Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book! The title and this beautiful cover drew me in and i was excited to read this book! I will be recommending this book to others for readers advisory.
Great and Small Bible Animals is a very cute book geared toward toddlers. On each page of Great and Small Bible Animals is a Bible Verse that corresponds with the animals on the page. The book is also interactive and has flaps in the book so that you can see the animal doing something fun, like jumping, etc. I think this is a sweet book that can be read at any time. I highly recommend this book. Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book. My review is also on Goodreads.

Why Should I Read This Book To My Child?
Like most children's books, this is a very simple presentation for kids to listen to. The book has the simple pattern of a short Scripture that is connected to the animal pictured followed by an openable flap that shows the animal sound it makes. Even children too young to read will participate and enjoy making the animal sounds together. The book is beautifully illustrated in calming colours - making this an easy choice for bedtime routines, or reset times for kids who need a change of pace.
What Will This Book Challenge My Child To Do?
Given how young the intended audience is for this book, it is hard to gauge a specific challenge this will invite your kids to accomplish. However, I believe that early engagement with Scripture is a good and healthy part of faith development and exposure. Kids will begin to understand that Scripture has a lot to say about the world around them, and feel like it is an approachable text.
Thank you NetGalley and B&H Publishing Group (B&H Books, Holman Bibles, B&H Español, and B&H Kids), B&H Kids for accepting my request to read and review Great and Small Bible Animals.

Just in time for Easter. This softly -- beautifully illustrated book showcases animals mentioned in the Bible. A scripture is applied to the animals.
There are a few sounds; a cow moos, etc., and with guidance a young child could learn while engaging with scriptures.
I would gift this.
A sweet, simple story to engage young readers. This book features lovely, gentle illustrations and animal-focused Bible verses. Young children will enjoy the animal sounds and flaps to lift. Some of the verses also teach important spiritual concepts that caregivers can discuss with children.
One of my all time favorite books for small children!! Can't wait to purchase a physical copy & I plan to buy several copies to give as Baby Shower gifts.
Beautiful illustrations of many different animals. Kids will enjoy the lifting the flaps to see the animals sounds. I love the Bible verses that are quoted for each animal. Really well done, we need more books like this!

This board book is an adorable gift for a child, and a wonderful book for a grandparent or caretaker readaloud. The concept and execution of this product is exceptionally well done. Children will love making the animal sounds as the flaps are opened to reveal the baby animals.
This product is highly recommended.
With many scriptures references God's creation, this makes a great flip book. With scripture like the following "Those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles. Isaiah 40:31. It is a great reminder for parents and children alike to be reminded of God's goodness and to familiarize yourself with scriptures. The illustrations give a wonderful image of scripture.
A special thank you to B&H Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.
Now and again, I come across a picture book or in this case a board book that is just so beautiful and beyond amazing from the illustrations that just make you want to hug the person next to you which is your child or baby that you are reading this to. It also wants to make you tell the next person about it as this is one book that every new Christian parent of a newborn or a toddler needs to have on their bookshelf. This book is a quick read and designed for the younger crowd. It has on one page a bible verse relating to an animal e.g lions, donkeys, horses, etc, and then on the next page an opportunity for you to ask what noise the animal makes and then as we all know children love to lift flaps - the child will lift the flap and the animal's noise is revealed which can get the child excited especially if they get it correct. You can even ask the children to make the sound themselves. This book is also a great introduction to bible verses for children and if you have an older sibling 7-10 years, you could make it a fun activity and see if the sibling can memorise the bible verses and make it a game or a bible reward activity. I remember doing a similar activity at when I was about 11-12 years and younger at bible camps and I also for five+ years participated in the Maori Postal Sunday School correspondence activities. This board book is perfect for newborns and toddlers up to age 5 years old.
Each page shows an animal, a verse where that animal appears in the Bible, and a flap that reveals what sound that animal makes. It would be a great primer for animal sounds. The illustrations are cute, but feel a little outdated to me.
