This book just keeps giving and giving! There are stories within stories that are engaging and full of twists! Well written, the descriptions are vivid and beautiful. I also like the added storyline of horse rescues, a very noble occupation that is also part of the authors bio! While this book has a satisfactory ending, there is also a follow-up book that I will be reading!

2.5⭐
Ginger has had a rather difficult life. Her husband bailed on her, leaving her with young children to raise on her own. One of which mysteriously vanished on a stormy night. Ginger was of course, grief- stricken but needed to keep putting one foot in front of the other for the sake of her remaining son.

Fast forward: Ginger is middle aged (though portrayed as much older than her years). A gunshot and a scream interrupt an otherwise quiet night. Her best friend Tara sprints from next door to find Ginger standing over a dead body. Dun dun dunnnn!😱

Personal Mini rant:
I found Ginger beyond unlikeable. She grated on my nerves like nails on a chalk board. Every description of her and comments she made all related to the 80’s. Ugghh!

Don’t get me wrong, I do love the 80’s. The music, the slang and of course the fashions. (well maybe not that😜). But like they say, everything in moderation. Sorry but this was just too much. I know this author is fond of her 80’s too, but she attempted to cram every bit of the decade into this book. It started to feel over-loaded and forced instead of a fun look back in time. I was left rolling my eyes “I get it already “🙄.

The entire storyline was just too convoluted. I had high hopes going in after reading many positive reviews. But once again, I came away feeling like I read a different book than everyone else.

I enjoyed the first book in this series but I had a hard time getting into this one. Enjoyed the writing but ultimately could not draw me in. I did finish it and I would recommend, just not for me. Thank you NetGalley for this ARC

This is a definite page turner!!! It has everything kidnapping, murder, family drama and even some tugging at the heart strings. I didn't see any of the twist coming and there were so many jaw dropping moments!!! How have I never read any of Pamela Crane's books? That is definitely about to change. Thank you Netgalley and Independent Publishers Group for this digital copy for my honest review.

Every day I am more and more thankful that my good friend, Alicia, introduced me to Pamela Crane. Not only did I find a new "auto-buy author", but I have since read books that have surpassed and exceeded all expectations.

If you have not yet read a Pamela Crane book, I highly encourage you to do so.

So, When Little Does She Know, popped up on Netgalley, I was completely flabbergasted as to how I was unaware of this publication! I pride myself on staying "in the know" and this one completely slipped past me!

My bad.

I am so grateful that I did not miss this ! Talk about a psychological thriller, my mind is completely warped and I am left speechless. Once again, Crane slays!

Little Does She Know, squeals 1980s. Throw on your favorite leg warmers, tease that big ole hair, and find your favorite neon hoodie to snuggle up in because this book is going to give you all the feels.

As I began reading, I instantly teleported into the 80s. Not only is this one of my favorite time periods but it was also relative and the references were on point. As an 80s baby myself, I felt that instant connection. Now throw in some psychological suspense and Crane has literally hand crafted a book that was destined to land in my hands. Little Does She Know, oozes with betrayal, secrets and lies! I became completely consumed and addicted to each turn of the page. As I neared the end I could feel myself tearing up, I just didn't want this book to end. Yes, it was THAT good.

As always, Crane has put forth a book so well written it will blow your mind . The pace was executed with perfection. The characters were realistic and relative. I could keep going on and on about Crane but the best bit of advice I can give you is to buy the book. Not only this one, but ALL of them! Pretty Ugly Lies, A Slow Ruin, Little Deadly Secrets, you name it, I have read it and they have all been quality five star reads.

I promise you, you do not want to miss this one!

Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for this copy.

Ginger is the it girl, she has the hair, money, power, and is drop dead gorgeous, life is great. Until her son goes missing and she starts looking for answers. That shakes up her world.

This was a DNF @ 20% for me. I thought it would be fun, because it seems to have a fun 80’s vibe and make lots of those references from that time period, but I was bored. I did not care about any of the characters or their stories. I also really did not enjoy the writing style, this is a hard pass for me.

Thank you NetGalley for a copy of this ebook to read in exchange for my honest opinion.

This was my first Pamela Crane book and sadly it was just really not for me. While the mystery definitely did pull me in and make me want to find out what happened, the chapters from the 80s were almost unbearable. The 80s references were totally out of control. It was as if she was trying really hard to prove she’s an 80s girl or wanted to show how much research she’s done about that decade. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book that name dropped as many songs as this one..I could probably make an hour long playlist of songs from the 80s with all the songs mentioned in this book. The absurd part was the current day chapters barely references any songs, movies, places, brand names etc. it was only the chapters following the 80s timeline. While absurd because I can’t fathom why the writing style would be so different from chapter to chapter in the same book written by one author, it was also the reason I added a star, without a break from all the references this would have been 1-2 star read for me.
Like I stated the mystery drew me in but sadly was underwhelming as I pegged the murderer at the 20% mark. Some of the twists were just silly. I don’t want to spoil anything so I’ll just say the twist that the PI helped Tara uncover was just ridiculous. Really just overkill. Also that whole scene with the PI didn’t make sense - why would Tara’s mom take her to meet the PI but the PI wasn’t allowed to tell her anything? If her mom didn’t want her to know, it doesn’t make sense that she’s introduce them - especially since the PI didn’t give any other info. There were just some gaping holes like this in the plot.
I do find this book was a quick read so I’ll likely give the author another shot, just because I like or dislike one book by an author doesn’t mean I’ll feel the same about them all. Thank you to the author for all the work you put into your writing, while this book wasn’t for me I hope to find a book by you I love in the future

Thank you for the ARC. This was a strangely wholesome novel with a lot of twists and turns. I loved how weird Ginger was.
The friendships and family bonds are sweet and I absolutely loved Havoc.

Back in the 80’s, Ginger’s youngest son, Cole, mysteriously disappears on the beach one evening. Flash forward to the present, Ginger now in her late sixties, lives with eldest son Benny, next door to best friend Tara. One night a gunshot and a scream can be heard, and Benny has been murdered. A string of bad luck that begins the If Only She Knew Series.

This was a fairly quick read. I enjoyed the authors writing style and her nod to all things 80’s. Some I found a little cliche and cringy, but they did add a little cheer and wit to an otherwise dreary murder plot.

I guessed the whodunnit quickly in, but was intrigued enough to continue reading. I ultimately wanted to see how this eccentric cast of characters would all come together. There was one twist I didn’t see coming that got a thumbs up from me! And an epilogue that gave us a glimpse into the next book in the series, She Knows Too Much.

Overall an easy read that would be perfect for a day at the beach or your next vacation!

Pop "Get into the Groove" into your tape player and settle in because this is a wild book.

Ginger and Tara are best friends and neighborhoods. 40 years ago, Ginger's son was kidnapped and her life fell apart. Things are better now, but for Tara, things are just starting to get worse. Ginger wakes up one morning to find a dead body in her backyard and the prime suspect is Tara's husband.

This story is the beginning of a series about a strange town and it's dark secrets, and what a way to kick off a series. Pamela Crane knows how to bring readers in.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Wow lots of twists in this one. So many twists and turns that I wasn't expecting. I also loved all the 80's references, even though some of them felt forced at times. They were brought up again and again.,, but I was an 80's baby so I loved it. One of the main characters was annoying to me, but I really enjoyed the main friendship within the story.

Thank you NetGalley and Independent Publishers Group for the copy of Little Does She Know. I’m not sure why I lost interest in the book after a promising beginning. Maybe the story wasn’t coming together quickly enough for me and I never connected to any of the characters.Ginger was only 65 and she was portrayed as so much older it was almost insulting. The story was good and if you love a twisty ending you will love it.

I was hooked from the beginning to the end...surprises after surprises...it was amazing how the author wrote this cannot put down novel...how it kept my attention, wondering what on earth could happen next. Hadn't enough happened to this main character, a senior citizen? Family and friends...red herrings abound...secrets to destroy and hurt...learning about family members and what they might have done, what they did, what they might do. The characters come alive on the pages of this book. This would make a great television series, but one might not be able to wait week to week to see what occurs. This author is talented and gifted, and I hope to read more books by Pamela Crane. This is a book that one might read again just to see if anything was missed. Unbelievable...parts of the book. This novel was sent to me by Netgalley electronically for review. Thanks to the publisher for the copy.

I've read and enjoyed this author's previous books so I was extra excited to read a new one by her.

Little Does She Know by Pamela Crane was engrossing, the definition of a page-turner and breathlessly entertaining!

I was hooked on page one and this book had a vice grip on me until the final word.

This was a quick read full of nostalgia, humor, sadness and mystery. While I flew through this, I also found myself drifting off a few times. While waiting for a response from a character, the protagonist would delve into a memory or her feelings for a good page until you finally get to the rest of the dialogue. The mystery aspect started lacking for me and the reveal just fell a little flat. What started my frustration with everything was when you read the entire first chapter from one of the protagonist's point of view and find out that you were lied to for no good reason. Just word it differently instead of lying to the reader. We are not part of the story, we aren't there so there is no reason for this. Maybe this wasn't necessarily my cup of tea as it seems that others did in fact enjoy it much more. Two Stars.

The first book that I have read by this author and I can certainly say it won’t be the last one. This was a superb read that kept me just wanting to read more and more until I got to the last page . A thriller with lots of twists and turns.

I don’t recall reading this authors work before but I will hence forward. And while the cover was great & part of the appeal, the story kept me riveted. As like many suspense reads these days, it’s told from multiple POVs & over different timelines as well but I was drawn in by the excellent writing, had no trouble keeping up & really enjoyed Ginger & Tara’s story. If the description appeals to you then I’m confident you’ll enjoy this mystery, too!

I had previously read this book and wanted to give it a review here on NetGalley. This is a great, excellent thriller that brings a lot of new content to the genre. I was intrigued the entire way through the book and didn't know where it was headed, which is what I typically look for in thrillers/mysteries.
