I LOVED this! I flew through this book? I could not put it down and it's got some spice in it which I loved and I was so excited. That I'd already had books 2 and 3 already to go so I instantly started. I finished these all within probably about 48 hours they were so good and now. It's one of those series that live rent free in my mind.

Thank you NetGalley and Sourcebooks Bloom Books for my copy of American Queen.
This book. Where do I even begin?
Greer and Ash. The things that fairy tales are made of. Greer’s first kisses to two men who become the most powerful in the country. They do whatever it takes to find their love, but somehow she has to choose between them.
I was so sucked into this story I didn’t know how to get out of it. I felt Greer’s turmoil as well as Ash and Embry’s. There were points where I felt like I was holding my breath.
The sex scenes are fire. So hot they’re unmatched. I couldn’t get enough.
This was my first Sierra Simone book was not my last.

This one has actually been on my TBR for quite some time. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it available on NetGalley and I think them for the opportunity to read this book. This book was everything I had hoped it would be. Sierra Simone writes in a style that is hard to come by. Most books like that even when they are very good, are pure smut with very little storyline, and very little character development. But Simone gives it all to us. Strong plot, strong characters, fabulous writing, and delicious filth. Would 100% recommend. I absolutely can’t wait to read the other two books in this series.

I wanted to like this book. The poly part of the relationship was written really well. However I could not get over the fact that this was a 20 year old man who fell for a teenage girl and got off when she sent him extremely sexual emails. It was to big of a red flag for me.

Sierra Simone has a new fan and this book was it for me. I had to read it and couldn't put it down. Must read and hands down good story.

With most books I feel like I can guess where the story is going, but Sierra Simone always throws me for a loop (and gives me a little anxiety)! This book was no exception. American Queen flips between the past and present, but in the present is told mostly by Greer. There are lots of sexy scenes including MF, MM, and MMF. The book does also contain some BDSM aspects. American Queen ends on a cliff hanger, so be prepared to start the second book! I enjoyed this story and will be finishing the series.
Thank you Netgalley and Sourcebook Bloom Books for the chance to read this story in exchange for an honest review.

Wow! I am just in awe. I couldn’t put this book down once I started reading it. I’ve never really read a book that was MMF, so that was a bit of a change for me. This book is SPICY. I was not prepared for the level of spice. 👏🏼 great job! I feel like Greer’s personality represented mine and the way she felt about things made me picture myself in certain situations. Can’t wait to read the next one!

I feel like I'm in the minority here for sure, but I didn't love this book. I actually had to skip the last half to get to the end just to see how it ended. Nothing against the author, as it was well written, but I just didn't connect to the plot.
I found Greer to be a pushover and quite boring to be honest. I had a hard time getting over how quickly she jumped into these relationships. Also, Maxen was just cruel, I didn't like his character at all.
I had more to say but didn't want to spoil anything for anyone as I know many people love this book and probably more will love it! It just wasn't for me.
Thank you to NetGalley and Bloom Books for the chance to read this ARC for an honest review.

So I did not know what genre this book was going to be, I only read the brief synopsis. I saw the popularity of this book on social media, and I was not prepared for what it would entail. Unfortunately, this genre is not one I enjoy. I do see the appeal to others, but I am not into hardcore smut, I'm a fan of more fun and breezy contemporary. Just not my cup of tea. The author is a really god writer, and I liked how the Legend of King Arthur was tied in. I received an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

great start to the series! I binged it in 3 days. this is my first mafia romance and im mad I haven't read more of these. my new favorites.

For me this was a slightly unusual departure from the other books I have read from Sierra, yet no more beautiful and somewhat dark. Her characters took a life of their own and kept me enthralled from page one till the end. This one is definitely one that should be read and continue through to the end of the trilogy.

[Thanks Netgalley and the publisher for the ebook. This review is my honest opinion but just another opinion, you should read this book and judge it by yourself]
Intriguing and fascinating. This is a modern retelling of the Arthurian legend with USA president (Ash), his vicepresident (Embry) and a blonde (greer) that drove Ash crazy the first time they met. Life had it way and they couldn't be together until ten years later with Embry misteriously entangled with them both.
At first I was driven with Ash and Green story but I must confess Embry stole my attention more and more everytime. Both male characters grow with the story development but Greer seems flatter and weaker once we know what's going on between Ash and Embry.
Overall, the writing is addictive, the sex is great (very hot!) and the cliffhanger makes you to read the next one inmediatly

OMG. Such an amazing start to the series. Sierra Simone writes some of the most beautiful stories and this is no different. I would gladly serve the president :)
If you haven't picked up this series or anything by Sierra Simone, this is your sign to do so. The stories she writes are just perfection.

American Queen by Sierra Simone was truly a wild ride from start to finish. I went into this book without reading the synopsis for it at all, and I was not disappointed by it at all.
The book starts off with Greer-a bride-walking down the aisle to get married and you soon find out that there is a lot more going on than initially meets the eye.
There are so many twists and turns with Greer (the daughter of a former vice-president) Ash (the current American president) and Embry (the current American vice-president). There wasn’t a single second of boredom in the whole book, for me. One second you have lust, then there is love, then there is political backstabbing and betrayal. And the spice through the whole book is pretty great. I cannot wait to see what the rest of the series brings, because the ending definitely left me needing the rest.

Sierra Simone is a queen and she can do no wrong.
Now that that is out of the way, I can say that I just love this series. This was the first truly SPICY book I ever read, and the first ménage. It's such a unique way to do a King Arthur retelling. Normally, I hate books with even a hint of politics in them, but this book is just so bonkers and fantastic. It's smut, but it's well written and interesting smut.

This book was amazing! It is a political romance with missed chances, second chances, and so much more. AND if you're here for the spice, don't worry. There's plenty of that as well. I like the character development and how we slowly learn more about the characters. The ending will def leave you wanting for more.

I have enjoyed everything I have read by Sierra Simone and this is no exception. The story is compelling and it is hard to not love our lead characters. This book does end in a cliff hanger so prepare yourself to get the entire series so you will not have to wait..

This was my first Sierra Simone and the book did not disappoint at all!! The book is red hot spicy, I screamed and squirmed my way all throughout reading it. Though I really don't like to picture Greer, a minor during their first encounter - I mean we could have her at least 18, that's all I'm saying. Other than that, you guys are in for a wild ride!!

When I first requested I didn’t realize it was published in 2016 and that it’s a 3 book series. Now that being said I absolutely need to buy the next two books and read them asap. My mind is dijdhfhdiqoodnbehehxjioob. I just can’t even put words to it right now.

American Queen is the first in the New Camelot series.. As each of the 3 books ends in a cliffhanger, it's best to have all 3 books lined up at the start. This book captured my attention from beginning to end. It's a super hot MMF with light BDSM, has drama and intrigue and plot twists galore. Definitely a must-read series.
