Little Book of Caring takes kids through how easy it is to show you care: saying a kind word, apologizing when you do something wrong, lending a helping hand, keeping your own things straightened up, and so forth. This book has a simple message, as it is all about being present in the world around you, give of yourself, and you will receive in kind. Little Book of Caring is about how to be a good person and friend to those around you.

Overall, Little Book of Caring has a very positive message and is one that I would definitely recommend. Though this is a children's book, the message is universal. The world could use more caring - a little kindness can go a long way.

The book is well illustrated, with whimsical drawings and good facial expressions. I would recommend Little Book of Caring for both home and school libraries.

Oh my! So very adorable indeed. This little book of caring shows how we can do little things that let others around us know we care; with words (like thank you, sorry, and please); with actions (simple and big); and with simply being there.

Thanks to the publishers and NetGalley for the digital review copy of this book.

Such a simple book with such a powerful message.

Be helpful. Listen. Share what you don't need anymore. Do these things to be a good human to other humans, and to yourself.

I suspect this lovely little book with all the big ideas is destined to become a classic. Its timeless message will endure, as it should.

A simple book with lovingly detailed artwork that highlights small ways we can all be more caring and kind to each other and ourselves. A great, quick book to read to start a discussion on socio-emotional learning with children and how we can make the world a better place for ourselves and others around us.

A simple sweet story that teaches children the impact of caring for others and the earth. Few words and beautiful illustrations make this a book for children of all ages. This book would make a great book for storytime.

Personally I did not enjoy this book. I didn’t think there was much substance to it. I like the style of the illustrations but the words were lacking.

Beautifully illustrated, simple text, big messages.

Loved this new book with its lovel,y line drawings and sweet characters. Children will love reading this and learning how to be a friend in the truest sense. Short and sweet and a bit vintage-looking. Highly recommend.

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinions.

This books perfect for early readers. The ways to show you are and written in short lines and then illustrated in three cute scenes. They are simply line drawings focusing on a pig and his friends. Great buy.

Heartwarming and beautiful little book that could be a staple in every classroom and library. The little parts about self-care and sharing were a favourite and the illustrations were beautiful. Will definitely buy for the library and the classrooms, a great addition to the PYP curriculum especially the early years!

Simple acts of caring can make a huge impact to the world.
Francessca Pirrone's "Little Book of Caring," is an admirable book which shows us simple ways to care for oneself and for others. Written in simple sentences with straightforward illustrations, this book is an excellent tool to teach young children about positive social interaction.
Besides, this book is a good reminder to the readers that when you care for others, it will pay you back.

What a gorgeous book. I will be sharing this with my children every year, possibly multiple times a year. The messages are so simple, but sadly, are forgotten about every day in schools all around the world. It's so easy to say good morning, to listen, to help, to share, but how often does it happen, even in an adults life? This book gets you to realise that these little gestures are simple to us, yet mean the world to those around us. The illustrations are beautiful and the more you look at them, the more you realise there are multiple messages behind them. It's a great book to get children talking, simply because there are so few words and so many images to learn from. It's a new favourite of mine.

This precious little children’s book is all about how easy it is to show that you care – including examples such as saying good morning, being helpful, listening when people are speaking, tidying up, apologizing when it’s merited, sharing, taking good care of yourself, and more. A perfect lesson within a story for the little ones at home and a good reminder that when you take care of others, they’ll take care of you.

Care for the little things...and they'll grow big.

We all need help in caring for others. What it looks like and to be encouraged to care. This is a very sweet book to read with your children. I could see this being a classic on day. The illustrations, the simplicity, and the hard to forget characters. Caring comes in many different forms and sizes.

A special thank you to Clavis Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review

A lovely little book for (hopefully) lovely little readers, this has a very generous and mindful pig doing what we all should do – listen, care for people, give them what we no longer have need for, treat them well – and then treat ourselves well. Oh, and recycle and tidy our bedrooms. It's simple, it's sparse when it comes to words (and the pictures aren't exactly that busy, either) – but it felt like it could be really impactful. Four and a half stars.

Oh my word. What a sweet and precious little book! Simple messages on how to be a kind friend and responsible part of a community.

The illustrations are adorable and the messages come in simple little statements. Certainly a book to add to the shelves of children young and old. Even adults can enjoy flipping through this one on their own. I would recommend this book to all.

Thanks to NetGalley and Clavis Publishing for this eARC.

Pig, wearing short pants and socks, is back to show us how to be caring as well as kind. Look after each other, say good morning, let others speak and listen to them; it’s easy to do, costs nothing, and can help make someone’s day. B
