I really enjoy Boland's books, and this is an older one of her books. I can see how much her writing has developed over the years, but she has always written page turners.
I loved the arrangement of this one, the different timelines keeping the readers engaged and lapping up the clues and drama until it comes together with a bold and exciting ending!

Twisty turny and a little unbelievable. The first half of the book grabbed me and I couldn’t put it down. The second half, while good, didn’t feel the same as the beginning.

I could not put this book down! It had unexpected twists and suspense galore. As usually, smart people making dumb decisions. But the book is so well written that I was shocked at some of the events because they were so unexpected. I had to go back and read the first chapter again. To me, that's the sign of a good suspense novel. The ending was kinda predictable though.

I enjoyed this book. I was quickly pulled into the story and found myself continuing to listen well past my bedtime, telling myself "just one more chapter" so I could find out what happened next. Some parts were less believable which took away from the overall rating of the book, but overall I was encapsulated and guessing what was going to happen.

This book started out strong but about halfway went off the rails! Anna makes dumb decisions, a lot of dumb decisions. The ending is so over the top that it became funny.

I just love books by Shalini Boland, and this one doesn't disappoint if you are looking for a quick, fun, twisty turny summer read.

Anna appears to have it all, a doting rich husband, friends, the perfect life. But one day she is confronted with secrets from her dark past, which she is forced to confront. Given an ultimatum, Anna must face her demons from the past before they catch up to her present.

This book is fun to read and has jaw dropping twists. But, the characters are mostly unlikable and no one really acts like anyone would in real life, which is why it was dropped to 4 stars. Definitely don't pick up this one if unrealistic storylines bother you because this one is a doozy. But if you are down to go for a wild ride, then hang on!

I listened to this book on audio, and the narrator did a great job.

Special thank you to Tantor audio, Netgalley, and the author for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a fast paced thriller that kept me guessing the entire time. It’s about a woman that receives an email with a photo attached of a murder. She knows who the murderer is, but she can’t risk her life unraveling. Definitely recommend!

Well, that was an unexpected ending. Anna Blackwell’s life will change with the click of an open for an email. Who can she turn to? What other lies are being hidden?

Anna is happily married to Will, not only happily married because she loves her husband but because he’s also a millionaire. Not that this why she is happily married to Will or that money buys happiness but it certainly makes life comfortable.
Then she receives a messages with a video showing the tragic death of a woman involved in an accident. Unfortunately, this isn’t just a sick malicious message, but one she fears maybe from her ex-boyfriend that has consequences for her husband. Anne hasn’t been lying to her husband rather than she just hasn’t opened up about her ex because opening leads to another secret that no one knows about apart from Anne’s parents, not even her best friend that she’s had from school knows.
This is a physiological drama that twists and turns with secrets told from the view point of the protagonist and from a few a past time line to give the back story was well as the present time.
With thanks to #NetGalley and Bookoture Audio for this preview read of the suspense thriller #MillionairesWife

This was my first Shalini Boland's book, and won't be my last. This is an excellent thriller. Anna and Will are great characters. Will is handsome, supportive, and protective. Anna is enigmatic, strong, and determined. The characters are well developed, and intriguing. I liked the suspense, the mystery, the romance, and the twists and turns. Katie Villa did an excellent job with the narration. I enjoyed it. I received a copy of this book through NetGalley, a Bookouture Audio production, for an honest review.

This is my second Shalini Boland book and it did not disappoint again! Katie Villa did an amazing job of telling the story. I initially sympathized with Anna and Finn's relationship, but something always seemed off. I enjoyed the switch from past and present with each chapter. I will say, with about 15% of the book left, I wasn't sure what all needed to happen. In the end, it was all wrapped up nicely. I will continue to look for her books as they are engaging and fast-paced! Thank you: NetGalley, Shalini Boland, and Bookouture Audio for the chance to listen to this one in exchange for an honest review.

I am such a huge fan of Shalini and it was a treat to listen to this one. And since I was on a long car ride, I listened to it mostly in two sittings. Katie Villa did a great job narrating this one and kept the story intriguing.

It’s a tension filled fast pace read. I love to try and figure things out in a psychological thriller and love it even more when the author keeps me guessing. And a few twists really shocked me. It also made me think about how well do you know those around you and who can you trust?

Told in dual timelines of the present and the past, you learn of Anna and her life with Fin and Will, her previous boyfriend and current husband. Everyone has a secret or ten and sooner or later they will all catch up with you.

An easy read (or listen) that keeps you intrigued. The story alternates between the past and the present (which I'm always a fan of) and had enough twists and turns to keep my interest. I didn't love the book, but I enjoyed it.

This is my second book by the author, and I enjoyed it as much as the first and will definitely continue to look for her books. The story was well-written and the author does a nice job of pulling you into the story. Anna has made a wonderful life for herself with her handsome, wealthy, and distinguished husband and his family. She has left the past behind and doesn’t look back, but it looks like the time has come for that past to catch up with her. The story is divided into two timelines, one in present day and one when Anna was younger and in love with a troubled young man, Finn. Anna has been keeping secrets, and those secrets may just come spilling out and jeopardize her perfect life. Filled with twists and turns that will keep you guessing and suspense and intrigue that will have you glued to the end, the book is quite a page-turner. I reviewed this as an audiobook, and I thought the narration was done quite well, with emotion and feeling, really bringing you into the story. A very enjoyable read!
I received a complimentary copy from Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.
