What a fun roadtrip!

Lucy quits her job because she is underappreciated and over depended on. Oh, and she's also in love with her boos. She decides she wants to become a travel influencer and see the world. After she quits her boss Miles joins her on her roadtrip to talk her into coming back to work for him (his main pitch is money, of course).

As the trip begins Lucy struggles to get a following (we all know that takes time and work!) but posts a pic of shirtless Miles and that blows up, which is the beginning of her influencer career.

I loved watching both Lucy and Miles figure things out, both their work relationship and a more personal one. Miles begins to see Lucy for more than just your basic assistant and Lucy learns to stand for what she wants.

Plenty of fun happens along the way too!

I love the idea of romance and road trips! This has cool locations and experiences. It made me want to take off for two weeks! It has the fun tropes:
~one bed/tent
~forced proximity
~billionaire boss
~road trip
I enjoyed the writing - it was funny and enjoyable to read. I just didn't like that Lucy had been in love for 2 years and Miles supposedly falls in love in 2 weeks. It just didn't feel realistic to me. Miles is very swoon worthy though! The banter is witty and I really love the dual POV! It makes it easier to understand them both. It's got some spice in it and I think I'll still check out her backlist!

Thank you Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for my review copy!

Miles and Miles of You had some funny, sweet, swoony, and sexy moments throughout, yet there were aspects of this book that I felt were ridiculous, rushed, and over the top.

Lucy has worked for Miles for two years as his executive assistant. She has a crush on him which of course he doesn’t notice because he’s a billionaire and a horn dog not to mention he’s just flat clueless to everything and everyone around him except his thriving company he owns with his brothers. Miles is one of those people who does not notice the world around him, he fixates on something and that is his sole purpose, and social cues often escape him. I don’t feel like he was a bad person, just not in tune with the world around him. Lucy decides she has had enough feels she’s been ignored and “disrespected” because he doesn’t listen when she briefs him on his day. So she quits and Miles doesn’t understand and quite frankly I wouldn’t either when she’s never had a sit down meeting and explained how his tuning her out upsets her. I’m putting it out here that I felt Lucy was immature and a wee bit over dramatic and the fact she quits a job that she’s paid well for to become a “social media star” is ridiculous.

Two weeks later Lucy is getting ready for her first big adventure <honestly not so big when she has it planned to the nth degree and she’s wanting to show women how to travel inexpensively on their own> there’s a difference in traveling on a planned trip that thousands of people have done and simply heading out and seeing where the road takes you. She is clueless in the fact that what she’s hoping to build her social media empire on is something many people had done so she’s not unique or interesting. But I digress, not my book, not my characters. Miles shows up and tells her he is going to travel with her on her 2 weeks journey (yep, her big social media star plan is a 2 week trip on Route 66) and they make a bet that if Miles wins she’ll go back to work for him.

I normally love road trip romances but this one was just okay, I honestly didn’t feel the heat between them because they were so busy trying to one up each other and not show their feelings to the other because apparently Miles had feelings for her too. These characters were not developed well nor was the road to their relationship it all felt forced and uninspired.

I hate it when I read a synopsis for a book and it just doesn’t live up to my expectations. While Miles and Miles of You didn’t work for me, I have a feeling others will really enjoy it. As a road trip warrior, for me their trip just wasn’t interesting and the fact that I didn’t feel the “gotta have you” vibes between them, was also disappointing.

Stressed out personal assistant Lucy has had enough of being underappreciated in her life, quits her job and decides to become a travel influencer instead. Borrowing her grandmother’s Airstream, she embarks on a mini cross State road trip. And she has an unexpectedly travel companion, Miles, her boss. Did I mention she’s secretly in love with him?

This was a light hearted, funny book, perfect to take on holiday. The alternating point of view made it fun to read. I didn’t entirely buy into Miles – Lucy had been in love with him for 2 years based on the fact he’s hot and rich, but he didn’t respect her (or her pet, red flags!)? Road trip romance, however, is my new favourite trope and I want more of it!

This was a really fun, easy read. If you're a fan of Meghan Quinn or Sarah Dessen, you'll enjoy this one!

Lucy was a great female MC. Her journey to find herself was realistic and enjoyable, and she grew a lot but did not completely change who she was, which was good to see. Miles, the love interest, was so charming. I genuinely believed in him and trusted that he had good intentions. and I enjoyed how both Miles and Lucy grew and matured both as individuals and as a couple.

This was my first read by Jennifer Bonds, and I can absolutely see myself picking up another one of her books!

A fun, flirty, fast read! Lucy is a total boss babe who quits her job as an assistant to sexy billionaire Miles so she can become a travel influencer (also, she quits because he *so* does not appreciate her!).

Lucy's first adventure along Route 66 was so fun- I felt like I was hanging out in the Jeep and Airstream alongside her and Miles, who decided to follow along. Those shirtless pics she shares of Miles? I'd give her a follow!

While the writing was fast and fun, I wish the love story had played out differently. Lucy claims to have been in love with her boss for 2 years but her reasonings are because he's hot and a billionaire. But she quits because he doesn't respect her. How is that a recipe for love? Their arrangement on the road is spicy and full of sexy moments, but the love aspect didn't win me over. All for their adventures though, especially to see the rabbits!

This cutesy road trip romance was such an easy, fast read. I enjoyed every part of it. I loved all of the tropes and watching the characters fall for each other. I recently travelled down Route 66 with my boyfriend so it was so fun to see it portrayed in a book. I loved this spicy yet heartwarming read. I highly recommend.

The book starts out with Lucy working at triada as miles harts assistant. She manages basically his entire life. From his schedule, to his Laundry, to the people he goes on dates with. She’s talking to miles about what he has scheduled for the day. Miles isn’t listening to what she’s saying. Lucy gets upset and quits her job.

She decides to be a travel influencer. Miles thinks it’s a joke until she leaves him to fend for himself. After a week of lucy being gone miles is desperate to get Lucy back. He goes to her home and tries to get her back. He then decides to go on the road with her. They have a bet going. If miles wins she goes back to triada as his assistant and if Lucy wins she’s free to continue her trip. Who do you think will win? Read this book and find out.

Lucy has been enamoured with her boss Miles Hart for the duration of her time working with him. Miles is totally oblivious and doesn't appreciate her skillset at all. So it's not until Lucy leaves the company, to become a travel blogger/influencer, and everything turns pearshaped for Miles, that he finally realises the value of Lucy within his company. He chases Lucy down as she is about to embark on a cross country adventure, and the pair make a deal - whoever gives in before the two week journey is up, is the loser, with Lucy's return/non-return to work as the stake.
What follows is two unlikely characters, sharing a caravan, travelling Route 66 for two weeks. Their adventure awaits. There are some fun instances, and lightbulb moments for Lucy and Miles, but Miles is in for the good time and Lucy wants more. She's courageous and brave, and unwilling to settle for less. These character are super fun. Mind you I could have shaken Miles and his frustrating attitude, whilst acknowledging it is firmly etched in his childhood trauma.
Totally recommend this one for lovers of romance in search of the HEA between a feisty FMC and a cocky, but emotionally wounded MMC, forced proximity, one bed, and a little slice of adventure. Things progress quickly given the time frame the couple are away, but I was mindful they have known each other for a couple of years. It did seem to come from absolutely zero feelings to ... well, alot of feelings very quickly though.

If you like MF feel good rom coms you need to read this maybe even duel review because this zoomed high on my MF or any favorite list. Where I rarely reread MM MF is even less common to be on my reread list. This is definitely one I would to pick me up out of the dumps!

I rarely reread a book but I would this one. This is definitely one to pick you up out of the dumps!
It’s a great beach or vacation read, but hey, we read holiday and cold weather in July or summer so why not a beach or vacation to knock of the chill in winter. And the Sizzle and chemistry between Lucy and Miles sure heats things up!
Not only are Lucy and Miles great characters but what little we get of his brothers made me want their stories, and toss in a free-spirited, quirky grandma and a cute hamster you have a unique, funny, interesting story.
The plot is a road trip in a rundown Airstream on Route 66. For Lucy to break away from Miles as his assistant and start a life as a social influencer. Until Miles shows up with a bet to doom her and win her back as his assistant.
Hilarious!
I think this is a must read for any romance lover!

Thank you NetGalley for this ARC! A roadtrip story is always fun for me and this one did not disappoint. This was definitely a quick read. I found myself rushing to find out the ending to Miles and Lucy’s story. Perfect if you love an office romance or boss/employee pair. I also really liked the character’s growth and reading them finding their way. Overall I would recommend this book to others and look forward to reading more from this author!

Jennifer Bonds’s Miles and Miles of You is a fun romantic comedy that sparkles with witty banter, red-hot chemistry and plenty of sizzle!

Working for billionaire Miles Hart was certainly no walk in the park. Lucy Gonzalez worked non-stop for the demanding billionaire and sick and tired of being under-appreciated and taken for granted had quit and left him in the lurch – much to his chagrin! Determined to leave spreadsheets and schedules behind, Lucy had hitched up her grandma’s Airstream and hit the road in order to find all the best places to see the sights on a shoestring budget. Lucy cannot wait to travel all across the country, but little does she realize that she’s about to have company on her trip – her former boss, Miles!

Thrust together in her grandmother’s van, sparks immediately begin to fly between Miles and Lucy! As passions are ignited, Miles and Lucy realize that they might have more in common than they initially thought and when giving into temptation proves inevitable, will they find the courage to face up to their feelings for one another and admit that they’ve fallen head over heels in love? Or will they let this unexpected chance at a happy ending slip through their fingers?

Jennifer Bonds’s Miles and Miles of You is a fun, flirty and feel-good romantic read I couldn’t get enough of. Jennifer Bonds has written a fabulous romantic comedy that will make readers roar with laughter and have them cheering on Lucy and Miles, who are simply perfect for each another!

Jennifer Bonds’ Miles and Miles of You is an engaging and enjoyable romantic comedy that will steal every reader’s heart.

Lucy, fighting the years of feelings during her work as Miles' executive assistant when she unexpectedly quits of course he finds he can't function without her. Lucy opting to try her hand at being an influencer sets out on a road trip from Texas along route 66. Miles, of course shows up as she's leaving determined to win her back professionally and the two make a bet that one will back out before the road trip is up.

The witty banter right from the beginning has alllll the makings of a highly promising romcom. Part enemies to lovers, part Harvey and Donna (any Suits fans?!) All amidst the close proximity of Miles deciding he needs to join Lucy on her road trip. What could possibly go wrong here? 🤣🤣

Thank you Netgalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC for the ARC in exchange for my review!

This is a light fluffy road-trip book. Lucy finally fed up with her boss Miles quits and decides to be travel influencer. And Miles who didn't realize what he had until it was gone decides to crash Lucy's road-trip. Good chaos ensues along with two people finally figuring out their feelings for one another.

Miles and Miles of You is a charming, fun, and entertaining read from Jennifer Bonds!

When Lucy quits her job and decides to become a travel influencer, the last thing expects is her crush and ex-boss Miles to tag along. Miles wants Lucy to come back to the company and he makes a bet with her to try to make it happen.

I really enjoyed getting to learn a bit about all the fun places they visited on Route 66. As I was reading I could easily imagine their road trip as a movie. They had such excellent chemistry and banter, and it was easy to see their friends with benefits situation would quickly turn into more.

This is the first book in a new series and I can't wait to read the next one!

This book is a light read with messages aplenty, don’t let your boss get under your skin and what happens when said boss boycotts your road trip!
The storyline follows the journey of Lucy and Miles, I found it slow to understand, the characters were so disconnected. There’s a fun adventure about to happen but it’s a bit forced to begin.
There’s an undercurrent of romance, the main characters fight against it as they travel cross country. Lucy doesn’t want to work for Miles, Miles struggles without her!
I wanted to see more fleshing out of the developing relationship between Lucy and Miles, to make their relationship more believable and enjoyable.
Overall, a fun easy read!

Thanks to the publisher, NetGalley and the author for the opportunity to read this book.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This wasn’t a great read but, I enjoyed it mostly. Some of writing made me cringe a little and I did get bored at times. My thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for giving me the opportunity to read this book in return for an honest review.

Miles and Miles of You is my first read from author Jennifer Bonds but it will definitely not be my last!

Lucy Gonzalez is taking no slack from anyone anymore. Done with her role as a overworked personal assistant, she’s set on traveling America and taking another’s along on her adventures. But what she doesn’t account for? Her ex boss wanting to hop into the airstream and travel with her. Miles Hart, self made billionaire, cannot live without his personal assistant. And he’s about to show her what lengths he will go to in order to win her back.

I recommend those that love road trips and the enemies to lovers trope read Miles and Miles of You. Told in dual point of view, both characters were relatable although I wish there was more backstory on why Lucy hated Miles as much as she did.
