Thank you so much to the publisher for sending me a copy of this book! I really enjoyed this book and it gave me some great inspiration!
This is a cute and well organized book that will be perfect for my students, but as an adult, I absolutely loved it as well! Thank you, NetGalley, for the ARC!
I know the audience of this book isn’t exactly in my age range, but I needed this book. I’m one of those people that love doodling, but don’t know what to doodle, and whatever i do doodle, is never cute enough. But now, thanks to this book, I’ve got a long list of things (101 to be precise) that I can confidently say that I can draw.
Easy to follow, has a lot of variety, and just very cute. Can see myself gifting this to many.

An adorable book perfect for anyone that loves to draw or even just doodle! The illustrations/drawings are so cute and the step by step instructions are perfect for beginners while still helpful for those who already can draw but need a little help. Plus, the book helps inspire creativity! I love this book and purchased a copy for my daughter who loves to doodle cute little characters.
Thank you to NetGalley, the author and Quarto Publishing Group for providing me with an ARC copy.

Drawing is fun, and the step-by-step guided instruction for these simple figures are easy enough for even young children. I plan on using these as directed drawings in the elementary classrooms where I teach. For adults who enjoy whimsy and kawaii cuteness, the wide variety of objects and creatures will inspire creativity. Basic information on color, patterns, materials, and expressions are included in the introduction, but the majority of the book is full of fun things to draw! From ordinary objects around the house, to food, to animals, to imaginary creatures, the artist makes anything "super cute!"

As a BEGINNER artist (heavy emphasis on the "beginner" adjective ...) with an iPad, Apple Pencil, Procreate, and a dream to create cute designs, this book was PERFECT! I needed the step-by-step instructions and the use of simple shapes to help me create the kawaii designs I've been wanting to do for years. It is accessible and easy to use. I still use this book weekly as a reference to inspire my new designs. This book might not be suitable to an experienced designer/drawer; however, it was great for me!
Thank you NetGalley and Walter Foster Publishing for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.
Super cute and definitely a great way to introduce drawing techniques to a large audience. I really enjoyed the examples and overall thought the book was great.
The cover of 101 Super Cute Things to Draw immediately “draws” you in with 12 adorable and colorful little pictures, such as an ice cream cone, balloons, a fox, and an umbrella, that you can learn to draw. All or nearly all of the pictures in the book are Kawaii and they all have faces, including inanimate objects.
I have always wanted to learn to draw but never found the right book to get me started. This book might be what I’ve been looking for because the pictures are all interesting and cute. Bergstram makes pancakes, books, an alien and a cactus cute as can be so that all of her drawings are appealing and inviting.
After a brief discussion of tools, tips, color theory and texture, Bergstram begins with Everyday Objects (20 of them), followed by Food (30), Nature (20), Animals (21), and finally Fantasy Creatures (10). Several examples of each category are: Everyday Objects - teapot, socks, camera; Food - pizza slice, sushi roll, croissant; Nature - spider, jade plant, dragonfly; Animals - red panda, koala, llama; Fantasy Creatures - pegasus, fairy, unicorn.
Bergstram presents easy to follow instructions with six visual steps for all 101 things to draw. It’s easy to see what to add to the drawing in each step as it is presented in red and what one has already drawn is shown in black. She also makes it easy to color your drawings because the sixth step is in her chosen colors.
This is a fun book for anyone who wants to learn to draw, both kids and adults. I’ve tried a few of the everyday items and am eager to continue with the food and animals categories. Thank you to Quarto Publishing Group - Walter Foster Publishing and NetGalley for a temporary advance reader copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

Holy wow this is how-to book is adorable. 101 Super Cute Things to Draw is so easy to follow along with and the entire thing is so cute. There are so many different things to draw from food to animals to fantasy creatures! Love this so much and will definitely continue using this book as a guide to drawing cute things!
I received an electronic version in exchange for an honest review.
This is an adorable little book and quite possibly one of the simplest "how to draw" books I've ever read. You won't be overwhelmed right in the beginning with a seemingly impossible list of tools and techniques, but just enough to get you started, followed by 101 tiny sketches with the steps clearly outlined.
Awesome book for a budding artist!
If you’re looking for a cute book on drawing, especially for kids, this is the book for you! The opening of the book includes information on tools and simple techniques before diving straight into how to draw different things. It covers everything from everyday objects, such as books, to adorable animals. The instructions are super simple and easy to follow, making it a great gift for elementary school age kids who like to draw. It’s also perfect for anyone who says they can’t draw. It’s simple, cute, and slowly introduces its readers to more complex shapes while encouraging them to play with colors, patterns, and different faces. It’s not a super serious drawing book, so it’s perfect for anyone so they can have fun and learn to take on more complex shapes without becoming overwhelmed.
This was super cute. We are picking this up at the shop. I loved how easy it was to follow and how adorable the art came out.
This is good for all ages which is something else I really love about it.
This is an amazing art book, which is full of tips and techniques which will help children and adults to draw really cute and quirky illustrations. The book is jam packed full of information and really beautiful drawings, which my daughter and I loved. We were so excited to read through the book, and we learned a lot of things, such as how to draw animals, mythical creatures, foods, natural items, everyday objects and more. The book goes into detail about art instruction, tools and materials needed, how to combine colours and how to create patterns. My daughter especially loved the animals and drawing the patterns. We both loved the book so much and we recommend it highly!
Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book.
Loved this. Always found it hard to look at a blank sheet of paper & start drawing, even when I managed to get something on paper it wasn't good. Learned so much and a blank sheet is now an invitation to start doodling. Highly recommended
These super cute drawings are very simple. I was able to fly through them using a gel pen. This wasn't the best choice, but it gave me a really good feel for each drawing. Even with the inability to erase or add colors appropriately, each of my sketches was easy to identify & adorable.
With proper time & tools, these can be created to be incredibly similar to what is shown in the book. They are a heck of a lot of fun.
I do wish I had a better format other than my phone to view it on though. I think it would have made for a much better experience. I'll probably avoid books that don't offer additional viewing options in the future.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for giving me an advanced copy, I have really enjoyed dipping into this little art book.
I just simply love this!
Everyone needs cute things from time to time and believe me when I say that people are usually impressed when you draw something cute and well.
Drawing is a beautiful way to start a conversation, to have fun and to decorate everything you want.
This book has lots of cute characters and things.
Just start to draw! 1...2...3 Let's go! ♥
I have always wanted to be able to draw. I have given up on it because I can't prioritize learning how to draw, however this kind of books make it easy for me to work on doing some easy things and feeling like it truly has paid off. I loved all of the tiny things I saw on this book, and got to draw a couple dozens of them. It was super easy to follow. I 100% recommend it.
This book is beyond adorable! The instructions were easy to follow and fun things to draw. My 9 yr old niece and I had a blast with this book and would definitely recommend it for avid doodlers.
This was adorable!! I love those little books of drawing cute things and animals. There are so many of those books out there and I love all of them. This was no exception. It's super cute and colourful and easy to follow. Definitely for every age, whether you're an artist or not. It's easy to follow for everyone.
