Thank you NetGalley for the eARC. This book was a refreshing glass of water for me. A nice get to know ya and not a hey hi, lets get naked and then learn each others names later. I like it
Fun and good read. I liked the characters as well as their development. It was quickly read and Hunter is just sooooooooooooo dreamy
This poignant narrative delves deep into the lives of two individuals grappling with their own inner turmoil and past traumas. As they navigate the tumultuous waters of their respective journeys, they find solace and strength in each other's presence, forging a bond that transcends their individual struggles.
It's important to note that this book delves into sensitive themes of abuse, which may not be suitable for all readers. If such content is triggering or uncomfortable for you, it may be best to approach this book with caution or explore other options.
From the moment I delved into the pages of this book, I found myself captivated by the raw honesty and authenticity of the characters' experiences. Their struggles felt palpable, their victories hard-earned, and their growth profoundly moving. What stood out to me most was the genuine connection between the characters and the unwavering support they offered each other in times of need.
While their initial connection may have been instantaneous, the romance that blossoms between them unfolds at a deliberate and unhurried pace. It's a slow burn, characterized by moments of tenderness, vulnerability, and mutual understanding. This gradual development only serves to deepen the emotional resonance of their relationship, making their eventual union all the more satisfying and meaningful.
At its core, this book is a testament to the transformative power of love and resilience in the face of adversity. It's a beautiful portrayal of two souls finding healing and redemption in each other's arms and a poignant reminder that even in our darkest moments, there is always hope for a brighter tomorrow.
I received an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review
This is one I never would have read if I hadn't seen it on NetGalley and absolutely LOVED it! Angelina and Hunter had the most beautiful journey and I definitely want to do a re-read very soon!
This is a good book. The two main characters are Angelina and Hunter. They meet in the elevator. She is terrified and has not been out of her apartment in over three years. She was trying to get to the lobby. Hunter was coming home after working at a bar. There was an instant attraction. They both have some issues but together they work them out and fall in love.
I think this book was amazing... A woman feeling with a real life issue that isn't very common but very real after being attacked like she was... Overcoming her fears and finding love it's amazing...
This book was a lot of fun! I enjoyed the ride the author took us on. I hope to read more from this author in the future.
I am a big fan of Romance books and I found this one to be a very enjoyable read. I will be looking for more books from this author.
I received a complimentary copy of Limitless in exchange for an honest review. As the previous reviews mention this has some very dark themes and disturbing details which could be a trigger for some readers. Limitless introduced me to agoraphobia which is an anxiety disorder. It was fascinating to see how rehabilitating agoraphobia could be, and that Angelina could ever trust another male especially one like Hudson who had his own demons to work through. This definitely wasn't a feel good happy romance, but it did have a happy ending. Very interesting and unique read that i'd only recommend to readers capable of processing deep and dark themes.
Limitless is the first book that I have read by Lynn Rush and unfortunately it will probably be the last. If I had known that the main character was the victim of rape and that is why she suffers from agoraphobia, then I wouldn’t have requested this book. I absolutely refuse to read any story that has that in it, so unfortunately I will not be able to recommend this book to anybody. Aside from that it seemed like a book that was right up my alley.
3.5stars
Angelina and Amos met on one dark night. They both have baggage and secrets. The past of both is troubled and that is what connects them in the end. Really emotional read, they both grow emotionally and physically through their relationship which is not easy.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley
This was quite a raw read as it dealt with some heavy topics such as rape, physical abuse, domestic abuse, PTSD, kidnapping, death, and agoraphobia. Because of the gravity of these themes, it might be too much for some readers.
Given the seriousness of Angelina’s mental illness, I’m not sure if the speed of her healing was appropriate, however, this is a work of fiction so I gave it a pass. I liked the strength of both characters: Lina, although slight of build, was mentally strong enough to overcome her fear and Hunter, who while physically strong, had to rein in his power before the anger controlled him. I liked that the author considered therapy for both characters as a way for healing than just the other person’s “aura”. I would have liked some time stamps as the story skips ahead by many weeks for a couple of chapters without much notice. I thought I had missed something! This was quite different from my usual romantic read since there was no sex. Just kissing and some light petting. There was a climatic point to do with the appearance of Hunter’s father which seemed inevitable and was resolved quite quickly.
This was a worthy read but not for the faint of heart.
I received this free eARC novel from NetGalley. This is my honest review.
This was a heavy book. I want expecting such deep topics, and with it diving right into it at the beginning, I wasnt sure how detailed it was going to get. But I'm glad I stuck through it because I got to see Hunter and Lina battle through their issues and become the whole, happy people they were able to find because they found each other.
I can't imagine living through either of their lives. Both are equally horrifying and more than anyone should have to survive from. But the second they met, their lives were destined to get extraordinarily better.
Seeing both Lina and Hunter grow stronger, braver, more determined was amazing. It shows that if you have the right people in your life, anything can be defeated.
I'm glad I got the chance to read this story and see these brave characters overcome their real pasts.
I started out liking this book but there were some pacing problems and sudden stops that became an issue.
I like the characters and the storyline but that was it.
Angelina suddenly overcoming her agoraphobia within weeks of meeting Hunter was a bit far fetched in my opinion.
Limitless tells the story of Lina, who after suffering a traumatic sexual assault, develops agoraphobia and becomes bound to her apartment's four walls. When she gets a curiously handsome new neighbor, she's hesitant but falling fast for the first man to make her feel safe in months.
I was drawn to Limitless because of the overall premise. I'll be the first to admit, I love a good biker romance, which is what I thought I was getting. Instead I found myself struggling to pick up this book and tap through it. The writing, while approachable and easy to read, is really overall weak and reminds me a lot of fan-written pieces online (like Wattpad or Tumblr). While this isn't necessarily a bad thing, the topics covered in this novel were far, far too heavy to be addressed with such a lighthearted style. I think this novel should have been written with a far more careful hand and understanding of the heavy topics and subjects it navigated.
I also found myself immediately disliking Hunter from chapter two, which is never a good sign for me. Within the first moments of him holding Lina's unconscious body, his internal thoughts are about how "fit" she is and how he's been "primed and ready" to have sex since it's been so long. Personally, I checked out mentally from this moment forward. I didn't like Hunter, I didn't find a connection to him, and I questioned if Lina was even safe with him multiple times through the novel.
Overall, this book wasn't for me and I found it extremely hard to even pick up. I don't think it handled the traumatic topics well enough to pull of a romance novel including such heavy backstories. Kudos to the author for providing a content warning, but there needed to be specifications for the graphic sexual assault and sexual abuse flashbacks - merely using the term "abuse" wasn't enough. There are graphic on page flashbacks for gang rape and readers should be warned specifically from the beginning.
Thank you to NetGalley and New Leaf Publishing for providing me with a copy for an honest review.
Content warnings: anxiety, on page panic attacks, past rape, past assault, flashbacks to abuse, grief, death + more.
Well, this is my very first book from this Author and I absolutely loved word to word, sentence to sentence and chapter to chapter.
Angelina... The Female lead even I love to call her Lina. She's such an inspiring character. She's suffering from agoraphobic and the way she brings herself to attend her graduation is something worth admiring.
Hunter... The Male Lead, he truly knows how to take care of his girl. Damn every moment he held her close to him was just amazing.
Most of the books I read failed to explain the mental pain of main character from their past. But this author really did her best with her writing skills by explaining Lina's struggles to overcome her past.

I suggest that because this book is definitely something you shouldn't miss. Yes, it is emotional but something worth reading too.
This is a very emotional book about two people who have had their lives irrevocably altered by trauma. You definitely need to be aware that major story points revolve around rape, abuse, PTSD. Angelina's family is very wealthy and owns a worldwide hotel chain. She was kidnapped, raped, and tortured several years ago - and this triggered agoraphobia. She is working through her trauma, with the help of her therapist, and making strides to leave her apartment. She encounters Hunter unexpectedly as she is working through things one night - and he helps her in a truly kind way. From that point forward, Hunter makes an effort to get to know Angelina - starting with conversations through her door and building up their relationship from a distance.
Angelina and Hunter both have a lot of trauma to work through and secrets that relate to that trauma. So I loved that this book strongly touched on the importance of therapy and getting help - beyond just a supportive network of friends and family. Both Angelina and Hunter need that support and really couldn't have moved forward together without it.
Unfortunately, however, I struggled to stick with the book. I think, despite the depth of the topic, I didn't feel the depth of the characters emotions in the way I thought I would. This book talks about severe trauma - and includes several on-page descriptions of past events. But even seeing them through the eyes of the characters - the story didn't get to me emotionally in the way you would expect. I don't think we got as deep into the feelings of the characters as we could have - so I didn't make an emotional connection to either the way I wanted to.
Overall - this is not a low angst read - and deals with heavy topics. But it isn't a wreck your heart and put it back together again type of read. So if you are looking for something in the middle ground - it may be the book for you.
I received this via NetGalley as an ARC, but these opinions are all my own.
The writing style of this book really flowed nicely. The story was emotional and did a great job conveying the feelings that were ever present through. Def a heavy read emotion wise but a good read that I didnt want to put down. Loved it.
Limitless is the first book in the Lynn Rush’s new Survivor series. It is a heart warming romantic suspense story filled with intense chemistry, danger and a protective alpha who will do anything to protect the woman he loves and help her overcome her fear.
Angelina Raine is doing everything she can to overcome the agoraphobia that has gripped her life for over three years so she can attend her graduation. She never thought that literally running into Hunter Amos, her extremely large and mean looking neighbour, would have a positive, not negative, affect on her journey.
Hunter has learned the hard way that forming personal attachments are not safe for his family and those around, especially when the danger hunting could find him at anytime. But something about Angelina draws him in. Together they slowly learn to trusted each other and overcome their fears and insecurities, but can their love survive when the past and it’s secret tries to tear them apart? Read it and find out!
I discovered Lynn Rush and this series while searching Netgalley. The cover drew my attention and once I read the synopsis I was hooked. I loved the chemistry between Angelina and Hunter and how they seemed to just know what the other needed to overcome their fears. Rush is a phenomenal writer, who’s story telling ability keeps you hanging and draws you in deeper as you go page by page. Ican’t wait to read the next story in this amazing series!
The story is gripping and heartbreaking. I love every single word and chapter I read of this story. It is told in Dual POVs and you get different sides of the story. This is my first time reading a book by this author but she’s simply an amazing author
