First off, this novel is marketed towards healthcare workers and People of Faith. I think the author did a great job at balancing the two aspects of the novel. Neither felt overwhelming to someone on either side of the targeted audience. As a future osteopathic physician,
And Secondly, I appreciated the medical approach of a holistic healing process. Treating the patient as a person affected by physical, mental and spiritual ailments and not just the physical disease we see presented. This is a thought process taught in my medical school that I wish more doctors understood. Spiritual and mental illness can and often will, manifest physically.
I do recommend this to people of faith and healthcare workers a like because it is split into tiny individual cases making for a small reads at a time.
