Do you know where your children are? A spell bounding mystery that will absolutely keep you coming back for more. I absolutely was mesmerized until the end.
Sue Watson always manages to keep her readers guessing and this book is no different, Once I started to read it, I had to force myself to leave it aside as otherwise nothing would have been done for the last few days. A five star plus read.
Enjoyed this new domestic thriller by Sue Watson. She just never disappoints! A great cast of characters that kept me hooked and wanting more. Lots of secrets, lies, twists and turns.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book
Suspenseful read with some good twists. I would recommend this for Sue Watson fans, and for anyone who enjoys a good mystery. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.
Something a bit different, a pretty good read with a lot of dislikeable characters.
At times i wanted to shake the main character.
A different ending to what i expected.
A little stale in places and i found myself skipping a few pages.
My thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my copy.
Overall well worth a read.
There were a lot of parts and a lot of characters, Emily of course being one of the main ones. It was different then I expected based on the summary. There were some twists and turns. The ending was the most shocking part for me.
I liked it and read it within 2 days. The storyline has good intrigue and moves along quickly. I’m not sure that The Nursery is the best best title for the story. I would’ve likely called it something more along the line of “Be Careful What You Wish For”.
Thank You to Bookouture and NetGalley for the opportunity to enjoy this ARC.
Omg holy fricken I can't even begin to tell you how fantastic, great, marvelous, twisty and so much more this book was!!!!!! .
I literally could not put this down..not even to eat, barely breathed.
I know I loved this author but once again she has out done herself. Exceeded expectations that I thought of this book and how much I would enjoy it.
Must must must put this on your to read list!!! Like now, right now..this second..trust me you will not for one second be disappointed.
More a lot more than 5 stars!!!!!
Thanks to the author, the publisher and NetGalley for an early release of this book.
My Review:
Loved!!!!! Before I even turned the first page I just knew I was going to enjoy this book. This author is one of my favorites and this book proved why. She always has me on the edge of my seat guessing the whole way through. She always makes sure there are a ton of twists and turns that you don’t see coming. I never know what to expect when I open up a Sue Watson book which is a great thing. So I devoured this book in just a few sittings. Time flew right by me while I was reading this one . I was having breakfast one minute then the next it’s dinner time. This book really resonated with me especially since I have a fourteen year old son. I would do anything for him like this mom did for her daughter. I would also make sure that he is safe at all times like this mom did as well. With this book I kept thinking the past is never really the past is it. It is always coming creeping back in somehow to the present. It must be confronted in order for it to be let go of fully. It finally came full circle by that shock of all shockers of an ending. It almost gave me a bloody heart attack. I couldn’t believe what I was reading. I had to read twice just to be sure. Sue Watson outdid herself once again.
In conclusion, the plot, the characters and all the twists in this book made this book an enjoyable read. I would definitely recommend it and happily give it 5 Hearts❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Good book! This book had suspense, intrigue, action, murder, and a great who done it! The storyline was very interesting and had me glued to my Kindle! I will definitely recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
The title is a little deceptive but it doesn’t detract from the fact it is actually a great story.
Emily is hiding secrets but it would appear that her daughter is keeping more. Can she continue to protect Sophia without their world’s crumbling around them. Can Emily keep Sophia safe.
A book with plenty of twists but one that will have you keep turning the pages. Many thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to see an ARC
Sue Watson's brand-new book The Nursery is an engrossing read. From the first few pages this electrifying thriller grips you. The story is filled with atmospheric scenes and unbalanced characters. Sue Watson keeps you guessing as you try to figure out the plot.
Synopsis:
Emily, a single mother, has made a new life with her daughter Sofia. Now a teenager, Sofia talks to strangers on the internet. Emily intervenes and "thinks" she has the situation with Sofia under control, until she sees another unsettling cryptic message from the cyber stalker. Who is this person and what do they want?
You know you are in for a treat when you buy a book by Sue Watson. I read everything that the author publishes. Currently the USA Today best-selling author has penned 34 books.
The Nursery by Sue Watson is available on October 20th.

Thank you, NetGalley and Bookouture, for sharing this riveting novel with me. Your kindness is appreciated!
I literally just finished this moments ago and wanted to write down my thoughts immediately while I catch my breath.
I went into this one blind for the simple fact that if Sue Watson comes out with a book, I know it doesn’t matter what the book is about because she is an author that I automatically clear my schedule for when it comes to page turner thrillers. 😬
I’m not even a parent but I had major anxiety reading this because it’s literally a parents worst nightmare. So, I can’t even imagine the feelings an actual parent will feel when they read this.
I can’t go into my thoughts in great detail because I don’t want to give away spoilers but all I will say is that I hope you’re strapped in because y’all aren’t prepared for the TWISTS that’s about to smack you in the face. Oh and just about the time your face stops stinging from the first twist slap, you’re gonna be twist slapped again in the face and again. 👋😳👋😳
Let’s just say that your face is going to be bright red after you finish this one from all the twists that’s going to smack ya. 😮💨🤣🤯
The final twist had me staring into the abyss saying “WAIT, WHAT. OH MY GOD. WHHHAAAT”! 🤯🤯🤯

Wow! Just Wow! The author is absolutely brilliant! What an intense build up of the story.
I did have a feeling about a couple of things, but I was so wrong. I love jaw dropping, shocking moments and there were quite a few!
Synopsis:
Emily ran from her home, her husband, and career when her daughter Sophia was only 3. What was she running from you ask? You'll have to read this to find out.
I will say that she got very lucky meeting Mr and Mrs Woods when she made it to her new location. They treat Emily and Sophia like family, giving them a house to rent and a job at their store.
12 years go by when suddenly Sophia started getting messages on social media about her mother not being who she seems, that she is a liar, etc.
Emily finds out and is now worried if what she ran from so many years ago is back to haunt her.
I highly recommend this book! I
can't wait to read more by this author!
There are some books that you just have to reread some lines…this is one…especially at the end of the chapters. Red herrings…the main character has secrets…the others do also…no one is honest…they are sneaky and secretive…not one character is truly likable…that being said, this talented and gifted author has written a cannot put down story..what a movie this would be…some books stay in one’s mind…this is one…the title is somewhat misleading…the story moves slowly at times…besides that though, turning to the next page brings surprises and thoughtfulness…guessing…wondering…this book was sent to me by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher for the electronic copy. Don’t read at night…you won’t be able to put it down…
