I really enjoyed how down to earth and easy to read and understand all of the entries in this devotional are. I feel like I really learned a lot and it enhanced my relationship with God. I'll definitely be looking for more devotionals by Joyce Meyer.
This is a great devotional for a deeper walk, learning to praise in every situation and heart moving.
I love a good daily devotional! A scripture along with an inspiration is the best way for me to start the day. It sets my mood. It assigns a goal for the day. And it helps me keep a positive attitude.
Joyce Meyer is well known for her spiritual guidance and books. So when I saw a new Daily Devotional available for advance reading, I pushed download so fast that I almost broke a nail. Psalms is one of my favorite books of the Bible too. With every read, it is a new interpretation.
Daily Devotions from Psalms provides a powerful and positive mindset for each day of the year. Each entry begins with a scripture from Psalms followed by a brief practical teaching and ends with a short prayer. The format makes it almost impossible to fall behind on reading. For review purposes, I read ahead but intend to revisit my highlights.
This daily devotional is meant for readers to grow closer with God. No doubt you will look forward to starting your day reading selected Psalms and applying to your life. Pssst...tis the holiday season as this will make a great bookish gift!
Happy Belated Pub Day, Joyce Meyer! Daily Devotions from Psalms is now available.

Once again, Meyer has a way of writing for the reader to feel her words come to life. Each passage feels as if she is speaking directly to what is going on in my life. I love how she relates her words to the biblical reading associated with the day. Beautifully written and highly recommend.
Great Yearly Devotions
As a renowned New York Times bestseller, Joyce Meyer, hope and pray that her devotional Book of Psalms will comfort her readers and that we will grow closer to God and understand His love for us in a whole new way as we use each daily devotional in the upcoming year, and for the rest of our life.
Then, Joyce Meyer provides 365 days of heart-warming topics, with scripture and a meditative note corresponding to the scripture presented that is very encouraging.
This is a very good book of devotionals that anyone can use, possibly as a journal to also write your thoughts on the topic for that particular day that may be used as a future reference.
The Psalms are full of emotion. The writers cry out in situations from distress to worship and joy. Meyer hopes we will relate to God as honestly as the psalmists did. No matter what we are feeling, we can tell God about it.
She does not write on every verse of every psalm. After all, it is the biggest book in the Bible. She does cover a year's worth of verses, hitting the major concepts. The devotions are numbered, not dated, so one could begin using this devotional at any time.
One of my favorites was about sleeping from Psalm 4:8. Rather than lie awake in bed thinking about our problems, Meyer suggests we think about the goodness of God. If there is something for which we need to repent, do so. Then we can sleep with a clean conscience. (Day 7)
Meyer encourages us to be totally honest with God. We can vent our feelings just as David did in Psalm 6. We are not to try and impress God with our lofty prayers, but rather cry out with honest feelings. Admit we are not fine. Admit we feel like God has abandoned us. Do so in faith, however.
As is typical with Meyer, she encourages us to always have hope. She includes encouraging words in each devotion. For example, when others criticize or when we feel rejected, know that God loves us and accepts us. She has good teaching on how to deal with feelings such as jealousy and envy, and much more.
This is a good devotional encouraging readers to express their feelings to God and while Meyer gives positive encouragement as well.
I received a complimentary egalley of this book from the publisher. My comments are an independent and honest review.
I wish there were more daily devotionals based on different books o the bible. It really helped me dig deeper and better understand the psalms. I enjoyed the short prayers at the end of each day. I also liked how each day had the scripture printed on the top of the page.
Joyce Meyer's DAILY DEVOTIONS FROM PSALMS - 365 Daily Inspirations is a beautifully written and inspiring collection. A must-read and a perfect way to start your day!
Joyce Meyer is highly respected and my go-to author and favorite for devotionals. I own all her devotionals in hardcover and e-book formats. She is tops! She is one of the leading practical Bible teachers in the world. Highly recommend this one and all her devotionals.
DAILY DEVOTIONS FROM PSALMS also comes in a leather-bound format which I have pre-ordered and cannot wait for its arrival. Comes in e-book, hardcover, and leather-bound formats.
The e-book is an easy-to-read format with 365 days of inspiration from the Book of Psalms. It helps us to know and understand God, teaches us how to worship Him, instructs us in wisdom, it encourages us, and offers practical advice for our everyday life.
I love the Book of Psalms and was excited to see this devotional. The Book of Psalms is the longest book of the Bible, with 150 chapters that were initially written as worship songs or poems during the period from 1000 to 300 BC. King David wrote most of the Book of Psalms.
This powerful book will lend you comfort and help you grow closer to God and understand him in our busy lives with something to look forward to every day (whether your devotional time is in the morning or evening). We all need spiritual guidance and growth in our daily journey.
Each day features a topic, a short scripture verse, an essential message from Joyce, and a prayer. A simple format and easy to understand.
"No matter what you face in life, God wants to be involved in it. He wants you to tell him how you feel, and he wants to help you."
A powerful and positive mindset each day of the year with uplifting insights and motivational Bible verses.
A note from Joyce
I hope this devotional will help you relate to God as the psalmists did and that you will share your heart with Him freely and in new ways while you go through it and for the rest of your life. As you do, I believe you will discover fresh and wonderful qualities about Him and be strengthened in your faith and trust in Him. No matter what you face in life, God wants to be involved in it. He wants you to tell Him how you feel, and He wants to help you.
I pray that the Book of Psalms will comfort you and that you will grow closer to God and understand His love for you in a whole new way as this devotional leads you through the year ahead of you.
A special thank you to #FaithWords and #NetGalley for a gifted eARC in exchange for an honest review. I also ordered the leather-bound copy.

Joyce Meyer has the ability to write about God’s word with practicality and encouragement. I’ve read a variety of Ms. Meyer’s publications and I’ve come away from each and every one with a better understanding of the Bible and the scriptures. Straightforward, easily understood and motivating is what you’ll find in Joyce’s words. This book is set up as a 365-day daily devotional so I’ve obviously not finished reading all 365 days yet, but what I’ve read and enjoyed so far is typical Joyce Meyer – uplifting, encouraging and inspirational just like the woman herself. I look forward to reading and re-reading this Daily Devotional for years to come because I always gain more insight each time I read her words. I'm grateful to have been given an opportunity to read an early copy of this book through NetGalley.
Joyce Meyer is, as always, inspirational. I love how Meyer draws on relatable experiences in this travel through the Psalms (a wonderful and helpful book). Well worth the read as a devotional.
