Santa's first hand account of some of the funniest things that kids have told him through the years. Kids are brutally honest at times and especially to Santa. Santa also had some funny experiences as well.

When I chose to read this book, I thought it would be written more like a "Chicken Soup for the Soul" style book, with humorous vignettes about things that children say to Santa Claus. While there are some funny stories in the book, there are also a lot of serious ones. The author talks honestly about his times as Santa and experiences that he has had over the years. He got to visit children who had experienced loss of their home from the wildfires in California and children who had experienced other tragedies. There were cute stories about Christmas in Hawaii and funny things that happened or that were said to him.

While many aspects of this book were sweet, I don't feel that the title fits what the book was really like. It was much too serious of a book overall. I did not enjoy this book as much as I may have if it would have been marketed differently.

Yes kids say the darndest things, they also say some of the sweetest. This was a sweet read. I really enjoyed getting Santa’s take on what goes on during their heart to hearts.

This was such a funny and lovable read. I just loved hearing what the kids say to Santa. Some of these stories had me in stitches. Especially those that were trying to give their siblings away. It was such a joy to read this book. I just loved every second of it. I loved the section at the front and the end where the author explained how he got into being Santa and how it has evolved. The author writes si well and you can feel the passion fot his work come out in the words. I applaud the author for his word to help children during trying times. I especially loved reading how he spent his ime with the children really listening to them and helping where he could to reassure them. He especially worked as Santa for those children who don't have a home at Christmas due to various shocking situations. I am so glad that friends and family encouraged him to write down these stories. My favourite story was where Santa didn't fly on a military aircraft to help those in need of Santa at Christmas eve and didn't fly back the same day so he could continue to to visit children on Christmas day ;) wink wink. I can't recommend reading this book enough as it will fill you with wonderful Christmas spirit.

So much praise goes out to the author and publishers for bringing us this wonderful collection of stories. I will always remember the golden rule. If you are going to be Santa bring two suits. Haha.

Children's belief in Santa Claus will always bring out the best in all of us. Great memories of holidays usually include the wonder of the children. This is the 3rd volume in this series, but the memories it will stir are unique to the reader. If this book doesn't inspire you to find the first tow and read them, there is a word for you.....scrooge. I ended up reading much of this book out loud to family and friends who have demanded their own copy.

Thank you Netgalley for allowing me to read this ARK.

When I received it I thought it was just going to be funny lines Santa has heard from kids over time. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was so much more.

Yes there were funny and lines, but the main message (for me) was how important Santa really is. He is there for children who have parents over sea, he is there for children who have lot everything in disasters and really he is a constant to children who need something to hold on to when they are having hard times

This book is beautiful and I hope that all Santas have this passion to make kids smile no matter what.

I received a free copy of, Kids Say The Dardest Things to Santa Claus Volume 3, by Don Kennedy, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review Kids really do say the darndest things, their honesty and innocence shine through whatever they say. This was a very interesting read, yes we had funny anecdotes from children, bit we also had stories from a man playing Santa Claus, for decades, Christmas in Hawaii, sounds very special.

Cute book. Lol. Leave it up to children to say whatever pops in their mind. Thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of this book in return for my review. Receiving the book in this manner had no bearing on this review.
