Hannah (25) & Gabe (29) initially meet on an elevator at her job, but by the time they see each other again she has had a makeover so he doesn't recognize her. Neither are looking for a relationship anyway since they were both cheated on in the past, but neither can stop thinking about each other either.

Hannah's bff, Libby, died of breast cancer and left Hannah a bucket list to complete. The list is a way for Hannah to step out of her comfort zone and do things that Libby never got to. One thing on the list is to complete a 100 mile bike ride....in Texas! No wonder it's called the HotterN' Hell race. She begins training for it and that's when she sees Gabe again.

Gabe was a nice fella. He's a big time bike rider, so I'd expect his legs to be rock hard like his abs. I'm happy we had his point of view. He has 6 interesting sisters that livened up the story and it seems the rest of the series will follow them.

Overall, I love the list concept and how Hannah ticked everything off with gusto, however I did not care for how she handled it when it came to Gabe. She was very immature and I just didn't understand her rational one bit. The communication was nonexistent. She frustrated me over and over and over again, so I wasn't a big fan of her. However, there were some fun and touching moments.

It was an interesting read. Fulfilling a bucket list for her friend, she goes on a journey and in that journey, she meets people, fall in love and pretty much has a new look on her life. This was a sweet story with spice and fun moments.

Very much a read for a younger audience. I would recommend it to teen students, but not for those my age.

This book was sweeter and more lighthearted than I anticipated. Based on the blurb, I was anticipating more of a tearjerker. Instead, it's kind of a chick lit novel with some romance thrown in. Hannah was a great main character, definitely someone I felt I could root for and I thought the authors did a good job of setting up her backstory and the reasons she has issues with relationships. Gabe was overall pretty good, I wanted a little more from him to get the connection between him and Hannah. Although the romance wasn't my favorite, I did enjoy the scenes of her tackling Libby's to-do list. I'd certainly read another book from the duo.

Hannah catches her boyfriend in bed with another woman, and she's left thinking she'll never find love again. Her best friend makes a bucket list for her to complete which leads to her meeting a hot stranger. Her best friend dies of cancer and she feels compelled to complete the bucket list.
I liked how the bucket list forced Hannah out of her comfort zone and she tried a lot of new things. I also thought the scene with the cat lady trying to hit on Gabe was hilarious. It was definitely a sweet love story, and a quick read. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced copy.

Dear Pink is a fun fast paced Rom Com that I didn’t want to put down. Hannah and Gabe are both adorably clueless at dating which makes you want them to get together even more.

After she catches her ex-boyfriend in bed with another woman, Hannah's certain she will never fall in love again. It's better to play it safe in love, in work, in life. But when her best friend tasks her with a daring bucket list, new adventures begin.

Can Hannah put aside her heartache and let a hot stranger into her life? A crazy bucket list might just do the trick.

This author writes with warmth and engaging perception about our relationship and understanding…..

Many thanks as always to NetGalley, the publishers and the author for allowing me to read and review this book.

This book started out a bit predictable, but broadened into an enjoyable story.

It reminds me of 13 Little Blue Envelopes. You know the trope: here's what you need to do now that I'm no longer with you.

I was surprised by how much I actually cared about the characters. Perhaps that's due to the talented writer. Well done.

Dear Pink by Michelle Angelle

This is a lovely story it follows Hannah a charming sweet nature person who has lost herself whilst still getting over her cheating ex and following the deaths of her parents and then her very best friend. You get to follow her journey to get back to her true self with the help of Libby’s bucket list sent after Libby’s recent death from cancer. Just before receiving Libby’s list she has a chance with a gorgeous man in a very stylishly sexy cycling outfit in her office building list who she labelled ‘Mr Fancy.' Later in the story we find that this lovely man is Gabe and their paths cross many times in this will they / won’t they romance.

Great characters lots of humour also the difficult subject of bereavement is dealt with beautifully.

An easy quick and enjoyable read.

This was a first time read for me by this author and it was a beautiful read. I was captivated with the story from the very start and could not put it down. The story will give you lots of laughter and fun, but also give you an emotional ride. Hannah's heart has been through the ringer, having been burned in love and losing her best friend Libby to cancer. But even gone, Libby is still looking after Hannah. She leaves her a bucket list to complete and help her to keep living her life and find her confidence. Going through the list, she meets Gabe and her love life takes a turn for the better. Gabe is exactly what she needs, gentle and kind, and his family is just so much fun, you can't help but fall in love with them.
This was a great introduction for me to this author and I will definitely be looking forward to reading more.
I received a complimentary copy from Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.

This was a great book about a woman and her journey to completing a list. However, I feel as though I have read better romances and chick-lits recently, so this didn’t read as good as some of them. This isn’t anything against this book or the author, it is just that I am becoming more fine-tuned towards my romance tastes.

After finding her boyfriend cheating on her, Hannah’s life goes into airplane mode. Her friend Libby writes a posthumous six item bucket list.
1. Finally, get a makeover.
2. Race in the Hotter’N Hell, a multi-day 100 mile bike race
3. Adopt a pet. There’s a cute turtle named Homer.
4. Play your guitar and sing at Café 210’s open mic night.
5. Donate $50k to charity
6. Pitch that brilliant graphic novel. She gets a book deal!
As sweet as Hannah and Gabe were together, it felt more chick-lit and less rom-com. This novel deals with grief and loss and the main character’s bereavement process.

Hannah is the embodiment of whom you want to be at your strongest. Yes, Libby pushed her but it is only how she could push herself to a different level by following the bucket list. As Hannah herself stated, you don't know what you are capable of until you try including the bike race. You must always try. She is extraordinary talented in design but believes rejection is her course of action. Yes, the language between her and Gabe can be super cheesy but overall this book is inspiring and worth a read.

I mean, … this was readable I suppose? The premise of a dead best friend writing an email with a bucket list - good. But then there was just too much chucked in on top of that. It ended up feeling a bit manic. Like the MC suddenly becomes a singer and guitarist out of nowhere?! I also felt like the MC just created the drama in the relationship for no reason, it all got a bit sloppy. Which is a shame as it was pretty promising to start with!

A very cute and cosy read with two extremely loveable characters who meet while making changes to their lives. I enjoy a good rom-com and this one was no exception.

Thanks for my ARC copy.

Great book, about a woman doing a bucket list left by late best friend. And learned to love and live again. Great writing and characters.

Hannah's story and her relationship with her best friend certainly hits you in the feels, at least it did for me. Sometimes it's hard to see what you need to correct to be your best, and sometimes, you need your best friend to show you what you truly can do.
.
Hannah, aka Pink, is a smart and talented artist stuck in a rut with her job and her life. Through the support of her best friend Libby, she embarks on completing a bucket list of challenges. Unlike most bucket lists, she isn't tasked with traveling to exotic locations but rather stepping (far) outside of her comfort zone.
.
Shortly after completing her first challenge she meets, or rather meets again, a good looking man who becomes a challenge in his own rite. Enter Gabe, Mr. Fancy, the Veterinarian and bike enthusiast. Now, Gabe is still recovering after having had a crap breakup and has sworn off love. There is just something about Pink though that has him falling fast for her.
.
Can these two find a way to heal what past relationships have broken within them?
.
This was such a fun and sweet story that has a bit of a life lesson thrown in too. We all have those things in life that we say we want to do; compete in a race, be bolder with our careers, take chances and not just participate in life but truly live it. Libby and her bucket list are that kick in the pants Hannah needs.

Very enjoyable romance.

Hannah still isn't over an ex; her best friend has passed away from cancer. Hannah receives an email from her best friend (evidently via delayed send email option) with a "bucket list".

This book is unique in that it is co-written by two female authors. Really well-balanced and well done.

This really is a very sweet book. Debating between 4 and 5 stars, going to round up.

Thank you to NetGalley, Michelle Angelle the author and Victory Editing for the opportunity to read the advance read copy in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you @netgalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for an arc of Dear Pink by Michelle Angelle in exchange for an honest review. 🤍

Dear Pink is a sweet and cute read, a breath of fresh air from the past 2 holiday romance novels I have read (but I think I want more Christmas reads, I'm feeling the vibes now and it's only October). It tells the story of Hannah, who has sworn of love and relationships, navigating through the loss of her best friend, Libby. Libby leaves Hannah a bucket list to complete, to help Hannah find herself and be more confident.

As Hannah goes through her bucket list, she meets Gabe and their relationship grows. She is welcomed by Gabe's crazy and hilarious family (and oh I love them!) and I especially loved Libby - we all need someone like her in our lives to break us out of our comfort zones and bring about the best of us.

I really enjoyed Dear Pink and I'm rating it ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5/5
