This is a good book. The two main characters are Cassie and Trent. Cassie owns a diner on an island near Seattle. Trent is a lawyer from Los Angeles and is sailing up the coast to make some life decisions. When he docks his boat the first place he goes to is Cassie’s diner. She falls off a ladder and Trent catches her. There is an instant attraction. He rents a room and helps around the diner. They each have issues but together they work them out and fall in love.

The Billionaire's Deception, by Shawna Delacorte, is a typical romance novel, with love, amorous scenes, and all the feel-goods. While it is not thought-provoking, it is definitely an entertaining book to spend a quiet afternoon with. Thanks, NetGalley and the publisher, for providing me with an ARC ebook in exchange for my honest review.

An engaging romance. A nice variety of characters. While things did occur as expected, it was enjoyable to watch it all play out. Some nice additions, too. I did skip over the amorous activities. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley. My review is voluntary.

Starting over…lies and deceit…love and romance…secrets…the two man characters leave their lives behind for a new place…what will happen? This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. This novel would make a good television series. It is character driven with a setting that adds to the story. Will they fall in love forever? Will they distrust each other? Will they forgive the deceit? What will happen next? Questions answered by this talented author. Enjoy…

Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. Cassie decided to move to Seattle after her messy divorce. She inherited a restaurant from her aunt. Ibe day she meets Trent and she begins to open up to him. This book was well written and a joy to read.
