I thought this was an interesting cookbook about small batches of baking recipes. Also I have never tried Keto Baking before. I like how simple the baking recipes are and what you would need. I definitely wrote down a lot of recipes to try. I like how the different chapters include cookies, cakes, breads, etc.

A wonderful cookbook featuring so many recipes I want to try! A lovely addition to any cook's kitchen.

This adds an extra layer to your keto diet. That was a big thing I was missing. I also know I can’t make a full batch of something or I will eat a full batch. This fills the void for me. Lots of easy recipes.

This book makes me want to go on the Keto diet. If you've ever been afraid you'd miss sugar and baked goods by going Keto, this is the book for you, and the recipes are all scaled back so you won't have dozens of cookies left over in your house. I already often bake this way from my rounds as a result of our efforts to eat mostly Paleo since we finished our second round of the Whole 30 diet. While the Whole 30 plan doesn't allow any of these "healthy" baked goods, reasoning that we should learn to stop relying on pancakes, cakes, biscuits, cookies, and so forth, the Paleo diet merely requires that you only make your baked goods with almond flour, coconut flour, and so forth -- in other words, if it's allowed on a Paleo diet, you can bake whatever you want with it. And it sounds like Keto is the same way; so long as you stay in ketosis (causing your body to burn fat -- something you can measure with some kind of daily pee test) then you can make anything that uses approved ingredients, as all the recipes in this book do. I'm happy to have this cookbook in my arsenal.

This is good to have on hand, the recipes are easy to follow and there’s pictures. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for a copy.

I follow a keto lifestyle (mostly) and have always found it difficult to find things I can bake where the ingredients in the recipes are keto-friendly, so I was delighted to start using this cookbook!

Here’s what I liked about the cookbook:

You don’t have to be on a keto diet to use this cookbook. It’s good for anybody that loves sweets but wants to cut back on white sugar. We don’t need to deprive ourselves!!

The cookbook is perfect if prefer to have limited sweets around the house, such as a dozen cookies instead of two-three dozen or six cupcakes instead of 24!

The small-batch baking is enough to leave you wanting more, so you don’t get bored with the same sweet treat daily. Plus, if you truly LOVE a recipe and want a bigger batch to share with family and/or friends, I found these recipes easy to double.

The recipe ingredients are easy to find if you don’t already have them in your pantry, and all the recipes are easy to follow. The only negative is that there aren’t a lot of photos.

If you do live a keto lifestyle, the author includes a refresher on keto basics, baking staples and fridge/freezer must-haves.

Here’s what I tried and loved so far:

Cinnamon Swirl Bread – this smelled lovely while cooking and tasted just as good!

Perfect Pizza Crust – We have pizza night every Wed and this recipe was better than my previous keto pizza crust recipe. So, it’s our new go-to crust.

Blueberry Muffins – These were just so moist and had just the right amount of sweetness.

Gingersnaps – One of my all-time favorites and I haven’t had them for over four years!

Blueberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake – Again, I’m a blueberry lover and this was perfect!

Lemon Pudding Cake – My second love is anything lemon and this super moist cake is to die for!

Can’t wait to try:

Brownie Cheesecake Bars and Chocolate Chip Cookies because who doesn’t LOVE chocolate!!

This cookbook brought me a lot of joy! I love baking around the holidays especially but haven’t been able to do that since I changed my diet four years ago, but now I feel I can with this little gem! I’m looking forward to getting my bake on again!!

Small-Batch Keto Baking Cookbook, where have you been hiding? Thank goodness Lolita Carrico took the time to do the work for me by creating scrumptious recipes, and doing the math. Finally, I can actually make six muffins or biscuits, a tiny loaf of bread or cornbread, and even hand pies and puddings.

Along with a helpful breakdown of exactly what it is about a Keto diet which helps us lose weight, Lolita Carrico also includes lists of pantry staples, tools, a conversion table, and it's nicely organized into easy to use chapters.

Best for me so far is the pumpkin bread and herbed almond flour biscuits, but believe me, I'm going to try them all!

With both kids now at university, I am still adjusting to making too much food at meal time. The same goes for cookies, brownies, etc. This book was just what I needed! Everything from the Ham & Cheese Crescent Rolls to the brownie cheesecake bars were amazing and I love the small portions! I was not continuing to eat the goodies for days after. Lolita did an amazing job with the recipes. I have made quite a few and all of them are top-notch!

I highly recommend adding this cookbook to your shelf!

Small-Batch Keto Baking Cookbook is a lot more than a cookbook. It includes common staples, how to store baked goods, troubleshoots common problems, and gives a brief review of what it means to eat Keto. It also lets the reader know about substitutions and the baking tips are very helpful. I've bought a ton of Keto cookbooks and this one is the best without a doubt.

Easy to follow recipes for baking sweet and savoury treats for any taste. Aimed at keto followers, these recipes can suit anyone wishing to reduce sugar intake. Great for beginners - the author includes an overview of keto, keto ingredients and troubleshooting at the start of the book. Looking forward to diving in...my only dilemma is what to bake first!

I really enjoyed Small-Batch Keto Baking Cookbook by Lolita Carrico. I loved the beautiful cover of the book, but we will come back to the photos later. As someone doing Atkins, the low-carb recipes are wonderful substitutions. As someone who is single, the recipes are the perfect size for one person. This way nothing will go to waste. I also cannot wait to have my family try the recipes and see what my, sometimes picky, dad thinks. So far, the recipes I have tried have all come out beautifully and delicious. Here is my one complaint, and for me this is a huge issue. There are not nearly enough pictures. My favorite cookbooks have pictures for every item. This does not do that, and that is a big complaint for me. But to end it on a high note, I appreciate all the research that was done; I especially love the troubleshooting section, Overall, I really enjoyed the book.

Thank you to the author, publisher, and Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I am trying to go low-sugar and this small-batch cookbook has some awesome ideas and incredible recipes. She includes a lot of great tips and tricks. The recipes contain normal, easy to find ingredients and that makes it easy to follow.

The only thing I didn't like was the lack of photos of the recipes. There is a few, but for a cookbook I really expected more pictures to see what the goodies look like.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for a temporary, digital ARC in return for my review.

“Fill your home with the irresistible aroma of freshly baked cookies, all while remaining on a keto diet. Dive into the world of low-carb, small-batch baking with this keto baking cookbook of flavorful and perfectly portioned recipes.”

As the personal chef (read: wife) of someone who needs to eat completely grain-free, “Keto” is a daily google search term.

For us, however, small-batch, isn’t ideal for everyday.

Our family is not small, and neither are the appetites.

I’m looking at you, growing 14-year old boy.

Small-batch baking is, however, perfect for finding the best recipes. They can be hit or miss when scouring the internet, and having 4 dozen inedible muffins is no one’s idea of a good time.

Luckily, there were no flops in this book. I tried several recipes from different categories (Daily Bread, French Toast Muffins, and the Pecan Pie Bars) and they all turned out beautifully.

I’ll just quadruple the recipes next time.

My only issue is that, while delicious, the use of almond flour makes these recipes, if prepared as-is, a school no-no. I imagine, with a good blender you could substitute milled sunflower or pumpkin seeds, but I haven’t tried that yet.

Thanks to NetGalley, Callisto Media, and Rockridge Press for this tasty ARC.

This is a nice book with a quick explanation of what keto is. It gives suggestions on what ingredients to use to keep it keto as well as what pans to use when baking smaller recipes. The recipes look delicious.

The author has developed recipes for 1 - 2 people to share. He begins by listing substitute keto ingredients that may be used for cooking - such as using cream cheese and mozzarella cheese with nut flours, using chia seeds and xanthan gum to thicken, nut flours, and sugar substitutes such as monk fruit and stevia.
The keto diet is explained, along with the health and anti-aging benefits of ketosis.
There is a list of keto pantry supplies, which includes Allulose, Almond Flour, Cocoa Powder, Xanthum gum and monk fruit.
You are given some trade secrets for cooking in small batches such as ; grating butter, buying in bulk, and do not guess - measure exactly.
The recipes are simple and more complicated, try the easier ones, such as maple-orange beignets, baked french toast, your daily bread, pumpkin bread, perfect pizza crust, and english muffins first. Then try the more complicated ones ; such as ham and cheese crescent rolls, strawberry breakfast pastries, cinnamon swirl bread, butterscotch bars, angel food cake with whipped cream and berries and pecan pie.
Enjoy this delectable recipe book with keto recipes!

I'm not into keto lifestyle, but this was definitely an interesting approach. I was pleased with the result. Delicious, nevertheless!

This keto friendly cookbook is going to be a new staple in my kitchen!! Cooking for two but wanting some sweets sometimes is hard to make only a few. Absolutely love the option provided in this book for cooking 6 muffins at a time or a small batch cookies (1 dozen). So many great recipes that will fix the sweet tooth craving or ‘bread’ cravings! My first recipe I had to try was the French toast muffins. They are too die for!! I actually had these for a ladies brunch we had this past weekend and everyone loved them. Another recipe I’ll be making a lot is the everything bagels! Being on a metro diet I miss some foods but want to avoid the carbs- this recipe for the everything bagels is easy and tastes so good. I love the information in the beginning about the keto mini refreshing and also the explanation of essential ingredients to make sure to have in your pantry for the keto lifestyle.

Thank you so much to Netgalley for the advanced copy!
I'm always keen on finding keto recipes especially for baking, so i can indulge a bit without the guilt and the pounds piling on.
I admit i have not yet gotten around to making any of the recipes. Partly because it's difficult to manoeuvre it on my Kindle - the Contents do not link to the recipes, so it's extremely difficult to find specific ones. I hope it won't be like that on the final version, as i sent recipe books back for that.
The recipes sound good, some clever ideas there - I'm looking forward to trying them soon.
