Robbie Couch is three for three in my book!

Clark, the m.c., is so over September 19th because no matter what he does, he just keeps waking up to a view of the same nightstand and the start of the same date. He does have the opportunity to change events during the day which provides much needed variation to this format (which, when not done right, can go awry, as most readers have experienced at least once in their lives). While Clark has some fun with this day on repeat at first, it's not until the introduction of Beau that he finds there may be something more serious and lasting afoot.

I have really enjoyed Couch's books so far, and this is no exception. Though I'd have loved to spend a bit more time with some of the side characters, I really enjoyed Clark's growth and journey, and the changes Clark makes to himself and his relationships over time are memorable and meaningful.

Couch remains on my you-write-I-read list, and this is more evidence of why. I look forward to adding this newest installment to my list of student recs.

Thanks Netgalley and Simon and Schuster for this eARC, these opinions are my own. I very much enjoyed this book and once I got got going on it I couldn’t stop! Clark has been stuck reliving the same day over and over. He doesn’t know why this happened or how. He’s been through the emotions but not he just feels lonely. His therapist gives him an assignment, that includes making a new friend. When Beau shows up in his class one day, something that’s never happened before, he decides to give the friend thing a chance. Beau and Clark go on an adventure but at the end of the day the day restarts. Can Clark find Beau again? Can they figure out how to get to tomorrow? As always Robbie Couch creates wonderfully lovable and relatable characters! The depictions of Clark’s loneliness were something I understand completely! I love the question the book makes you ponder as well, what would you do if you were stuck in a loop and kept reliving the same day over again? I also loved the why and how of the book! It’s so organically done to me. This is an absolute read! Robbie Couch fans will love it and if you’re a fan of rom coms with a twist you’ll love it as well! Can’t wait to read it again!
