This is a cute idea for an interactive book, but it definitely only gets one use with the snipping and gluing.
Awesome little activity book that can keep children busy while stuck indoors. This would be a great book for rainy day activities and to practice cutting with scissors, gluing and following instructions. Thank you NetGalley for the chance to read this book in exchange for my honest feedback!
Perfect for after storytime engagement of grownup and little, like the variety animals and activities, and looking forward to this one
"This giraffe needs spots! The pizza needs toppings! It’s a snip and glue activity book perfect for little hands just learning to use scissors and glue. Grab scissors, cut on the dotted lines, paste or glue on the bite-size cut-outs, and voilà!"
" Paper Stories: A Snip and Glue Activity Book" is a creative, bright activity book for kids who are learning to use scissors and want more practice exercising that skill.
Each spread includes an incomplete kid-friendly scene plus a strip of spot illustrations and shapes marked with dotted lines for cutting to complete the scene. Kids can cut along the dotted lines and paste the cutouts wherever they fancy. How fun is that? They also can cut more precisely to the images if they so desire. Either way, a masterpiece is born!
This activity book will help kids develop fine motor skills and inspire kids to create art from what they have on hand.
I love the vibrant colours and the innovative way to develop manual dexterity (the coordination of small muscles in movement with eyes, hands and fingers). I love the whole concept and highly, highly recommend this educational and fun book.
What a fun activity with lots of things kids can do to help work on their motor skills such as cutting and pasting. I love the colorful art and how it encourages children to help finish the picture. This will definitely help them with expressing their creativity in a fun way.
I thought that this was an excellent book and the illustrations were brilliant!
The illustrations really worked and I thought that they were nice, bright and cute
I love the idea behind the book helping to improve the scissor skills and fine motor skills of children, my daughter had to learn similar when she was four at school and this is way more fun!
It is 5 stars from me for this one, very highly recommended!
