I enjoyed this book much more than the previous none in the series. Theodosia still has her reckless moments, but they were fewer in this book. Delaine’s sister is murdered right before a fashion show. There are quite a few possible suspects and red herrings thrown in. I didn’t guess the murderer until that person was revealed. I just wish that the reason for the murder was better explained.
I received an ARC copy from NetGalley.

Theo finds herself catering a lemon tea during fashion week in Charleston. Everything is going quite well until a body turns up face first in the lemon curd, and no clues as to why. Laura Childs has given us another fun mystery in this series.

Another fun installation in the tea shop series by Laura Childs.
Theo, Drayton and Haley find themselves wrapped up in another murder investigation, and do what's needed until the mystery is solved.
I enjoyed the book and it's always interesting to read about the different tea themes they come up with.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for selecting me to read an advanced copy of this book.

This was a cute book and I really enjoyed all the time spent in the tea shop serving tea and doing events since it just made me want to go to a tea room. Tea shop owner Theodosia Browning is our amateur sleuth along with her tea sommelier Drayton Conneley and this time a fashion designer is murdered during one of her tea events and she is tasked by murdered woman’s daughter to help find the killer. She goes around investigating against the advice of her boyfriend who is a cop since it turns out it could involve drugs which is super dangerous for civilians to poke their noses in. The killer was definitely not even on my radar and overall I enjoyed the plot and the characters especially. I haven’t read any other books in this series and I feel like I wasn’t lost at any point since they didn’t really reference any past cases.

Thanks to Berkley and Netgalley for the complimentary copy of this book in e-book form. All opinions in this review are my own.

I love this series! The tea shop setting is great and I'd love to visit a place like this. The mystery kept me guessing and I look forward to the next book.

Nice to take a break with a visit to Charleston during Fashion Week with a lemon tea party set in a lemon orchard. Unfortunately, Theodosia is faced with a murder during said party, and she, true to form, sets out to solve the murder. Many recipes follow!

No matter what is happening in my life, I can always be comforted by a trip to Theodosia Browning’s Charleston tea shop. This time out, it’s Fashion Week in Charleston, and Theodosia and Drayton are laying out a limon tea even as a fashion designer is murdered. Of course, our intrepid heroine offer to step in and help the murdered designer’s daughter find the culprit and see that justice, along with some tasty tea and scone, is served. Don’t question the number of murders revolving around the Indigo Tea Shop, just go with the flow and enjoy
