former villainess, Ruby Thursday to take the fall for murder. The book is written in a way where the routes to the end is numerous and the toll of the dice adds an element of unexpected fun. Unique and interesting, the book is a fun and entertaining read. My voluntary, unbiased review is based upon a review copy from NetGalley.
Jen Walters and Arcade! Fans of the new She-Hulk tv show, as well as the comics, should love this. Pitting the green goddess against a campy, knowing yet still terrifying, villain, works brilliantly- a hugely fun read
A great idea. We've never read an adventure book before. It sounded However it took time to do and we ended up focusing more on where to go next . Therefore we found the story boring quite quickly.
I never realized how fun a Marvel choose your own adventure book game could be until I got this. With the She-Hulk Disney+ Series coming out, when I saw this on NetGalley I obviously had to request it. I had so much fun with this book! I’ve only done one play through so far, but I’m definitely going to go through it numerous times (especially because I got ZERO STARS </3 on my first go through).
My only note is reading this on a Kindle wasn’t the best idea, but that’s on me for bumping the screen and going to the wrong page at times. Besides that, it was super fun!!
I’d like to thank NetGalley and Aconyte Books for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I loved the way this book was so interactive and requited that I the reader participate the way I did in the progress of the book. The reader is an active participant in the book and you are playing a role as the paralegal to Jen Walters She Hulk herself. There are twists and turns and some lead to death it's a roll of the dice after all. Fun book anyway.
I absolutely adore ‘choose your own ending’ type books, where you’re in control of where the story goes and the paths your protagonist takes and so this was a no brainer when it came to requesting.
What a fun filled, jam packed adventure!! I have not had this much fun reading in, I don’t even know how long!?
Packed to the brim with nostalgia, Easter eggs and a fantastic plotline, this is everything I could have hoped for and more!!
Hours of endless fun that will keep me coming back for more!
Ok, this was such a fun, nostalgic yet brand new, time. This is my first of the Marvel activity books and let me tell you, this is like if the Choose Your Own Adventure books of my childhood and Dungeons and Dragons had a child together! I cannot wait to snap these up for the kiddos in my life!
This was a super fun book! I'd never read anything this style before and I really enjoyed working my way through the story. Super interactive but I also ove the ability to walk away from it and start over!
Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing an arc for an honest review!
I thought I'd check out NetGalley for the first time in ages and found a bunch of new Marvel books and now Ihave plenty to keep me busy.
They gave me this book in return for an honest review and I honestly loved it!
I marked it as finished but I spent 5 hours or so playing through this book, getting murdered, getting sent off into another book(!) and trying to get the many different achievements. I'll definitely be back again for more tries. It was a ton of fun with lots of fun references to the various She-Hulk runs over the years and fourth-wall breaking from Jen.
It's well worth picking up as there is tons of replay value and tons of different endings to check out - I managed to win twice but keep getting the same ending and I've managed 28 different achievements with dozens left to go!
