This book has a sweet quality which pulls at your heart. It is an easy flowing book. H&H make a good couple and have a great connection. I liked it and it was enjoyable. This story comprised of former military "cowboy" who take care of a baby for a fellow team member. It showed how first impressions are not always correct. The men take care of the baby until the baby's mother returns for the baby and gets snowed in. I liked the supporting characters. No spoilers: I would recommend this book and will be looking forward if the author decides to add to this story as a series on the other military cowboys.

The first book in the Three Cowboys series, a story that held my interest throughout. Jen leaves Sky her infant son with his dad Dave so she can finish out her six month military mission. Dave takes Sky to his friends Luke, Max and Noah at their Ranch and tells lies about Jen and leaves Sky there. When Jen gets back she is frantic as she can not find either Dave or Sky, she then travels to Dave's Mother in Florida. When Jen finally finds out where Sky is she rushes to him but does not get a good welcome because of Dave's lies. I enjoyed seeing this story come together. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

An enjoyable read that embodied family, friendship, and romance. Jen shared an ill fated relationship with a man who turned out to be highly self centered. Upon her return, she is compelled to traverse the country to find her beloved baby boy. Noah, Max and Luke didn't expect an old military associate to turn up unexpectedly with a baby in tow on their doorstep. Even more surprising is that he has left the baby behind!
Jen's delayed reunion with her baby comes with angst, misunderstanding and revelations. The story flows well, building on the unexpected attraction between Noah and Jen. Their journey to HEA is at times emotional and tense.
The book serves as a good introduction to stories featuring the other two retired military men turned cowboys.

This is a Cowboy Romance, and this is the first book in the Three Cowboys series. The three guys in this book who are now cowboys, but they were Marines. I really love the storyline, and I loved three big men taking care of a little baby. I enjoyed the romance in this book, and there were some steamy parts in it. There was some action, but there were some funny and cute times in this book too. The ending was so great and I loved every moment of this book. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Zebra Books) or author (Kate Pearce) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.

This is the first book in a new series about three former Marines. Luke Nilsen has returned home to his family's ranch in northern California and brought along two Marine buddies, Noah and Max, who work with him on the ranch. Another buddy, Dave, shows up one day at the ranch with his baby son, Sky. He said that he has come to the area to meet up with and transfer Sky to his mother, Jen Rossi, who has been on deployment and who he shares parenting duties with. After Dave arrives at the ranch, he disappears in the middle of the night and leaves Sky with Luke, Noah, and Max. The three cowboys do the best they can taking care of Sky and Noah becomes especially attached to him.

Jen is looking forward to being reunited with Sky, but her return gets delayed. Once she does get stateside, she ends up being on a wild goose chase to find Sky, because Dave will not communicate with her and let her know where he is at. Eventually she finds out and makes her way to the Nilsen ranch to retrieve Sky. A blizzard hits and she gets stranded at the ranch with the cowboys and Sky. Dave has told his buddies that Jen is an irresponsible mother, but they soon realize it is the other way around. Jen and Noah are attracted, but they are both dealing with issues from their past that makes it hard for them to trust, commit, and share their feelings.

I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the other books in the series. Kate Pearce does a great job with the contemporary western romance genre.

This is the first book in a new the new series Three Cowboys. This is a wonderful book with interesting characters and an unusual plot. The premise is not a new one, but the characters are definitely different than their predecessors. The characters are well developed and interesting, the pace is wonderful. I really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it.

Three Cowboys and a Baby by Kate Pierce
Contemporary romance.
Baby Sky is left in the care of Noah, Max, and Luke by an ex military buddy. They intend to contact social services but decide to wait for the mother to pick up Sky.
Jen was supposed to pick up her baby when she got off the military boat, but her ex didn’t show. She travels cross country by bus, twice, to find her child. Noah is not happy when Jen finally shows up at the ranch. He thinks she is irresponsible and just as much to blame as is the missing father.

Time together snowed in and a charming baby have Noah and Jen getting to know each other.
This take-off of a similar named movie is cute. Noah has plenty of experience and does the bulk of the day-to-day baby duty and the other two men are amusing in their trying to help. I found it interesting that Jen immediately knew the ranch work would have been behind with Noah caring for the baby. It was the baby talk and teething bone that totally won me over.
Adorable with a few steamy scenes, it’s a great romance.

What a fantastic start to a new series!!! I adored "Three Men and a Baby" and this book fell right in line with the movie as to be enchanting.

Dave a former Marine team mate visits three of his friends with his young son. The next day Dave has flown the coop leaving young Sky behind. Dave didn't leave a very good impression of the baby's mama with the three cowboys (especially Noah!) Really what kind of a woman leaves her infant for months at a time?

Jen arrives in San Diego and basically spends weeks criss-crossing the country trying to track down her ex and her baby! Fortunately Jen is able to track down Dave (who is now in Africa) and told where he left Sky. She arrives in town as the worst storm in a long time hits. She walks 4 miles in the snow to get to her son only to have a man greet her with a rifle pointed at her head!

Jen and Noah really shoot sparks off of each other. Can Noah look past Jen's absence in the little one's life? What kind of job does Jen have that she has to leave her young son? Can Jen and Noah survive the storm to come together as a couple? What about Jen's job where she travels all the time? Those questions and more come up in this tale. Plus the reveal as to the unusual name of Sky and his middle name for the baby (which was funny and made my kinda groan as well!)

This is a sexy read. I can't wait to see who is next in line for the second book in this series!

Kate Pearce is a go-to author for me when it comes to fun banter, sexy cowboys, and strong women keeping everyone in line. My interest was piqued by these three cowboys right from the beginning. They are best friends but don’t necessarily always get along. Although this is only the first book in the series, it’s obvious they all have a lot of baggage they have to deal with. This book did its job as the first of the series to suck me into this world and leave me wanting to know more.

It’s plain from the moment he shows up at their door that their military “friend” is flighty and unreliable. That’s why I took it all with a grain of salt when he spoke poorly of the baby’s mom. But still, I kept thinking that mama better have a darn good reason for being MIA from her child’s life. I’m not excusing the father, as I said he’s not a good person. But knowing mama was going to be the MFC I needed to be able to like her. No worries, once it’s all laid out she has a very good reason for leaving her child with his useless daddy for so long.

We’re introduced to all three cowboys, they live and work together after all. But this story is about Noah’s HEA. Even getting his inner thoughts, Noah is one tough nut to crack. He has a good work ethic, strong morals, and a heart of gold, but he doesn’t like anyone else to acknowledge those things. And he wants nothing to do with kids, families, or white picket fences. He has good reasons, but sometimes the reasons we have when we’re new adults and barely out of our teens aren’t valid many moons later when we’ve lived a good life and still have a lot of life left for living. Noah’s just so stuck in his beliefs about who he is and what he wants he fights his feelings every step of the way.

Not to mention, Noah is so honorable and so careful to not be inappropriate to Jen, who is snowed in with the cowboys and her baby Sky, that he comes across as rude and aloof instead of respectful and ethical. His yearning for Jen muddled with his need to “do the right thing” gives poor Jen whiplash; she has a future and a young child to worry about. She does not have time for games, especially after how she was treated by Sky’s father.

I really enjoyed this story, although I would have loved seeing Jen and Noah get more alone time to establish their bond. While they are good together and Noah has a great connection to both Jen and Sky, I didn’t get the sparks I was anticipating with this author. I got enough to keep me turning the pages. Plus, I’m now invested in seeing the other two cowboys find their HEAs.

Three Cowboys and a Baby by Kate Pearce is a cute, but predictable cowboy yarn about a ne’er-do-well who ditches his baby with friends after telling a somewhat exaggerated tale about the baby’s mother. Meanwhile, the mother, Jen, is searching frantically for her baby, traveling from San Diego to San Jose to Florida and back again, only to be met with a blizzard, through which she walks two miles to be greeted by a shotgun in her face. Yes, all part of the story. She does, however, find her son, well taken care of, with three men trying to run a ranch and take care of him. They quickly realize that much of what Dave had told them was fiction and that, as usual, he was the flakey one. But, as the storm continues and things happen at the ranch, they find themselves grateful that Jen is there to help.

The four men in the story are all very different personalities and written so well one can visualize them as one reads the story. Of course, it is romance and Jen falls for one of them but vows to stick by the agreement they had made at the outset, which eventually leads to her leaving the ranch, with her son. There is a lot of introspection, but also some legitimate ranch problems which have to be dealt with. The characters are good; the plot is solid, if somewhat predictable: it is a romance after all. The predicament is realistic and interesting. The snow storm is much to real and makes me thankful I don’t live there!

If you love the 80s classic 'Three Men & A Baby' then you'll be sure to love this spin complete with opinionated good ol' fashioned western cowboys. Oh. Yeah. Plus a baby.

Nothing could go wrong with that. Right?

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

I enjoyed the book after a couple of chapters in, at first I was not that involved and didn't relate at all but after Jen made her appearance and all was revealed about her, contrary to what Noah believed, it got better for me.

Lots of emotion and angst and drama so it was hard to put it down until I finished the book.

It was a good HEA and even started to like grumpy Noah!

Always enjoying Kate’s cowboys, I had to request Three Cowboys and a Baby of course. As stated in the blurb, Kate has done a twist on the 80’s movie Three men and a Baby. And yes, I’ve seen that one, didn’t realize that this is almost forty years ago, yikes! Although the concept is the same, Kate has certainly given the story her own spin and her own characters. Noah, Luke and Max are interesting characters. All having served in the military, they now work and live together on Luke’s ranch. They all have seen their fair share of misery, while being overseas and they all cope differently. Which makes them very intriguing.

When an old army buddy needs a place to crash, of course they take him in. Only to have him walk out of them, leaving his son behind, with the promise he will be picked up soon. with no means to find Dave or the mysterious mother of the baby, the three cowboys make do. Wondering which woman would leave her little boy behind.

Jen knew that Dave was an unreliable asshole, but she didn’t think he would be so selfish and stupid to abandon their son. But after setting foot onAmerican soil, after serving on a hospital marine boat, she is on a wild goose hunt to find her son. When she finally arrives at Luke’s ranch after weeks of travelling, she is met with a barrel of a gun aimed at her face. Not exactly a warm welcome. Noah, Max and Luke had heard the stories of Dave, telling them what a heartless, unreliable woman this Jen was. So, when she finally arrives, nearly frozen solid, at the ranch, the guys don’t know what to make of her. Jen is hurt, exhausted and out of options. She needs to leave this ranch, where she doesn’t feel welcome. But when a blizzard gets her stranded at the ranch, she has no option than to stay.

Over the days the three cowboys and Jen learn more about each other. And she certainly can’t deny her attraction to the broody Noah. But her future is messy and she will not ruffel up this straight laced cowboy’s future. Ever since Noah’s father walked out of his life, he has scrambled to give his mother and his sisters a steady life. meaning endless to-do lists and schedules for everything. So, although Noah starts to really, really like Jen, he fears for the chaos she and her son will bring. Therefore he keeps her at bay.

But when the temperatures outside are still below freezing, the temperatures inside are rising… When Dave suddenly reappears and asks Jen to marry him, Noah must make a decision: jump into the chaos or lose Jen for good. An intense and heartwarming story on family, bonds and friendships. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

After an old army buddy of Noah's takes off and leaves his young son behind. Noah and his buddies have no choice but to take care of him. The boys mother Jen finally tracks him down only to be stranded in a snow storm. Jen and Noah start to have feelings for each other. Good story. Wonderful characters.

I think the three cowboys concept is also very interesting and complex. Noah is opinionated but humble and compassionate. Engaging, slow burn as proximity challenges attraction and as misunderstandings and feelings tug heart strings. The Jen and Dave situation was very frustrating.

First, I love that the plot for this book was based off the 80s film Three Men and a Baby, which I loved and saw in the theater when it was released. Second, Tom Selleck was my favorite in the movie and. Burly bearded Noah was my favorite in the book. I loved that he called Sky little buddy all the time and the present he and Max made for Sky was so adorable and sweet.
I had mixed emotions about Jen until the full story of why she couldn’t be with her baby for months on end was revealed. Dave was a total douche bag and I couldn’t believe level headed Jen got taken in by him.
Max was prickly and I hope something develops for Luke and Bailey.
Lots of testosterone, nasty weather, lust on a ranch and a baby to satisfy your wants.,

A pleasant western romance reminiscent of the movie “Three Men & a Baby”. Dave Riley shows up at the Nilson Ranch, owned by one of his former military buddies, with his young son Sky. Saying that he is waiting for his son’s mother to arrive so that he can leave for a new job. When Luke, Max and Noah Harding wake up the next morning, Dave is gone…without Sky. The three men soon learn how to take care of a one-year-old. Jennifer Rossi, Sky’s mother, was unavoidably delayed returning home. As Jen finally tracks down her son, she arrives at the ranch. While they are snowed in, Jen and Noah spend a lot of time together with Sky and grow closer, but Noah is not sure what his place in Jen’s life will be. The two seemed to be at cross-purposes more than necessary. What will happen if Dave decides that he wants a second chance with Jen and Sky? I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)

Overall, I liked the book. I did grow frustrated with the main couple as neither had good communication skills and were hot/cold constantly. Jen, I found wishy-washy, and Noah was relationship challenged but had a good heart. I really liked the variety of characters and baby Sky’s personality really shone through. This is a decent story and was entertaining. A very good beginning to a new series.

It’s hard not to love a hero who handles a baby with ease, even if he is grumpy, judgemental and rigidly adherent to his spreadsheets. Noah is quick to judge Jen to be a negligent mother, just like her ne’er-do-well ex who showed up one day, gave a vague explanation and sneaked off leaving his infant son behind with Noah and his two friends. While her ex really is a flake and irresponsible, Jen’s situation was much different. She had a duty to fulfill and she had trusted her ex who had fought for his custody rights, to look after their son while she was away. Noah gave her no chance to explain herself, and Jen doesn’t do well when she is prejudged and found lacking. Noah later apologizes and offers Jen his assistance in getting reacquainted with her son after being away for months. When an epic snowstorm forces mother and son to stay on the ranch with Noah and his friends, Luke and Max, Jen has to lower some of her guards, but struggles to contain her attraction to the grumpy and terse Noah. An overnight stay turns into weeks due to an epic winter snow storm. Jen and her hosts are forced to work together in order to try to maintain the ranch, keep everyone safe and fed, and even deal with injuries and ailments. Along the way Noah and Jen find they can’t resist each other, much to the amusement of his friends. As the weather finally begins to clear,, thoughts turn to the future and whether or not Jen and Noah want one together. Can these two stubborn, guarded and proud people let the past go and be vulnerable enough to reveal their feelings and hopes for the future? What about her ex who suddenly reappears?

Jen’s son, Sky, is a scene stealer who worms his way into the hearts of the ex military men, now ranchers. He was an unwanted burden at first, but none of the men wanted him turned over to child services and each formed a bond with little Sky. The conclusion of this book has a couple of twists as well as a wonderful happy ending. I received an ARC of this book via NetGalley and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
