What Napoleon Could Not Do was a pretty good read. I liked the multiple points of view. I also thought the theme of what is the American Dream was well done. The characters were fleshed out and I liked their different perspectives on what it means to have made it in America.

This book was high on my “to read” list based on the provided summary. Unfortunately, I did not feel enough for the characters to continue reading. Perhaps I will pick it up again later with better interest. I am one who believes there is a right time for matching my mood to certain books, and perhaps now is not that time.
