This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher. Historical fiction…although this book is fiction, it reads like nonfiction. The characters come alive on the pages as the reader is transported back in time. A talented author…a cannot put down book. This would make a great movie. Enjoy the setting and the characters. Enjoy the story… curl up a comfy chair with a cozy blanket…get lost in the lives of these characters and read about their time in history.
So good! Full of suspense all way through, with a good characterisation. Looking for the traitor amid the resistance, I was looking for him/her with the rest of them up to the conclusion! I had loved the first book (The Watchmaker's Daughter), and now can't wait for book 3. Highly recommended!
I received an ARC of this novel from NetGalley and I am leaving voluntarily an honest review.
