Wow, what an amazing conclusion to the SNAP Agency series! I have ‘shipped’ Lyla and Garcia since the very beginning of the series so I was beyond excited to read their story, and I loved it so much! Lyla is such a fun character, I love her spunkiness (or moxie as Garcia says!)
Nicolás Garcia is such an amazing guy! I love me a strong, tender, quiet, thoughtful, and unswervingly loyal hero, and if he happens to be an expert in EOD even better! (for those not in the know that stands for explosive ordnance disposal aka the people who defuse bombs)
Nic and Lyla’s romance is a very slow burn, and I loved watching them realize they had feelings for each other that went beyond friendship!
I loved the faith story in this book, it was woven in so authentically and just beautifully done!
I absolutely adore the SNAP Agency team! They are such a delight, and just SO much fun, they always make me smile, and I wish I could spend a day hanging out with them in the fulcrum. In fact I wish I had my very own Kekoa to throw me handfuls of chocolate when I’m upset and wrap me in breath-stealing hugs when I’m having a bad day! *sigh*
One of my favorite TV shows is NCIS: Los Angeles, and the SNAP team gives me major NCIS: LA vibes! The ensemble cast of quirky characters, the witty banter, the suspenseful action, the international intrigue, the team of friends that are more like family! If you like NCIS: LA you’re gonna LOVE the SNAP Agency series!
I absolutely loved every minute I spent reading Blind Trust, and I most highly recommend it! My only complaint is that it ended too soon, I was so sad to say goodbye to these beloved characters! I could totally read a new book about these characters every year! Seriously, this series could continue on forever, and I’D NEVER GET TIRED OF READING ABOUT THIS TEAM!!!!!
If you haven’t read this series yet then what have you been doing with your life?! The novels themselves stand alone, but I would say make sure you read Initium, the prequel novella BEFORE Blind Trust, otherwise Blind Trust will spoil the novella for you! But Initium is a super quick read and it is FANTASTIC!
The point is: READ THIS SERIES! You can thank me later!
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher.
My review was not influenced in any way. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.
WOW! What a wonderful, thrilling, page-turner conclusion to The SNAP Agency Series! I totally loved it! Lyla and García rock!
Lyla Fox has a known reputation at the SNAP Agency for being reckless and impulsive, even if her intuitions generally prove to be true. But she finds that her coworker and good friend Nicolas García constantly questions her impulsiveness and challenges to think of the risks before acting. It’s somewhat annoying not to be trusted. But is it lack of trust or deep concern for her safety? When she receives a threatening letter from a man she helped put in jail, she’s determined to find out what his motives are. Unfortunately, she needs the help of the man who most questions her recklessness. Nicolas, or García as he is commonly called, a bombs and weapons specialist, agrees to help Lyla. It’s his way to protect her and ensure she is safe, but her rashness puts him on edge. Can he trust her not to cross the line when her life is at risk? How can he control her safety? Or must he trust God for that? Other than that, he gets a proposal for a mission in Siria outside of the SNAP Agency. Is the timing convenient so he can leave Lyla be and stop questioning her at every turn? Plus there’s his past that torments him and adds to his lack of trust in a relationship. Can he overcome it?Things get complicated as murders happen, complex intel arrives, and a possible conspiracy that might involve someone in the US smuggling weapons to other countries is suspected. Can they pursue this investigation and remain unscathed?
I had a very hard time putting this book down! It is that good! It’s very fast paced and it kept me guessing at what would happen next and if they would escape the danger uninjured. There’s suspense at every page, danger for their lives lurk every corner. The plot has twists and turns that keep you captivated. There are always things happening in the book, new information that affects the case, situations that put them in peril.
What I love most about this series is the relationship between all the members of the SNAP Agency: Tom, Jack, Brynn, Kekoa, Elinor, Garcia and Lyla. They’re like closed knitted family and I love that they always have each other backs. Plus, their different personalities, their witty banter and jokes are so fun to watch. The romance between Lyla and Garcia is swooning. I loved García’s protectiveness of Lyla. And Lyla’s willingness to go all in into every situation is admiring, because she is always willing to sacrifice her safety to ensure the safety of others. Her desire for justice and the lengths she is willing to go to ensure evil people are stopped is amazing. And I love her sassiness and the way she teases García about the healthy food he eats versus Kekoa’s love for fat foods. I loved the chemistry between Lyla and García. Even if it takes long for them to admit their deep feelings for each other, it is always there, the romantic tension.
The way everything wraps up at the end was fantastic. Ms. Walters has an amazing creativity! I loved the ending! They way Lyla finally declares her love in the middle of danger was awesome! I’m just so sad this series is over, that I have to let all these characters go. I hope the author will write more spin-off stories with them in it. All in all, an amazing and satisfying conclusion to this series! Even if it can be read as a standalone, I recommend to read the complete series, you get to know the characters really well. There are some events in this book related to the prequel Initium, that I was happy to have read. A totally must read!
I received a complimentary copy from the Publisher via NetGalley but wasn’t required to post a positive review. This is my honest and unbiased opinion.
One aspect of this author’s book that I’ve liked is the way she uses humor when a serious situation calls for it. I adore her fully developed cast of complex characters and the way Natalie has a talent for placing the reader right in the thick of things.
Readers meet Lyla Fox, who acts impulsively at times and Nicolas Garcia, who is overly protective by nature. Lyla is a strong independent woman who knows how to defend herself. She believes Nicolas doesn’t respect her gut feelings. Lyla, meanwhile, is unaware of Nicolas’s background, he keeps that close to the vest. He isn’t revealing any of his secrets and other traits that define who he is.
The Snap Agency is a thrilling ride full of danger, along with an emotional love story, filled with suspense, a few twists, turns and surprises. I highly recommend meeting the other members of the Snap Agency team. You won’t want to miss out on this page turning, thriller.

What a thrilling end to the Snap Agency series! I have been waiting for Lyla and Garcia's story since the first book and it did not disappoint.
Lyla has made a lot of enemies during her time at SNAP and now, one of the wants her dead. Lyla needs Garcia's help to figure out who is after her but his overprotectiveness drives a wedge between them and even if they manage to survive the danger that surrounds them, their relationship may not.
Read it for:
Strong Female lead
Slow Burn romance with lots of tension
Heart pounding suspense
Political intrigue
Team camaraderie
Lighthearted moments (what is Kekoa eating today?)
Great friendships
National Security secrets
Opposites Attract/ Grumpy/Sunshine
Light faith thread
I have fallen in love with these characters and am so sad that the series is over! Blind Trust is the third and final book in the series and though it can be read as a standalone, you will understand and enjoy the series so much better if you read in order. I am especially glad that I read the prequel novella Intium because questions from that book were answered in this one.
Natalie Walters has quickly become one of my favorite romantic suspense authors - I can't wait to see what she writes next!!
I received a complimentary copy but a positive review was not required.
This book was really good, I had a hard time putting down. I found the relationship with Lyla and Kekoa was so fun it had me laughing so hard in points where it should have been serious. The author throw some twist in there I was not expecting, it will defiantly keep you guessing from the beginning to the end. I really like how the relationship between this group of friends felt more like a close nit family. I really enjoyed the relationship with Lyla and family while Layla was a risk taker and super independent she had the support of all her family. The author kept this book clean and it will have you on the edge of your seat. So worth the read.
Oh. My. Goodness.
The SNAP Agency is one of those series that just keeps getting better with every book! I've been dyyying to read Lyla and Garcia's story since the very beginning of the series and Blind Trust more than lived up to my (very high) expectations. Walters perfectly tied up all the loose ends in this novel and ended the series with a (literal) bang!
Lyla Fox is known around the SNAP Agency for being impulsive and reckless, but when she receives a threatening letter from a man she helped put behind bars, she jumps right in to discover why he's coming after her. Nicolas Garcia is an explosives and weapons specialist--and the person who has the least faith in Lyla's ability to stay out of trouble. However, he just might be the only one who can help her.
I looooved this novel. Lyla and Garcia have had such obvious chemistry right from the start, and I knew they'd have an epic story one day. I enjoyed getting to know both of them better while watching their relationship (and characters) grow. I also really enjoyed watching the SNAP team work together throughout the series and tight bond they share. As always, Walters has made sure to add a good dose of witty remarks, heart-stopping suspense, strong faith, and of course, some long-awaited romance.
If you enjoy a good faith-filled romantic suspense, you won't want to miss Blind Trust! This novel can work as a standalone, but I highly recommend starting with the prequel novella and making your way through the entire series to get the full backstory. You won't regret it!
*As a member of the launch team, I received a complimentary copy of Blind Trust through the author and NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own. My positive opinion is not required.
Oh my! If you're looking for an intense suspense book with some romance woven in between the action, then you will be pleased with this book. This book has plenty of the above and more. I enjoyed the banter between Nic and Lyla, it swayed between orneriness and defiance, which made it a fun story to read.
Highly recommend the book.
Disclaimer: I received an ARC copy of this book from the publisher with no exception in return. I wrote the above honest review voluntarily.
Lyla and Garcia’s story AT LAST! These two have enchanted us all since the first book. I adored the banter and sparks that always flew when those two were in the same vicinity of each other. The camaraderie of the whole team makes each book a keeper and each couple’s story one worth telling. The author nailed it here! The secrets of the past come out and explain quite a bit of all the mystery. Tons of danger included with fast paced action. A perfect ending to the series!
Neither of the times (before the first book and again before this one) that I read the prequel to Natalie Walters’ SNAP Agency series, Initium, did I even imagine all of the loose threads that needed to be tied up! Natalie Walters has done this so brilliantly including some that completely surprised me in this exciting wrap-up of the series.
Although each book in the series could stand alone as a complete story, the depth of each team member’s character is best understood by reading the entire series in order. If you are starting with Blind Trust, I highly recommend at least grabbing a copy of Initium first. It’s a quick read and lays the foundation for much of this book.
In a way I am sad to say goodbye to the team. But at the same time, I’m wondering — did I see a hint of what’s coming next in some of the minor characters here? Can’t wait to see if I’m right!
I received an advance copy in Netgalley as a member of the book’s launch team and purchased a hard copy for a loved one as well. This is my honest review. I have read all of Natalie Walters books available so far, and plan to continue as long as I’m able!
Blind Trust by Natalie Walters is a fast paced ride from beginning to end. I couldn’t read it fast enough, but I also didn’t want it to end! I loved Lyla, Garcia, and the rest of the SNAP agency. I will definitely have to go back and visit these characters again.
I was provided a copy of the book from the publisher. I was not required to post a positive review and all views and opinions are my own.
Blind Trust by Natalie Walters is the third book in her SNAP Agency series. Lyla Fox has been receiving threatening letters from a man she sent to prison. Now the threats have escalated. Can Nicolas Garcia and the rest of the SNAP agents protect Lyla and figure out what is going on before things turn deadly? Another edge-of-your-seat book from a great author who knows how to reel you in from the first page! Lyla and Nicolas were a great team. I really enjoyed their story. It was a great ending to the series.
I received this book from the author for my honest review.
What a great conclusion to this series! I've been looking forward to Lyla and Garcia's story and it lived up to my high expectations. It was fast-paced with a boatload of suspense and a mystery that kept me guessing. The intrigue kept ramping up and there were quite a few twists and reveals that I never saw coming.
I loved getting to know Lyla and Garcia better. Lyla's always been impulsive. Rushing into dangerous situations without thinking through the consequences of her actions. And while there were times I just wanted to shake some sense into her, make her slow down and think things through, I appreciated the fact that she stayed true to herself. I understood her a lot better after reading this book and I could see where she was coming from. Garcia's more serious and cautious, so while that often clashed with Lyla's impulsive nature, they made a great pair.
My favorite part of this series has been the dynamic between the SNAP agents. They have such a special bond and are more like family than coworkers. They take their work seriously but they know how to have fun too. Their banter had me laughing on numerous occasions. If you're a fan of romantic suspense, I highly recommend this series.
I received an advanced copy of this book via NetGalley and voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and comments are my honest opinion.
Blind Trust is book three in Natalie Walter’s The SNAP Agency romantic suspense series.
This was an absolutely amazing, incredible, wonderful story! The characters come to life. The action keeps the pages turning. And the way everything comes together at the end? Excellent! If you’re like me, you’ll laugh, you might even cry. This book has it all!
As I said, Blind Trust is the third book, plus there’s a prequel. I highly recommend reading the prequel and previous two books before reading this one. One because of spoilers. Two because you’ll get a feel for Nic and Lyla’s relationship leading into this story. And three … well, those books were amazing, too! (I mean, Kekoa. IYKYK)
I’m so sad to see this series end. I’ll miss these characters. Fortunately, I have the books on my keeper shelf, so I can revisit them any time. And I know I will!

Lyla and Garcia are on the hunt to figure out who is threatening Lyla and the treacherous situations they find themselves in will have you racing to find out what happens next!
This is the conclusion to the SNAP agency series but it can be read as a stand-a-lone as well. Natalie did an amazing job weaving this plot even though she’ll tell you it was one of her hardest stories to write!❤️
Natalie Walters, Writer Thank you for pushing through and writing this amazing story for all of us to enjoy!

What a great ending for an awesome series. I have to say Blind Trust is my favorite of the series. I loved getting more of the banter between Lyla and Nicolas as well as watching their relationship grow and change. But more importantly to finally get their story. I also loved spending time with the team. And Kekoka gives off a combination of little brother and big brother at the same time.
At first glance Nicolas and Lyla don’t look like they work, and Blind Trust from start to finish shows readers the journey that started at the end of book one. And what a journey it was, the added suspense not only kept this reader turning to the page to find out what happened but also wondering if Nicolas has any gray from the adventure. Lyla and Nicolas are my favorites from this series. And I didn’t think anyone could replace deputy Ryan Frost as my favorite of Natalie’s heroes. But I was Nicolas Garcia is now my favorite hero especially after reading Blind Trust and getting to know him better. Nicolas Garcia just scream hero while whispering I have a soft side I keep hidden.
And just like with Natalie’s previous books a secondary was a favorite as well. In a Blind Trust it was Nicolas’s neighbor Korean War Army vet Mr. Brandt. Who reminded me of Korean War vets I had the privilege to know including my grandpa.
I loved the pop culture and science jokes sprinkled through the book. And how much a family the SNAP team is. This is a great ending to an awesome series. And if you haven’t read it you need to. Makes sure you start with the novella Initium to get the whole story as well as background.
I can’t wait to see what Natalie does next even though I hate to see these characters go.

I think it’s safe to say that my favorite trope is a slow burn romance. Goodness gracious, the buildup between Lyla and Garcia is just perfection. And I can also safely say that Garcia with that ball cap…whoowee! I have a weakness for a man with a laidback style. Who knew that a hat would offer so much for a guy?
Anyway, enough about me gushing over fictional characters.
Walters outdid herself for this story. Instead of the usual outward plot coming to affect the characters, this one wound open from within. Lyla has a knack for getting herself into sticky situations with her gut-reactive self and I appreciated that the plot was born out of that. It helped the character development blossom beautifully.
One of the reasons I adore Walters’s books so much is how she seamlessly weaves beautiful life lessons into the romance and action. God’s word is meant to be applied to our every day lives and decisions, and Walters demonstrates this in Blind Trust. Sone of my favorite quotes were:
.
“If you let your emotions control you, you’re going to find yourself hiding in the wilderness like Elijah and missing out on the blessing of releasing control back to the Lord.”
and
“God didn’t call his people to step into the Red Sea until it was parted.”
.
Blind Trust is a clean, quick read. When I tell you I could not wait to get home from work to finish reading, it was not an exaggeration. I read for hours to find out what happened and to get to the point where Lyla and Garcia…well, you’ll have to read it to find out for yourself what the dynamic is between those two.
.
This is the third book in the SNAP Agency series. I was gifted a copy by the publisher. All thoughts are my own.
What secrets are being kept from Lyla Fox? As she and her team follow lead after lead a disturbing picture is emerging. Why does her superior call them off the case? Blind Trust is full of excitement, mystery, suspense, and romance; and there's even some laugh out loud humor in it. I loved the characters--Lyla, Nicholas, Kekoa, and Jack--and enjoyed their camaraderie as teammates and friends. The friendship between Lyla and Nicholas can turn into romance if they're willing to admit their changing feelings. The plot didn't just have twists, more like a loop de loop. Author Natalie Walters' writing style is easy to read without being simplistic. I highly recommend Blind Trust to readers of clean and of Christian romantic suspense.
I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley and am sharing my opinion of this very well written novel.
This is a novel for readers who like a plot much more about the relationships between people in an agency than their actual investigative work. It seemed their frequent lighthearted interactions were inappropriate for the serious kind of work they were supposed to be doing. And I did not find Lyla engaging. She was impulsive, often making poor choices, getting herself into trouble a more astute operative would have avoided. Too many times she would react by saying she just wasn't thinking.
I was often dismayed at the lack of due diligence from the SNAP agents too. The ultimate example was setting up Lyla to draw out the villain and then letting her go into a building all by herself with only someone from SNAP outside the building waiting for her. Of course, it goes bad and suspense ensues. I rather like suspense because of the intelligence of the villain, not a result of incompetent action on the part of the protagonists.
Waters' writing style is good even if the plot is more about relationships than action and has a somewhat weak heroine. This is a romantic suspense for readers who like immersion in the romance aspect and don't mind incompetent agents and practices.
I received a complimentary egalley of this book from the publisher. My comments are an independent and honest review.
Whoa! Natalie Walters has written an amazing thriller and you never see the ending coming! When SNAP Agent Lyla Fox receives a threatening letter from a man she helped put in prison, Agent Nicolas Garcia agrees to help her solve the mystery behind the letter. But is helping Lyla going to be worth the risk to his safety and his heart? Lyla is stubborn and prideful and Nicolas doesn't want to risk his heart, again, just to have it shattered, again.
I received an early copy from the publisher. My review is my opinion alone and is done by my own choice.
Blind Trust is the long-awaited story of Layla and Garcia. Tension between them have peaked readers since the beginning of the SNAP Agency.
I loved Garcia. Is strong work ethic and concern for others touched my heart. He was definitely hero material and I loved discovering the whys behind his actions.
Layla is no damsel in distress and it was great to see a strong heroine. Readers will also discover the whys behind her actions.
There were plot twists, slow-burn romance, and shenanigans from characters in books 1 and 2.
Don't miss this conclusion!
