Blind Trust is another (and final) exciting book in the SNAP Agency series by Natalie Walters. Hair-raising, edge-of-the-seat action, romantic tension, and twists to the plot one doesn't see coming kept my interest. I highly recommend this book to readers who enjoy romantic suspense. I was given a complimentary copy of the book through NetGalley and was not required to write a positive review. The opinions are my own.
I’m soooooo late on this review, but I couldn’t have been more excited to read this story!! Garcia has been my very favourite character the whole way through this series, and the sparks have been flying between him & Lyla the whole time, so I was hanging out for this one!!
And in no way did it disappoint!!! It was totally worth the wait!! Another winner in the friends to more with actual reasons they’re not together category in my book! And the story was every bit as filled with action, heart and great characters with real stories as the rest of the series has been! And yes, Garcia is still my favourite!!
I honestly can NOT recommend this series highly enough!!! If you like suspense it is not to be missed!!!
Must read.
Thank you so much @netgalley and @revellfiction for the ARC.
Another thrilling story from Natalie Walters!
A threatening letter sets Lyla Fox off in pursuit of the dangerous source and motive. Of course, to get to the heart of the matter, she may need the help of Nicolas Garcia, and he happens to take issue with Lyla's methods and choices. With lives on the line, can they learn to work together to thwart the danger?
I loved Blind Trust! Lyla and Nicolas make for an unlikely pairing, but seeing them figure out how to face their challenges proved to be so enjoyable. Their story is not without its share of twists and turns, and each one kept me guessing about what would happen next—I had so much fun reading this third SNAP Agency novel! I'm sure that other readers of romantic suspense will enjoy it just as much!

I received a complimentary copy of this book and the opportunity to provide an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review, and all the opinions I have expressed are my own.
This is another author who always writes such great mystery and suspense books. I love that they are from a Christian perspective so I don't have to worry about reading about things I don't want to or don't find necessary in a great book. Definitely one I'll be talking to my friends about as they are Natalie Walter fans as well.
A great conclusion to the series. I'd been waiting fo hear Nicolas and Lyla's story and I wasn't disappointed.
When there’s danger, international intrigue, mystery and romance all brewing at the same time, you can bet on the fact that it’s all wrapped up in a Natalie Walters story! Blind Trust was an exciting, well-paced story that featured a strong female lead and grouchy, yet kind and protective hero.
Lyla Fox’s no-holds-barred character showcases her grit, determination and strong-willed nature. If you’ve read the previous books in the SNAP series, you’ve known her story was coming for a long time and it was oh, so rewarding to watch the tension between her and Nicolas Garcia come to a fine point when Nicolas considers a special assignment outside of SNAP. Nicolas’s character won me over in this book for his deeply protective nature as a man of few words.
As always, Walters also delivers a fantastic cast of characters that are highly-skilled and lovable. With deep friendships, a strong professional front and fun banter, her characters work their way into readers’ hearts and create a delightful bond.
The action in this story ebbs and flows nicely, offering moments of heart-pounding danger and mind-twisting revelations. The suspense is pretty strong, but at times, I’ll admit to being frustrated with Lyla and her impulsivity. I also was a little saddened we didn’t learn more about Nicolas’s backstory.
There was some faith-based content, but I felt it could have been stronger, maybe more of a turning point for Lyla.
The romance was a bit of a slow-burn, but not the kind filled with flirting. Rather it was more of a revelation over time on each character’s part and the tension was geared more towards a professional tension than romantic tension. I had been hoping for more chemistry as these two strong-headed characters connected. I did, however, enjoy the dual POV which was very well done.
Overall, this was a good read with a great group of characters who make up the SNAP Agency, exciting suspense and a surprise ending that I didn’t see coming. Readers who enjoy clean romantic suspense novels will likely enjoy this book (and series!).
*I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary e-copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts are my own and I was not required to post a positive review.
Two of the main characters in this Christian Suspense novel, Lyla Fox and Nicolas Garcia, work for the SNAP Agency. Garcia has training in explosives from his time in the army, knowledge that comes in handy sometimes. When the book opens, Lyla is working undercover to expose a criminal. She’s very good at what she does but she’s impetuous, often putting herself in danger. This impetuousness is hard for Nicolas to deal with because he cares deeply for Lyla. He's always holding his breath when she takes another risk with her safety, and maybe even her life.
There are moments of humor in the story, which eases the tension of the more dramatic moments. And the romance between Lyla and Nicolas is interspersed with the main story just perfectly. I love that there are moments of humor that take me by surprise to diffuse some of the tension from the action.
This is a great story with great characters, and a perfect end to an enjoyable series.
Natalie Walters never disappoints. I loved this book for the characters and the fast-action plot. A must-read for anyone who loves a great suspense novel.
I was a bit out of my knowledge range with all of the explosives and weapons but Lyla Fox knew just what she was doing! Nicolas Garcia was an explosives and weapons specialist yet his tender side was uncovered! Nicolas and Lyla face one dangerous situation after another but Nicolas keeps reminding her of scripture! There were lots of characters to keep track of but Blind Trust was definitely a page turner! I recommend Blind Trust to anyone who enjoys suspense and action. I received a copy of Blind Trust from Revell Fiction's Neighborhood Library Giveaway and an e-copy through Net Galley. This is my honest opinion.
A fast-paced, suspense filled conclusion to a great series.
Lyla Fox has worked at the SNAP Agency for a long time and is known to be a bit impulsive. Her impulsive nature causes her to go full throttle when a man she put away starts sending her threats. To stay safe and stop the threats, Lyla must accept help from Nicolas Garcia. She and Nicolas have a history and her lack of concern for her safety is an issue for Nicolas, making the case even harder for both of them.
Natalie Walters does a fantastic job of wrapping up the SNAP Agency series with a bang! I loved reading about Lyla and Nicolas after getting snippets of them in the first books. All the characters in this series are great and the way they all come together to help each other made me care for each of them. The romantic tension between these two characters was spot on; I felt for them from the very beginning and couldn’t wait to see them have a happy ending.
One of the best aspects of this book was the pacing, not once did I feel bored with the storyline or find myself not wanting to continue with the story. The danger that Lyla found herself in put me on edge, but she never played the victim or waited around for someone to come and rescue her, she stayed strong and that made me love her even more. I recommend this book to readers that enjoy romantic suspense and have enjoyed the first two books in the series.
I received a complimentary copy of this title from the publisher. The views and opinions expressed within are my own.
Finally!!! We finnnaallllyy got the couple that we've been waiting for through the other books in this series! It was worth the wait to see them together! I am always amazed at how Ms Walters comes up with the plots for these books. It gives me even more respect for those who keep our country safe!
A really fun thriller that gave me some fun twists and turns. I enjoyed the romance element, but definitely left wanting more. I liked the heroine a lot and would like to read more from Natalie Walters in the future.
Pretty sure if you look up Lyla Fox, you'll find her middle name is Impulsive. Just ask anyone at the SNAP (Strategic Neutralization and Protection) Agency.
Nicolas Garcia also works at SNAP. His feelings for Lyla are more than for the average co-worker. The biggest thing standing in the way is her impulsiveness. She is a big risk taker that can bring harm to herself.
Nicolas isn't even sure he wants to continue working for SNAP.
Now, a man Lyla helped put behind bars is threatening her, and Nicolas wants to be able to help protect her.
Great story with great characters!
This book is the end to a fabulous series!
I was given a complimentary ecopy by the publisher, Revell through Netgalley. I was under no obligation to leave a positive review.
Blind Trust by Natalie Walters is the final installment in the SNAP Agency Series. This final romance and final thrilling plot was the perfect, mesmerizing story to finish the series with a flourish. You won’t be able to put this book down, so don’t start reading until you are sure you can finish it. Such an amazing story with surprises ahead! My only regret is that there are no subsequent books. These characters are so distinctive that I would love to know what happens next to them. I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher with no obligations. These opinions are entirely my own.

The following is the review of Blind Trust that I am conducting through Revell and Netgalley:
While Lyla Fox knows she has a reputation at the SNAP Agency for being impulsive, when she receives a threatening letter from a man she helped put in prison, she cannot resist the urge to find out why he is pursuing her. Unfortunately, she will need the help of the one person who is most likely to question her reckless choices.
The explosives and weapons expert Nicolás Garcia agrees to help Lyla in order to keep her safe, but her recklessness continues to raise concerns, especially when her investigation into a conspiracy places her at risk. Dealing with bombs can be extremely dangerous. It is just as treacherous for him to work with Lyla, both for his mission and for his heart.
This nail-biting story of a deadly government conspiracy, an unlikely couple, and an ending that will leave you breathless concludes Natalie Walters' SNAP Agency series with a bang.
I give Blind Trust five out of five stars!
Happy Reading!
Author Natalie Walters offers twists, turns, and heart-pounding action in this conclusion to the SNAP Agency series. I loved that we're reunited with the other members of the agency, but this book allows Lyla Fox and Nicolas Garcia to occupy center stage. We've seen their obvious physical attraction, but could this slow-burn romance erupt into something more intense? I experienced so many emotions while reading Blind Trust. Anticipation, enjoyment, satisfaction, and even sadness, because I know it's the end! This is truly romantic suspense at its best!
I received a complimentary copy from the author and publisher. There was no obligation for a positive review. These are my own thoughts.
Another great, suspenseful story from Natalie Walters. This book was a great read filled with action and mystery and romance, too! Those are all of the things I look for in a novel. The storyline and characters were written well and well thought out. Awesome book!
Man I have been waiting for this story for a long time, but it was well (and I mean WELL) worth the wait. Slow burn romance? Check. Danger? Check. Action? Check. Characters to love? Double check. Laughter? Check. What more could you ask for in a book?
The good thing about reading a series is that the characters become like your family. The bad things about reading a series is that the characters become like your family. I don’t want to say goodbye to these sweet (and sometimes hysterical) characters. But I’m so glad that we get Lyla and Garcia’s story before it ended.
I think what’s special about their story is how slow burning it is. I mean all the readers knew before they knew. The other characters knew before they knew. But not once does Walters force them together, romantically at least. And you know what? That is fine. It’s real life. I cannot tell you the number of couples that often don’t even realize they are good for each other, while the rest of the world just kind of chuckles as they watch them figure it out. I think that’s why I enjoyed their story so much. I reminded me of some couples I know. Well, minus all the danger and action!
Walters is also good at keeping the pace of the story steady when needed, and fast when needed. And even in the midst of danger, she always seems to put in a little something to make the reader smile, and kind of step back from the ledge a bit. It could be a gesture, thought or a comment from one of the team members that just has you burst out laughing. Maybe not in every single scene, but in a few of them. That’s why I like reading her books so much. They are truly joyful to read.
While I am so sorry to see this series go, I can only hope that means there is another amazing series in the works, and I am HERE FOR IT! I highly recommend reading the SNAP Agency Series. You can thank me later. :)
I received a complimentary copy for this book. I was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Second book I've read by Natalie Walters. It's a fast-paced thriller with plenty of twisty turns and surprising reveals. There is a bit of Christianity which did not add or detract from the story for me. All in all, a page-turning action packed story, a good diversion from daily life and the perfect quick beach red.
This book was okay. I felt like at times there were too many characters to keep up with that distracted from the story.
The ending was too easily wrapped up and the problems that developed during the story were too easily resolved.
It was more heavy on the romance than suspense which is not my preference.
If you enjoy romantic suspense and like this author, you will probably enjoy it.
