I really loved this beautifully written book.. The illustrations were amazing. I was thrilled that the awesome sistas found a way to use these poisonous herbs for good health. I'm really fascinated with poisonous things like plants, snakes and human nature. I don't know about you but I'm for sure adding this wonderful book to my personal library.l

Fantastic read! Gorgeously illustrated grimoire of the witching herbs (including henbane, datura and belladonna) that calls for these to be re-incorporated into modern herbal medicine and contemporary magic.

Poison Prescriptions is a beautifully written and illustrated grimoire. I loved all the insight and knowledge that was given to us in it, I think I would have rather had a physical book rather than a digital version. Just the sort of book to go back to repeatedly as a reference guide.

Poison Prescriptions by the Seed Sistas is an enjoyable look at plant work from a spiritual perspective . I was particularity fond of the lay out and writing style chosen for the book and hope to pick up a physical copy soon. I don't have much previous experience with this variety of plant work and so highly recommend people in a similar position use a non spiritual cross reference. Poison Prescriptions will be an excellent read for spiritual and mundane lovers of plant based knowledge.

Great Halloween vibes, and lots of useful information. This book belongs in the Religion/Spirituality category more than in Botany, but it's still a good resource. Mostly focused on witchcraft herb practice, Poison Prescriptions recommends herbs for various spellwork and gives detailed histories of often ignored plants, like mugwort. Traditionally feared herbs like Belladonna and Aconite are given through backgrounds, imagery for casting intentions, and some actually useful indicators of use. Note that this book should not at all be used to treat conditions and that there is a heavy reliance on homeopathy which would not stand any scientific examination.

Compelling and enjoyable. I really love the illustrations and layout of the book, and it is an informative and incredibly interesting volume on the healing power of plants.

It's a fascinating book, full of information and interesting ideas. I don't always agree with the authors but it's a good reference guide.

Oh my goodness. I absolutely loved this book. I found it to be extremely detailed and helpful. From mushrooms, to toxic weeds, and psychedelics - the history and metaphysical nature of these plants was incredible to read and understand. The history on witches throughout various regions was extremely interesting to me. Astrology, lunar factors, zodiac... everything was touched on. Absolutely want a physical copy of this to put in my library. Wonderful!

Poison Prescriptions: Power Plant Medicine, Magic & Ritual by The Seed Sistas is a gorgeous book and grimoire of spells, herbs, healing, and so much more. I have read a few grimoires before but this one certainly was my favorite. I have huge respect for the author(s) and was thankful for the knowledge they shared although it isn't for me to use:)

Absolutely found this book helpful. The blurb caught my eye big time. And I was wanting more information about herbs and poison for my writing. Got excited when I was approved to read this book on netgalley. And was sent a physical copy. And honestly it's jam packed with alot of good information. This book is going into my writing collection that has information. 😍 Broke down alot of the herbs to where I could understand them better. I'm rusty to some knowledge of herbs but this book helped me out a lot. Highly recommend it. 5 star book.
