Thank you to NetGalley and HawkTale Publishing for Love Always, Christmas by @traveltherapy . Here is my honest review.
I am a big Christmas Movie lover and I love the Christmas Prince movies. When I saw that Karen Schalers book Love Always, Christmas was coming out I just had to read it.
Adams parents have always wanted to move to Evergreen Valley. They have been waiting for a long time and now they are finally there. Evergreen Valley is known for their Christmas decorations and Adams parents are going to fit in well. Adam is there to help them settle in and to decorate.
Libby lives in her parents house on the same street. Her father died a while ago and she lost her mother earlier that year. Libby has just started her own production company and the house need a lot of repairing. She has two choices, to make a lot of money or to sell the house. She has one project booked that she hopes is going to solve the problem.
Adam and Libby have had 2 encounters both time because Libby has accidentally destroyed two of Adams parents Christmas decorations. They have one thing in common, they have both been burned in love and have no interest in a love life.
One day Libby goes through some old stuff in the attic and finds an unopened envelope from someone called CeCe. Inside there's a photo of her mother as a child and an older girl. The letter is sent from Holly Peak a town that has won the competition Best Christmas town. Libby decides to go there to check it out for an upcoming photo shoot that she has and also to try find out who this CeCe is.
Libby’s plan was to stay in Holly Peaks for a few hours but things happen and she ends up staying a little longer. She has more time getting to know CeCe and a certain someone who also lives there.
This book has it all, it has love, humor, Christmas, food, a cute puppy and a little sadness. I loved all the characters in this book. It is a perfect Christmas read!!

I received the advanced reader's copy of this book from the publisher and NetGalley. This is my first book written by the author. I have seen at least one of the movies she has written. The note that she has written Hallmark movies caught my attention. I'd chose a book to read over a movie any day. Christmas movies are a treat, so I had a feeling I'd really enjoy this book and I did. This is my unsolicited opinion.
Libby and Adam have a smashing and comical introduction. She is a busy business owner and is simply not in the mood for Christmas. Learning that the character was in mourning for her mother caught my attention right away as I lost mine a year ago. The author certainly grabs at a reader's feelings. Libby definitely reflects the emotions a person can have while dealing with loss and loneliness.
This is a sweet story. I don't want to give away any spoilers. It has what a Christmas book needs, good characters, something sad or challenging in the background, holiday ambiance and, of course, a dog!

It’s no surprise to me that Karen Schaler has once again written a perfect Christmas story. Romance, emotion, humor, and all the best Christmas traditional nostalgia with new things woven together into swoony and joyful bliss . A perfect book to read wrapped up in a cozy blanket, drinking hot cocoa, and watching the light from the fireplace dance across the pages.

Thank you #netgalley and #Hawktale Publishing for my advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.
If you are looking for a good Christmas story Karen Schaler never dissapoints. She had me hooked within the first paragraph. This book gives you everything you need in a story. You have humor, romance, all the Christmas feels, and especially a really adorable puppy. If you are looking for a book you can’t put down look no father and get Love Always Christmas.

This book is wonderful! Libby lost her Mom, her last living relative, and is in no mood to decorate for Christmas even though her whole neighborhood does due to a plan instituted by her parents years ago. She is struggling with the company she started and is in danger of losing her business and the family home without a miracle.
This book is an uplifting Christmas story with many twists along the way. Some parts are laugh out loud funny while others are sad. There is so much emotion from the characters that I felt drawn into the story myself. Rudolph is an amazing dog and brings so much and life to the story. When tragedy strikes everyone realizes they have people they can depend on no matter how much they may have felt alone. The story moves along at a nice pace and I found it hard to put it down. Of course, being a Christmas story there is a happy ending but not as one might expect.
I received an advance copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

Love Karen Schaler books, this was a very sweet christmas story. very easy read, read in one day. look forward to more of her books.

Love Always, Christmas by Karen Schaler. Christmas 🎄 is such a beautiful time of year. Christmas stories are so much fun to read. Ones that take places in Christmas towns are wonderful. This story has love and romance in two Christmas towns. Read the story. You will love it.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.
When Libby and Adam meet, it’s not a good meeting. He was putting up Christmas decorations in his parents garden and an incident made Santa hit Libby. He saw her "killing Santa". After which, whilst she was coming out of her driveway, a bit fast, in her car, a reindeer flew at the car and she hit it.
Adam names her “Santa Killer”. That made me laugh. I loved this book, the story of a community coming together to help others and hidden secrets.
I recommend this book.

What a great Christmas story with lots of Christmas feels. It may just make you believe in Christmas miracles if you don’t already. Parts had me laughing, you just never know who or what will attack you. The scene I had in my head! I love the characters in this story. It’s hard to pick a favorite, but maybe CeCe and Rudolph. I would love to hang out with Adam and Libby again too. I received this book from NetGalley, but my opinion is my own.

I Just love christmas books, they give me a calm feeling inside me. Christmas spirit, Quick banters,.snowmen soulmates, ugly.christmas sweaters, old secrets, family ties, and a sweet romance. This book has it all. So pull on your fluffy socks, grab a blanket , drink.cocoa , light some candles and dive into this book.
Thank you to netgalley for letting me read this e arc in exchange for an honest opinion

LOVE ALWAYS, CHRISTMAS was so much fun! I love Christmas books that throw tinsel a that tree in big handfuls and Karen Schaler’s books always hit the mark! ❄🎄🎅
Libby is a social media marketer who is trying to land a big account. She has been struggling with the loss of her parents, who loved Christmas, and may soon lose their house. There were some hilarious scenes with “Santa Kitty” the internet star that I absolutely loved. Libby travels to the small town of Holly Peak after she finds a letter addressed to her mother that was unopened. When she gets there, she meets CeCe, a woman who is beloved by the town and who allowed her to say with her for a few days. She says she and her mother were friends. But there is more to that story. There’s a small romance subplot with Adam, who lives in town (and has an adorable dog named Rudolph!), but it’s very subtle. The storyline with Cece is the main focus of the book.
Some of my favorite moments: the Holly Trolley (Christmas themed food trucks!), gazebos with Christmas lights and holly, all the yummy food, candy apples, fudge, 🍭peppermint pumpkin pie, Christmas bowtie pasta, glittering Christmas doughnut holes🍩… YUM! We learn more about Cece and Libby and who Cece really is and why she really sent the letter as he book goes on. And then of course the town has to help save Christmas! Enjoyed this one! 5/5 stars.
Disclaimer: I received a complimentary ARC copy of this book from HawkTale Publishing and NetGalley for review purposes.

This was exactly the feel good Christmas story that I needed. I loved the different connections that were made and this was a sweet and authentic Christmas story! Thanks to NetGalley and to Karen Schaler’s team for the Advanced Copy!

I loved the movies that were inspired by this author's previous novels. I did not realize they were actually books so I will likely have to pick those up after reading this cute Christmas story. I think that the story between Adam and Libby is so interesting and kept me engaged throughout the story. I will likely pick up this book again closer to the holidays.
Thank you for the free copy in exchange for an honest review!

When Libby meets the new neighbors son, Adam, things did not go very well. Adam was in the yard putting up Christmas decorations and something happened that Santa flew over and hit her. He caught her "killing Santa". Then a few minutes later as she was pulling out of her driveway driving a little faster than she should, A reindeer flew at her and she hit it. So Adam calls her a Santa Killer.
I laughed at this point and decided that this was going to be a really good book. I must say that Ms. Schaler didn't disappoint. This was an awesome book. If someone asked me my favorite part I would not be able to answer that question because I just can't pick one part that I liked the best. I read the whole book in a day.

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
Libby is often clumsy and in a hurry. She happens to wreck a Christmas decoration and Adam is NOT happy about it. The two seem to rub each other the wrong way.
Lots of circumstances bring these two together and eventually their arguing turns into something more. They both realize their love for Christmas and doing good and what is right wins over any argument they may have.
But family secrets on Libby’s side could turn things in another direction and will Christmas be ruined for Holly Peak as well?
3.5 stars

Mystery and romance in a small town setting. A real Christmas feel to this very enjoyable book. There is nothing to dislike about and I am giving it 5 stars.
Thanks to Netgalley and publisher for this ARC
Mystery

This book is such a joy to read! The adorable small town mountain town of Holly Peak is where we all dream of spending Christmas, with its old fashioned values and sense of community. The author’s descriptions of the town and people are so vivid you almost feel as though you are there. While a lot of the plot points in the story have been done before, somehow the author brings a freshness and originality to these. The mystery and humour just added to my enjoyment of the book. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this book one day becomes a Christmas movie!

A cozy and charming holiday tale. Karen Schaler is among the queens of Christmas romances, and, as in her prior Christmas-themed stories, she has created a very merry setting. I would love to visit the mountain town of Holly Peak, Washington in December and stay in the delightfully decorated home of character CeCe. And I enjoyed this light read, with which I spent a very pleasant afternoon. Overall, this novel felt rushed and comparatively unpolished, however. Many thanks to HawkTale Publishing and NetGalley for a complimentary ARC. Opinions are my own.

Thank you NatGalley for a pre-release of “Love, Always Christmas.”
I’m a big fan of Karen Schaler’s Christmas novels, and her newest, “Love Always, Christmas,” didn’t disappoint, Unlike some of her previous books, this book doesn’t hinge around the Christmas Camps. But the characters in this book love Christmas just as much - if not more. At the heart of this book is love for one another and Christmas. I highly recommend that you add this to your Christmas reading list this season!!

I requested to read and review this book for free from HawkTale Publishing Company. I loved this book. This story will make you say I can't put I down I need to know what happens. It has drama, some romance, mystery. I can't wait to see what production company picks this book to be made into a movie! This story can be read anywhere not just at Christmas. Secrets have a way of coming good or bad or both. Love can be found when you least except it or don't want it. Asking for help is not a bad thing. Libby has had a string of bad luck it seems but can she turn it around when her back is against the wall. Adam has had good moments and not so good moments in life. But can he look past the hurt to find his future. Cece and Tammi are both powerful characters in this book. You will want to read this to find out what parts they play in this life.
