I really enjoyed this story a lot. I thought it was a unique twist on the billionaire/assistant trope as Lucy no longer works for Miles. Their road trip was fun, the pacing of them falling in love in-story seemed authentic. My only real problem with the story was that Lucy had supposedly been quietly in love with Miles for the 2 years she worked with him, but there’s really nothing of substance to back up how that could have been, she was his efficient often ignored assistant and he was the distracted workaholic boss who went on dates Lucy scheduled with different women every Wednesday. What’s not to love about someone who pays absolutely no attention to you and has an endless line of one night stands?
Overall I maintain my enjoyment of the story I just could have lived without the reminders that she’s been in love with him for 2 years. Infatuation maybe.
I love a romcom, but this one was a total miss for me. I thought the premise sounded fun, but the story was not well executed. The characters were underdeveloped, I didn’t find it funny, and I could not get on board with rodent trauma (yes, you read that correctly) being something that was supposed to add emotional depth and character development to the book. I appreciated the Latina main character representation, but wish both main characters had been better fleshed out; they felt like caricatures, which made it hard to stay interested in what was happening to them.
Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the advanced reader copy.
"I won't sit here and listen to her talk about herself in such disparaging terms. Not when I see her so completely. The trip has been a pain in the ass in more ways than I can count, but it's opened my eyes to the incredible woman before me. 'Your eyes are brown but no the same rich espresso shade as your hair. They're a deep umber that grows darker, almost black, when you're angry, and when they catch the light, they soften, revealing a warmth few possess. The most fascinating thing I've noticed is that when you're excited or making a snarky comeback to put me in my place, your eyes sparkle, lighting up your entire face.'"
Lucy is done. She is done working her ass off and not being seen by her boss. She's done working for the man she's been in love with for two years, and done waiting for Miles. In a moment of exhaustion and frustration, Lucy quits.
She's getting ready to embrace her new freedom and travel, working toward becoming an influencer. She just doesn't anticipate Miles showing up and barging his way into her trip. He's wrecked without her, not realizing how much he relied on her at work and to keep at the pieces of his life in order. Desperate to get her back, he offers her more money, and a lighter workload.
Lucy's not ready to give up on her adventure quite so easily, so they form a bet. If Miles can last the whole two weeks on the trip her way, she will come back to work for him. If Lucy wins, Miles will make sure Lucy gets the bonus she missed out on for quitting early.

This was such a fun, fast, and hilarious read. They had excellent banter and definitely some good chemistry. The road trip was so much fun, and I loved all the chaos that came from it and their bonding moments.
It was great seeing Miles' feeling develop during the two weeks, but I wish we got more from why Lucy was so enamored by him. We understand that she's been in love with him for a long time, but I wanted more of that emotional aspect on her end. Overall, they were a really cute couple but a lot of the feelings felt surface level.
I think the pacing of this book was a bit rushed in terms of Miles coming to terms with his feelings. There was definitely more room for layers and to explore feelings, especially since he's been working with her for two years.
Overall, a fun quick read! Was definitely laughing and loved little Gizmo.
Thank you Netgalley, Jennifer Bonds, and Entangled Publishing for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Miles and Miles of You is a joyful, steamy rom com. Jennifer Bonds takes all the best parts of a road trip romance, with tons of forced proximity and banter, and seamlessly puts them together with charming characters.
4.5/5 stars
Lucy is fed up. Her boss Miles hardly listens to a word she says, while as his assistant she makes his life run smoothly in and out of the office. It doesn’t help that she’s in love with him, either. She finally reaches her limit and quits on the spot, blurting out that she’s going to become a travel influencer. At first Miles doesn’t believe her, but when all is said and done, he comes along for the trip. They bet on whether or not each of them can last two weeks on the road. If Lucy wins, she gets her bonus and a glowing recommendation, but if Miles wins, she’ll come back to work for him. Who will win? And will things heat up between them while traveling Route 66?
To no romance reader’s surprise, as they travel Miles realizes his own attraction to Lucy, in addition to his appreciation of her brains and office skills. What makes this book an absolute treat is the chemistry and banter between these two characters. They are evenly matched in every way, even if Miles is a tech billionaire and Lucy struggles financially. Their mutual intelligence and respect colors every interaction. And once things heat up, it’s clear these two are meant to be together.
Truly, from the vintage Airstream to Gizmo the hamster, all the details are spot on. And any book that uses s’mores as foreplay is a win for me. There weren’t tons of supporting characters, since Lucy and Miles are alone on the road for most of the book, but Miles’s brothers are hilarious, and I’m hoping that each of them has their own book on the way.
Miles and Miles of You is a fantastic rom com that I couldn’t put down. I’m on the record as loving a road trip romance, and Lucy and Miles were the perfect foils for each other. And their chemistry is hot too! If you are looking for a hot, quick, light read, don’t miss this book.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This one wasn't my cup of tea. He story itself would have been find, if it made any kind of sense why Lucy was agreeing to taking Miles along with her. But there wasn't,she really didn't get anything out of it. She could have just.... Said no. And spared herself a bunch of trouble. Lucy herself was okay, Miles on the other hand was just annoying. He's selfish and even though he agrees to Lucy's rules, he immediately disregards them, because he thinks they're not fun. As the story is pretty short, I honestly don't have much else to say, the characters just weren't able to carry the book. Maybe if Miles was a bit more mature it would have been fine, but Luvy deserves better.
I received an advanced copy from NetGalley and voluntarily read and reviewed this book. All opinions are my own.
First and foremost thank you NetGalley, Jennifer Bonds, and Entangled Publishing for the e-ARC!
Miles and Miles of You was sexy, fun, funny, and full of love! If you love work place romance, forced proximity, hot guy and “basic girl” tropes you will absolutely adore this book!
Lucy is Miles under appreciated assistant she’s beautiful and doesn’t even know it. Miles is billionaire overworked heart throb who doesn’t really appreciate the work Lucy does until she decides to leave. In order to win her back Miles decides to invite himself on her new profound job as a travel influencer.
You guys I feel like I haven’t read a 5 star book in months, and this one totally nailed it from the first sentence. The chemistry between the two characters is unreal! The storyline is “chefs kiss” 😘 there was absolutely nothing that I didn’t love about this book. I loved how Lucy was her authentic self and worked hard to achieve her goals. There’s just something about forced proximity that always scores some points for me! This book is a definite must read!
The story itself was really fun. I enjoyed the premise, and the way things played out. I even feel like the writing was engaging and smart in a way that I really appreciate. But there was something missing for me.
I felt like it was all very surface level. And while I enjoyed the way things played out - I didn't *feel* it the way I really wanted to. It was like casually reading about something that happened to someone sometime. I felt a little held apart from the story, and never really brought all the way in.
That said, there's plenty to like here. Moments that were adorable, sexy, and fun. The grand gesture at the end was quirky and adorable and I feel like if I had felt more emotionally connected to the book, it would have put me in a full on swoon.
In the end, this was a quick, enjoyable read - but didn't quite hit "next level" for me.
What a fun, fluffy romance book. How often do we say, "I wanna quit and travel around the country!" How many times have we done that? I am at 0. But Lucy is at 1.
When the boss is like, wait, I miss you, and followers her on her journey you know it's going to be a good romance. The fact that Miles says sorry so often, helps this type 6 girl (me) feel validated for Lucy. I love the fact they are traveling around in an airstream, seeing beautiful places, and falling in love.
I have already pre-ordered this book, it is so cute I want to re-read it again and again!
3.5 stars. This book was harder for me to get into than I would like. I constantly found myself putting this book down & being distracted by other things. I didn't feel like there was any character building as well as things just felt a bit rushed.
This surprised me (in a good way) by being more “deep” than I anticipated for a rom-com type read. Even though there wasn’t anything extremely traumatic, the stuff that was addressed was handled in a real and validating way, which made it feel more substantial! I’d like to have heard more about the brother’s upbringings, especially in contrast with everyone’s current lives.
Overall cute, fun, and with a nice few little twists (:
During COVID and also as a resident of Hawaii, we just don't do many road trips. Getting a romance that has road trip elements has been my favorite lately. Will definitely be buying a physical copy for my shelf! So many tropes that I love in this book. I will be recommending this book :)

Get on board with @SoSavvyTraveler!
Lucy Gonzalez might have once been a stressed personal assistant, but now she’s hitched up her grandma’s bitchin’ vintage Airstream and hitting the road with all the best places to find cheap eats and see the sights on a shoestring budget.
And she has company along for the ride. If those thirst-worthy abs seem familiar, it’s because they belong to billionaire Miles Hart. True story, he used to be Lucy’s boss until she quit on him. Something about not being appreciated? Anyway, you will appreciate Miles—and his groveling—plenty on this trip.
Review-
This book was so fun, and let me tell you-
I needed it!! This book was a quick and easy read that I flew through. It honestly felt like I was the one driving cross country!
I loved Miles and Lucy so so so much, and their relationship throughout had me laughing, smiling, and gasping out loud.
This is a slow burn romance at first, but picks up steam about half way through. Steam for me was about 3 out of 5, and tropes were enemy to lovers (kind of), and forced proximity.
I was so happy to read this one, and thoroughly enjoyed it all the way through
✓ one tent / one bed
✓ travel
✓ boss-employee
sadly i was expecting so much more. she worked for him 2 years and was in love with him, he fell for her when they took 2 weeks trip and it didn't feel realistic because he didn't even realize her past two years 🤨 also she was unreasonably angry at him for not loving her??? girl not every boss falls for his assistant 🙄
Swooning, witty banter, and forced proximity make this an adorable, steamy, hilarious romcom. It's so cute and I found myself smiling throughout. It's light, easy, and fun!
I LOVED this book. I have so many reasons why, but the main being that it’s 1. A workplace romance with a travel twist 2. Forced proximity is a top notch Trope that I looooove. 3. Opposites really do attract - my husband and I are proof. And 4. So much hilarious happenstances and witty banter!
Lucy is an overworked and underappreciated assistant to Noah Hart, billionaire tech guru with his two brothers. One day she has simply had enough and quits on the spot, announcing that she is going to become a Travel blogger. She sells everything she owns, hitches up her Grans old trailer and is about to hit the road, when Noah shows up and announces he is coming with her. They make a bet- Noah wants Lucy to come back and work for him, and Lucy wants to be paid out in full. Which one of them will be left standing as they take on the legendary Route 66 itinerary from Chicago to Santa Monica?
This book was a joy to read. I didn’t want to put it down. I loved how Lucy secretly loved Miles first and spent the journey trying to get him out of her system and let it go… and all the time Miles’ hard shell was breaking down and he was becoming more and more soft for her. As each character faced their own inner struggles, they eventually found a safe place in each other…. But will what happens on the road stay on the road, or can it be something that lasts?
Grab this book up, immediately. You won’t be sorry.
Read if you love RomComs, duo POV, hamsters (lol), spicy forced proximity, workplace romance, travel and witty banter with a strong female lead.
If you're in the mood for a fluffy sweet romance then you should absolutely give Miles and Miles of You a try! I loved all the cute moments between Lucy and Miles and I thought the plot line was really nice and different to what I've seen before with the travel blogger element.
4/5 stars. Thank you to NetGalley and the author for this copy to review.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🌶🌶🌶
This was a delightfully pleasant and easy read, it made a nice break from all of the murdery books I’ve been reading as of late, sometimes you do need something light-hearted to break it up and this did the trick.
Here were introduced to an overworked and underappreciated, Lucy Gonzales, assistant to the oblivious Miles Hart who Lucy has been pining over for the past two years. Lucy deals with and manages every aspect of Miles's life from professional to personal including his ever-rotating door of one-night stands, until one day when Lucy is finally at her wit's end, she up and quits and it is when her adventure begins. Lucy decides to take her life on the road with goals of becoming a travel influencer and putting Miles Hart miles & miles behind her that is until he invites himself along for the ride…
I enjoyed the forced proximity trope and liked that the book was split into parts for each character so you could read their thoughts etc, they have well-written chemistry on the page, and nothing felt forced or awkward. Also, the banter between the two was spot on for me, loved seeing the sassier side of Lucy, as for the steamy parts, the characters fit well together so again didn’t feel forced or read cringey.
As far as characters go, I loved Lucy, she's sassy, confident & headstrong and I admire those qualities, especially in a female lead. I enjoyed reading about her character development and seeing how much she changed from beginning to end, especially witnessing her self-confidence grow and her finally start to believe in her capabilities.
Miles, I liked his character the more I got to know and understand him, he & Lucy continued to challenge each other throughout the book and it was nice to see the different sides they brought out in each other.
I loved the travelling theme throughout the book, I would eventually like to visit America one day and would love to experience a road trip as our two MCs experienced. I liked the whole idea of the Route 66 road trip, especially the whole savvy traveller route, it's something I would want to experience and something I would look to and read before I planned a road trip. Loved the places they visited to eat!
Parts that particularly made me laugh out loud, were Miles renaming Gizmo, Gremlin, and also the way he realises he fucked up and then goes to get his girl, extremely romantic and loved the fact he wore a Gizmo t-shirt even though he is terrified of Rodents.
Now, the only part I was a bit disappointed with and felt like it was a bit rushed was the proposal. Yes, of course, I want these two to have their happily ever after I just wish it was written in a way that I could have imagined it happening naturally. It just didn’t feel like them if that makes sense and definitely felt rushed and just wasn’t as big or grand a gesture as his apology. So that was the only downfall for me.
Asides from that, I thoroughly enjoyed the book & would defo recommend it to anyone looking for a light-hearted / romcom ❤️
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book and so all thoughts and opinions shared in this review are my own, and so with that, I would like to say a thank you to the Author, Publisher and @Netgalley for providing me with the opportunity to do so.
3.5 Stars!! This was a cute book. Lucy is the ex-employee of Miles, the ex-boss and billionaire because there must be tons of mega hot, washboard abs, single billionaires running around. Most billionaires are more Bill Gates than Hollywood heartthrob. Anyway, Miles seemed like a real ‘Richard’ at the beginning but kinda grew as a caring human being. Lucy didn’t change much from what I could tell but she did become more sassy. This really was cute story but it did have a few fever inducing ‘sexy times’ added in to spice it up.
Lucy wanted to make it as a travel influencer - yeah, who doesn’t?, but she really only becomes popular when Miles is in the pictures? Also how could someone smart enough to become a billionaire not realize how great Lucy is? Although I’ll give him a pass, he is a man after all. (No offense.) Anyway, good book, not great but good enough. Lots of adventure, witty banter, plenty of ‘sexy times’, strong main female, clueless sexy billionaire, and a hamster in an RV.(not a partridge in a pear tree though. Ha!)
*I received this at no charge & I voluntarily left this review.*
thank you to the publisher and netgalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review
a cute story and I couldn't put down, this was a fun and easy read
“Life is too short to waste time of things that don’t spark joy”
“Watch me”
“Lucy … Boring is the last word I’d use to describe your panties”
This book made my day way better that it was before !!!!!
I’m absolutely in love with the plot, the setting, the characters, the romance and the incredible tropes in it !!!!
Miles and Lucy’s story was entertaining and endearing. Their banter was second only to the spicy scenes they had … THAT MAN KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING !!!
I’m so obsessed it’s unreal!!
This book has what I’ve seen only a few times in romance … a boss romance where she quits and he has to win her back … but then things turn out being not exactly as expected !!!!
We have the enemies to lovers, the boss romance, the forced proximity with not only one bed … but also ONE TENT trope !!!!
And then we have the “seeing each other at their worst” which in my opinion is one of the best tropes ever !!!!!!
And don’t get me start of the small jealousy scenes … I lived for them !!!!
This book was a combination of small but great things I love in a contemporary romance !!!
I’m so glad I had the chance to read this one !!!! I can’t wait for it to be out !!!
“I’m in this trip for the long haul”
“I’m sorry did you say honeymoon suite?”
“What happens in the road stays on the road”
