Good book! It took me a minute to get into this book! But I'm so glad I stuck with it! This book had a bit of everything! It had suspense, intrigue, murder, and so many twists and turns! It also had heartache and heartbreak! The storyline was very interesting and kept me glued to my Kindle! I highly recommend reading this book! It was well worth reading! I couldn’t stop turning pages fast enough and I ended up reading it in one sitting. Let me just say this is one thrilling story with one of my favorite cast of characters.

First of all, the characters were refreshingly unique. Meet the eccentric elderly lady Ginger who is stuck in the 1980s, and the young mom Tara, whose husband ends up in jail for murder. I love how the author included two very unique protagonists with very different ages and backgrounds as friends. Their dynamic was fun and well developed. And their families and backgrounds were wonderfully developed. As they pair up to solve this truly baffling murder, the pacing picks up even more as they're possibly the next target.

Along with a memorable (and likeable) cast and a huge twist I hadn't anticipated, the 1980s nostalgia brought a whole extra element of WOW to this book. It's now one of my favorite thrillers this year. And the tears I cried at the end…this book is amazing!
