I’m quite disappointed with this book. Nearly the first 40-50% of the book was fluff that could’ve been trimmed or cut all together. I found myself quite bored. Once the story did finally pick up, it was completely rushed and crammed into the last 15% of the book which is disappointing; with no true resolution. I wouldn’t recommend this book.

Wow! This book was amazing. I don't know which character was the worst- Ciara, Lauren, or Mishti. The sign of a great author is when you feel like you're right in the story. This is how I felt with Dirty Laundry.
Ciara, the influencer was a piece of work. Everything was about looking good for social media. I actually felt sorry for her husband and kids. I initally felt bad for Lauren, but I soon realized she brought alot of trouble on herself. Her relationship with Sean was horrible. Mishti was the most sympathetic. I just wanted her to get a backbone and stand up for herself.
I like the way this story was told started with the ending and working backwards. I couldn't stop reading this book!

I couldn’t put this book down! I’m so glad I found this one. It was an excellent addition to my summer mystery reading.

The plot was current and culturally relevant. A mom and wife who has the “perfect” life, at least according to her Instagram account, is the center of this story. Her circle of mom friends and neighbors in the small Irish village have small and large interactions with a variety of repercussions. I thought Bose did a great job exploring the dynamics between couples who are friends and neighbors; couples who are married and those who are not; and groups of mom friends who interact frequently on social media. It read so true to life. This could happen down the street from me here in America.

I liked that there are diverse characters, but not for diversity’s sake. Mishti and Lauren were interesting characters in their own right and I liked getting glimpses of their stories as they intersected with Ciara. I also felt like I was in that small, isolated village in Ireland while I was reading this book.

Highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys mysteries and thrillers! Fresh, dark, suspenseful. How Bose brings it all full circle is excellent!

Dirty Laundry by Disha Bose was a really great book with some unexpected twists and turns.
A great debut by Bose. A story of love, lies and deceit.
A cast of characters who I enjoyed getting to know and who were well-defined. They definitely made this book fun and exciting.
I loved the writing style and look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
