My Review:
Enjoyed!!!! This one reminded me of a good old fashioned police movie. The ones that were in black and white. The police characters were rough around the edges and there was a damsel in distress just like in the old movies. The only downfall to this book was it was very wordy at times and some of the chapters were not necessary. I like simple books with characters that act and talk like you would in real life. The saving grace to this book though was that dark and twisted ending. It surprised me at every turn. I count read the chapters fast enough at the end. I would’ve never guessed who did it and why. Everyone was connected in this book and it came back full circle. This author was new to me and I would definitely read more of her books.

In conclusion, the plot, the characters and all the twists in this book made this book an enjoyable read. I would definitely recommend it and happily give it 4 Hearts❤️❤️❤️❤️

This book was sent to me by Netgalley for the review. Thanks to the publisher for this electronic copy. This author is talented at writing a cannot put down novel. The characters come alive on the pages, and this fiction book could be nonfiction. It could happen. It might have happened. I might still happen. The main character loses her husband...secrets...lies...the past...the present...what happened to him? What happened to his first wife? So many questions in this book...red herrings abound. The story moves somewhat slowly, at times, and I do not like the sections divided up into the different character viewpoints...that being said, I was unable to put this book down. I kept wanting to know what would happen next. Hurry to the ending...Don't miss this book...I look forward to more stories from this author.

Good book! This book had suspense, intrigue, murder, a good who done it and many twists and turns! The storyline was very interesting and had me glued to my Kindle! I will definitely recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

Wow! What a book! I couldn't read it fast enough. The tension and pace were absolute magic! Brilliantly unsettling, with characters so deftly woven that you never quite know who – if anyone – you can trust. Another riveting and powerful psychological thriller from this talented author.
There's something about the way the author writes that makes the words flow easily, and the pages turn themselves!
