I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. This book was so sweet and I couldn’t put it down. IT was like reading a Hallmark movie and I loved every second of it. It’s a sweet small town, closed door romance and it was just the perfect blend of sweet and funny for me. It is the second in the Blossom Glen series but it can easily be read as a standalone.
This book is part of a series set in Blossom Glen, the books can be read as stand alone. It is about 3 sisters, enjoyed the story look forward to the next book.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book. I appreciate it!
I enjoyed this sweet love story. While it was a bit predictable, it kept my attention and I loved the characters. I especially enjoyed the interaction between the two main characters. The characters also matured throughout the story, and the pacing of their growth was well done. The side characters rounded out the story and added depth. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series,
Miranda Liasson's The Sweetheart Fix is another beautiful, emotional tale that draws you in and never lets you go. The novels is the story of Juliet Montgomery, a relationship therapist struggling to get clients when no one believes she is capable due to her two and half failed engagements. When her professional life stalls, she gets a lifeline from Mayor Jack Monroe, who feels he is more able to get things done for his small town, but admits he may need Juliet's expertise when it comes to handling the emotions that come when dealing with community disputes.
I am a huge fan of Liasson's storytelling and I have loved every book of hers that I have read. That being said, any fan of fiction or romance will enjoy this book. Juliet is a wonderful protagonist; she is caring, loving, great at expressing herself, and also has a fieriness about her that makes her a great foil for Jack. Jack is strong willed and just as caring and loving, but he is more measured and has difficulty expressing his feelings verbally. Their relationship starts off with some antagonism as they are opposites in some ways, but it evolves beautifully and watching them grow and learn from one another was extremely gratifying. They had so many funny and endearing moments together which was incredible.
Having read The Sweetheart Deal, the first entry in the Blossom Glen series, I was already familiar with many of the side characters, but that didn't make them any less complete and entertaining. Juliet's family was once again a source of strength in the story and grounded her character even more. Jack's grandmother, Adele, was my favorite new character from this book. We could all be as lucky to have such a wonderful woman as our caregiver. The town of Blossom Glen shines as a fantastic example of a great small town with a wonderful cast of characters. Still, the real focus of the story is on Juliet and Jack and their banter and chemistry as just marvelous. I absolutely adored this book and I greatly recommend this book to anyone, but especially readers of fiction and romance.

This is the second book in the Blossom Glen series and, with two of the three sisters covered in these books, it is likely that a third will be coming. I have read both books, and while the Sweetheart Fix is part of the series, it works well as a stand-alone novel as well.
Living in the small, charming town of Blossom Glen, Indiana, has its advantages and some distinct disadvantages – privacy is a rare commodity when there are neighborly eyes everywhere. Juliet Montgomery is a fledgling relationship therapist with a well-known romantic history…three broken engagements (or is it two and a half?!?). When she is confronted about her past by her first clients, Juliet fumbles her response and is subsequently asked to stop conducting couples therapy until she has sorted out her issues. Needless-to-say, Juliet takes this setback hard and stumbles into a temporary position collaborating with the mayor to resolve complaints from town residents.
Jackson (Jack) Monroe is the handsome, commitment-phobic mayor who suffers from an inability to express his feelings. Consequently, he comes across awkward and aloof in his dealings with his constituents. One of his motivations for becoming mayor is to save his grandmother’s land from a developer with more interest in profits than in the town’s unique character.
At first glance these two seem an unlikely pairing, but there is truth in the saying that opposites attract. Both bring significant emotional baggage to the possibility of relationship. The question is whether they are willing to face their fears and put their respective histories to rest.
I enjoyed this simple, if predictable, storyline that is full of heart and gentle humor. The characters are engaging, likeable and believable. Overall, it was a fun romance and an entertaining exploration of love, family, and community.
My thanks to the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for the privilege of reviewing this book. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Another amazing story by Miranda Liasson with great characters. The small town atmosphere where everyone knows everyone's business. The two main characters, Juliet Montgomery and Jack Monroe are relatable and complex in which Ms Liasson shows a true depth of their personalities. Juliet who just started as a counselor at Blossom Glen's Psychological services practice. She had a complaint lodged against her by Chris the wife who she was counseling along with the husband. This was the first couple she was counseling at her new job. Chris questioned her ability to counsel them because Juliet had three failed engagements. Her boss Char told her she needs to take a break from relationship counseling but could still do family clients. It all comes down to lacking confidence. She needs to figure out what went wrong in her relationships. Then you have Jack who took a two year leave from his architecture job to become Mayor. He was hoping to get support from the people in his town when the zoning commission meets. His grandma's accountant failed to pay her taxes for years and now her property was to be auction off. There's a big conglomerate that wants to bid on his grandma's property and wants to turn it into a golf course with shops and restaurants. When Juliet ends up accidently in one of his forums where he hears towns grievances. She actually was helpful in solving a lot of those grievances. Actually she solved them. He knows everyone loves her. Maybe, she could also help him with improving his rough edges. So he ends up hiring her part-time temporarily as the town counselor. There is so much more to this story. This is a must read to see how their friendship develops and maybe more and also to get to know the other characters in this story. I enjoyed it so much I read it twice wishing I could find a small town like that to live in busybodies and all
Another delightful story of Blossom Glen from Miranda Liasson. The author has the great gift and skill in story writing of providing vivid descriptions of the characters as well as the charming town of Blossom Glen. It makes me want to live there. The story is filled with love, humor, and real emotions. This author is in my top ten list of favorites authors and I am looking forward to her next story. Don't miss this one.
This is a sweet, small town romance. Juliet is a counselor who lacks a bit of self confidence. Jack is the town mayor trying to save his grandmother's farm. They meet when she helps solve a dispute. He realizes he needs her help and she reluctantly agrees. Neither are looking for a relationship but agree to try friendship. We see the quirks and hilarity of situations and how each handle them. The story emphasizes the importance of friends and family. It is well written and a wonderful read that leaves a smile on your face.
I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. Cute romance story. Great for a weekend read.
A bit of a slow start but I am glad I struck with it. I have several patrons who would enjoy this simple love story and the challenges the characters face. Another plus is the small town aspect of the book.
I simply loved this story! It has romance, humor, family love, the perfect mix. Juliet is a trained therapist but she is having trouble sorrting out her love life. She has three broken engegements and cannot understand why she waited so long to break the engagements. Jack is the town mayor, he has trouble talking about his feelings but knows he is attracted to Juliet and she to him. Such an engaging story, the characters are real and lovable. I cried at the end.

This book was my first Miranda Liasson read but I'm anxious to read the rest of the series! Sweetheart fix is part of the Blossom Glen series but can be read as a standalone. I love smalltown books. I love the feel of them. The atmosphere that's created is so relatable, I think.
Absolutely loved the characters! I love the back and forth between Jack and Juliet.
Definitely recommend!
*I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.
Juliet was going to be a relationship counselor but only after working a very short time Char her boss put her out to work on herself. Juliet had grown up in small town Blossom Springs with her two sisters and everyone knew them and their business. Juliet couldn’t escape her 2.5 relationships prior to becoming a counselor. But the one thing Juliet was good at was bringing people working together and settling aside their differences. But while she was suspended for awhile she found another job helping the sexy mayor Jack out in his office. Jack was working on trying to save his grandmother’s house and land. Juliet is trying to not fall for just any guy until she can figure out why she leaves them.
Juliet gets Jack in some unpredictable situations helping out the community but he in turns gets her involved. Loved the scene with the moving of the tree and Jack’s very clean pickup. Sisters and friends definitely had each other backs and fun to read about each of their relationships with each other.
This book definitely tells you to forgive your past and be your true self.
I received this ARC from Netgalley for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This is a truly an enjoyable read. It's a heartwarming & moving romance. Wonderful characters
I could believe in. A sweet
storyline with small town charm.
Juliet & Jack, have been secretly attracted to each. But their personalities always seem
to clash.
Jack asks for Juliet's help
with the town meetings.
As they spent more time together,
Juliet & Jack, finally let their
guard down.
Will they ever open their hearts.
It's an engaging story from the
first to last page!!
This is book two in this series. Juliet is a therapist who kinda lost her job for awhile. Jack is the mayor of Blossom Glen and is determined to save his Grandmother’s land. He and Juliet butt heads for awhile and then join forces.
It’s a nice feel good story. Juliet sounds like a really nice person. Blossom Glen sounds like a nice place to live. Jack sounds delicious.
Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the early copy
Small town stories always get me. This one had such a great cast of characters. Each one came to life as I read the book. Juliet is such an interesting character who seems to have a bit of a spotty past when it comes to men. It was really enjoyable to see her new romance come alive.
Thank you NetGalley for my ARC!
I loved this book. It's book 2 in the Blossom Glen books. I was lucky enough to get to read the first book as well. It is about Juliet, who has 3 broken engagements in her past, & Jack who has problems with relationships. They have a hard time being in the same room together. I can't wait for the 3rd book. Love this series, since it is based in Indiana & I live in Indiana. Thank you for this enjoyable book.
This is such a cute novel! Definitely a great cozy fall read! I had not read any novels by Miranda Liasson until this one but It was really good! Definitely recommend this to someone looking for a clean, quick fall read.
Miranda Liasson wowed me once again with Juliet and Jacks story. This story tugs at your heart strings. This story makes you want to jump in to the story and make them come to their senses. Both have issues from their past as we can all relate. However, you see how they are so good for each other but you keep wi drying will they ever be able to overcome their past and move on to happiness. It’s quite the love story. I recommend this book. After all, you are going to have to see how the story ends for these two. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this sweet love story.
Jack & Juliet
This is the second book in the Sweetheart series, but it can easily be read as a stand alone too. In this book we meet the second Montgomery sister Juliet. Juliet is a fiery and passionate woman just about to achieve her dream of becoming a therapist, when a big curveball is thrown her way. Right after that happens an opportunity arises to work with her nemesis Jack the town’s mayor. Jack is a rigid cowboy who believes more in action thank talk. Jack became mayor only to try to help his Grandmother save her land, and his time to do so is quickly running out. In a desperate attempt to help, he hires Juliet as the town therapist of sorts. As Jack and Juliet work together to help the town, sparks fly, but both of them have a lot in their past holding them back. This book had great characters, a beautiful setting, and an interesting plot. One of those stories that makes you wish the people and places were real so you could go and visit. Hoping there is a book for the third Montgomery sister coming soon! I received an ARC of this story, and this is my honest review.
