Book three in The Unexpected Love series delves into the captivating love story of Brooke and Gavin. With a compelling storyline that keeps readers eagerly turning pages, this book maintains a firm grip on your attention. What begins as a simple life soon becomes complicated with the introduction of romance, sizzling chemistry, bouts of jealousy, and the meddling of well-meaning but interfering families. It's a heartwarming journey from friends to lovers.
Brooke and Graham have shared a connection for three years, stemming from the marriage of Brooke's brother to Graham's sister. Despite their undeniable chemistry, they had refrained from acting upon it. Brooke, still grappling with the loss of her husband, was on a journey toward independence, often finding solace in her art. However, as their families intensify their matchmaking efforts, Brooke and Gavin devise a plan to thwart them—they decide to embark on a fake relationship for two weeks.
The story unfolds brilliantly, with Brooke and Gavin initially entering into a fake relationship but ultimately discovering a genuine connection, thanks in part to their well-meaning but slightly meddlesome family members. Overcoming past obstacles, they pave the way for a sweet and loving future together. While this is the first book in the series I've read, I'm now excited to explore the stories of the sisters.
In summary, this is a fantastic read that takes you on a journey from pretence to authentic love. It's a heartwarming and engaging story that leaves you eager to discover more about the sisters' tales in the series.
This is a good book. The two main characters are Brooke and Gavin. Brooke’s brother is married to Gavin’s sister. They meet at Brooke’s brother farm. There is an instant attraction. They decide to be fake dating to get their family to leave them alone. They can not stay away from each other. They each have trust issues but together they work them out and fall in love.
Brooke and Gavin are friend but when their family started to play Cupid to get them together, both of them decided to play pretend to be involved to each other to get their family off their back. Only it turns out they fall in love with each other without letting each other know.
This book has a great storyline that make you turning the pages and kept your attention throughout the book. Love both Brooke and Gavin, him being sweet and loving and Brooke, being so independent and stubborn in her own way. She know want she want. Overall it is a delightful read to me.

Slow start but I fell into the story, kept turning pages. Brooke and Gavin were wounded in different ways by their pasts. Together, they came alive. I enjoyed Brooke's artistic/creative personality. Her love for her family gave her the strength she needed to move on. Gavin felt guilty because of his past, but with the help of Brooke and his sisters nudging him, he realized his own true worth. There were laughs, sighs, and tears as I read. I loved the story and recommend it.
I received a copy of this story through Xpresso Tours, and this is my unsolicited review.
A great read! Brooke and Gavin start with a fake relationship but end up with the real deal after some unwanted help from their well meaning but slightly meddlesome family. After overcoming past issues, they find a sweet, loving future. This is the first book in the series I have read but excited to read the sisters stories now. I hope Eleanor the mastermind behind all the matchmaking ends up with her own story as well.
