An early read about biodiversity - why it's important, how we realise critters are endangered and what we do about it when we do, and so on. Some success stories are nice and upbeat, but listing how we categorise land set aside for nature, how we classify endangered animals, and what charities and scientists do felt surprisingly dry to me.
