These accomplished, sharply-observant strips not only hold up decades after their original publication (for whatever that may say about our lack of growth as a nation), but also feel like the best snippets one might overhear when passing by a couple of black women friends. Deserves a place in any comics collection, right along "For Better or For Worse," and "The K Chronicles."

I was excited to be approved for Where I'm Coming From, by Barbara Brandon-Croft. Received the notification and ran to my computer to move this title to my devices. Unfortunately, I ran into major obstacles in getting this work to display, even after following all instructions provided. I'm awarding 3 stars and writing this review to make a record of this issue. I will absolutely be watching the library for this title and look forward to reading!
