I appreciated the character development Nina encountered as the story progressed. The setting was also a fun backdrop for the story! Would recommend!
Nina gave up on her friends and romance three years ago when her relationship came crashing down. Now she mostly hides out in her aunt’s condo in the way suburbs of LA working remotely. When she’s called in to meet Ari, a demanding client, her heart skips a beat. Ari and Nina quickly hit it off and fall for each other, but their relationship places Nina’s position in jeopardy. When the two lovers split, and Nina’s job is caught in the turmoil, Nina begins to wonder if things will ever work out for her.
What a sweet romance story this was! I’m not sure how I would describe this trope – is instant love one? I can never keep track but that fits. This book was fun, and I could consider it a light rom-com. This one wasn’t super steamy, maybe a 2 or 3 on the spice meter, but enough that you got the idea. I really enjoyed how heartfelt this one was and it made me happy to read it. I especially liked how Nina found herself in the book and grew so much as a person.
If you’re looking for a delightfully light and happy queer romance, then check this one out Feb 27th. Thank you so much to @netgalley, and Harper Colins UK – One More Chapter, for this e-arc in exchange for my honest review.
A beautiful novel representing LGBTQIA+. It was wonderful to see Nina reclaim herself and see her relationship with Ari develop and grow. Heartwarming and real.
This was an adorable LGBTQIA+ romance and I loved every word of it. Nina goes through a bad breakup and self destructs her personal life as a result.
I loved watching Nina reclaim her friends and fun in her life as she fell in love with Ari and start living her life more for her.
A gorgeous read, one I couldn’t put down.
Thank you to Amy Spalding, HarperCollins, One More Chapter and NetGalley for an eARC in exchange for an honest review. For Her Consideration comes out February 27, 2023.
For Her Consideration is a heartwarming, romantic, and slightly steamy WLW story set in Hollywood. It follows Nina, who after a brutal breakup three years ago has been just keeping her head above water. She writes e-mails for the stars and if its not exactly what she wanted to do at least she isn't back home in Missouri. One of the stars she writes emails for is Ari, a queer actress who has slight control issues. While getting to know on another they develop a friendship that soon turns into romance. I absolutely loved these two, and I especially loved them together. I do have to say that I did feel more connected to Nina because we are in her POV, but I still thought Ari was such a relatable character. I especially liked how the two grew together, it made me long for a relationship like they had. Even though I loved the romance I think that biggest part of this book is the heartwarming found family that is in this book, I loved Nina's group of friends and just how apparent it was that they loved one another and supported one another. Don't even get me started on Lorna, Nina's aunt, she and her group of friends were funny, warm and I loved them. Overall I thought this was an amazing LGBTQ book, and it will become one of my new comfort books
A fun LGBTQIA+ romance with two great leads. It was an incredible and quick read, I am extremely grateful to the publisher for this ARC. Looking forward to reading more from Amy Spalding.

Nina goes through a bad breakup. Nina has become a recluse and her friends think she might be dead. Her boss calls her in for a meeting with Ari Fox an Oscar nominee. Is Nina going to ruin everything again?
I adored this book. It was queer, thoughtful and full of emotions. It was full of romance and joy.
I feel in love with both Nina and Ari! Both of them feel like real people with flaws but you could tell they worked together!
This book is amazing, I read this book in 2 days and I'm sure it will be reread a lot!
