I liked it because who does not like a romance with bikers. It was enjoyed. A bit high and low but very good.

"The Biker's Forbidden Affair" by Sam Crescent and Stacey Espino is an erotic romance novel that explores a forbidden relationship within the world of bikers. While the book delivers on its promise of steamy encounters, the overall storyline and character development lack depth. The plot can be formulaic, and the character dynamics feel one-dimensional. However, readers seeking a quick and indulgent read with explicit scenes may find satisfaction in "The Biker's Forbidden Affair."

So predictable, kinda odd, and very slow. As a fan of romance, I thought I would enjoy it but it was very much not my cup.

I found this to be a very good book. I liked both characters and especially Bell for she had a lot of strength and stood up for herself and for Tank until she was ready for whatever the next step would be. She made him walk instead of getting on the back of his bike she did not just jump into bed with him right away. She was a strong character and she also worked at being nothing like her mother who does show up in this story to only cause problems. A good story with good characters and very much worth the read.

Petite histoire agréable à lire
j'ai aimé cette lecture
les personnes sont bien décrit, semble plutot réels et attachants mais de là à y croire il reste de la marge
Notamment la fin qui m'a laissé dubitative

Nice little story to read
I liked this reading
the people are well described, seem rather real and endearing but from there to believe it there remains margin
Especially the ending which left me skeptical

I can honestly say this book meets high expectations if the reader is looking to be entrapped in a biker romance short story. It has the rough love that many will fawn over. Great read!

I really liked this story from Sam Crescent and Stacey Espino. I had previously read a couple of Sam Crescent's shift MC books and liked them so thought I'd try a contemporary MC romance from them. The MC romances I typically read are a little less involved in the illegal side of MCs, but here the authors don't shy away from the rougher side here. I have mixed feelings about that, but I still loved the characters and that made the story great.
I loved that Tank struggled between his loyalty to the MC and his belief and love for Bell and had to make some hard decisions. I liked Bell and how she had self-respect and independence, but wasn't shy about wanting someone in her life to love and support her.
My only wish is that there had been a bit more development at big climactic scene. I felt that there was a sudden jump where I'd thought maybe missed a couple of pages.
Overall great read, and I've already gone back and picked up book 1 in the series, and going to grab book 2 tonight!

Thanks to Netgalley and the punblisher for the digital copy of this book.

The Biker's Forbidden Affair is part of a series, and I hadn't read the previous instalments. It made no difference to me being able to pick this one up easily.

What you get is a rough, tough 40's biker Liam "Tank" Boyle who unexpectedly meets early 20's struggling waitress Bell Castle, and falls head over heals despite his best intentions to avoid any romantic entanglements. Bell isn't in the MC life, though I have to say knows a fair bit about it, so she doesn't seem that much removed. Tank knows his MC brothers won't support his feelings for Bell, he steps out of the compound and starts sneaking around with Bell. The challenge in their relationship revolves around trust.

The Biker's Forbidden Affair had a great premise, and both main characters showed promise as well. I just felt in all, things were underdone, both in terms of their background, their relationship, and their relationships with the other significant people in the book (we never really "meet" Bell's mother, and the vibes between Tank and his MC brothers were a bit off to me - there wasn't the strong sense of belonging you get with some MC books, and maybe that was the intent, but I never really got the sense Tank was looking for a life outside the MC though). I also get the appeal of the big bad guy and the virgin trope but I'm beginning to steer away from this (personal preference).

I really finished this story wanting to know more about what made Tank tick, and why now? I wanted his character to have more maturity than that was portrayed in the book as well, as he sounded like a grump-ass juvenile.

Rounded to 3 stars

The Biker's Forbidden Affair:

I received a free copy from NetGalley to review with my honest opinion.

This was a quick read with spice. The storyline was ok, and I love a good MC romance. I had a few issues with this one, mainly the way it read. With a dual point of view book, it's pretty important to me to know who the current narrative is. This jumped back and forth never indicating the switch with a name. It was a very fast paced book, so I understand that certain things had to be rushed through. I felt like the background information on the characters was skipped over and never fully explained. The road names seemed a bit just thrown together. (Ex. Lord, Brick, Attitude). Honestly parts read like we were just supposed to know what had happened. For the main female lead to know so much about a MC when she is a civilian is a bit weird. Especially from the very beginning. The timeline needs a bit of a clearing up as well. I don't know how long it's been between encounters. The use of "Club whore" is pretty off putting with the number of times it's used. Some of the cussing and use of adult words read like a kid trying to look cool when his mom wasn't around. Just over used and random. He doesn't have an actual brotherhood bond with the MC and all their interactions are so curt and emotionless. Certain phrases were repeatedly used multiple times on a single page. The repetitive use of "Boyfriend and girlfriend" instead of just saying in a relationship gives it an immature feel to the read. The ending was super rushed with basically all the drama, and I guess resolution wrapped up into a couple pages.

It was a good story with a likable character. I liked the fact that the MFC didn't judge the MMC because of his lifestyle or his connection to an MC. The age-gap was ok, not my favorite trope.

This was extremely fast paced. I did enjoy the plot. I feel like if certain areas were expanded more this would be amazing. I didn’t like feeling that I missed out on most of Tank and Bell’s relationship.

Bell’s sass and attitude was a delight. I love a sarcastic and witty female lead. I also enjoyed the age gap because yum. I’ll take a older, giant tattooed biker any day of the week.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Evernight Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I liked this book, it had some humor. Bell is a realist and very open minded. She and Tank seem to have great chemistry. Tank is part of a MC. The MC caused them problems by not trusting Bell, and thinking she was like her mom. I found Bell interesting, and wasn't impressed with the MC. I would read more by these authors. 3.5 stars

3.5 stars—THE BIKER’S FORBIDDEN AFFAIR is the third instalment in the contemporary, adult STRAIGHT TO HELL erotic, MC romance series co-authored by Sam Crescent and Stacey Espino. This is Straight to H*ll MC secretary, forty-two year old Liam ‘Tank’ Boyle, and twenty-three year old waitress Bell Castle’s storyline. THE BIKER’S FORBIDDEN AFFAIR can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Tank and Bell) THE BIKER’S FORBIDDEN AFFAIR follows the age-gap romance between Straight to Hell MC secretary, forty-two year old Liam ‘Tank’ Boyle, and twenty-three year old waitress Bell Castle. Bell Castle is struggling to make ends meet but found herself alone, walking the back roads when her friend forgot to pick her up, never expecting to meet a member of the local MC. Tank Boyle worries about the possibility of an innocent civilian, walking alone, getting attacked by someone bad especially with the Skull Nation MC slowly reclaiming what they lost. Falling for Bell was never in the plan but Tank knew Bell was the only woman for him, a woman who was about to pit Tank against the brothers he loves. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Bell and Tank, and the potential fall-out as issues of trust and betrayal push Bell out of Tank’s life and into the belly of the beast.

The Straight to H*ll MC know another potential war with the Skull Nation MC is on the horizon, and it is only a matter of time before all h*ll breaks loose but no one ever expected a possible mole in the family, and the MC takes aim at our story line heroine. Doubt begins to seep into Tank’s heart and mind, and with it, threats of a different nature are about to take the woman with whom Tank is falling in love.

The relationship between Tank and Bell is one of immediate attraction but Tank doesn’t do relationships; Bell is almost twenty years his junior full of sass and ‘attitude’; and the Club suspects everyone and anyone new to the Straight To H*ll MC. Tank has been warned to keep his distance but the heart wants the forbidden affair. Bell Castle is quickly falling for our story line hero, a man who is about to destroy her heart and soul. The $ex scenes are intimate and intense.

The secondary and supporting characters include Club president Lord and Ally; Brick and Callie; Copper, Tarmac, Locke, Reaper; several members of the Skull Nation MC, as well as Bell’s mother Karen Castle.

THE BIKER’S FORBIDDEN AFFAIR is a story of betrayal and vengeance, power and control, mistrust and misunderstanding, forgiveness and acceptance. The fast paced premise is inviting and intriguing; the characters are energetic and charismatic; the romance is erotic and steamy.

I really enjoyed this story and it wasn't what I was expecting. Tank and Bell's story was almost sweet which is different for this author and definitely for an MC romance. I liked the way they "saw" each other differently to everyone around them. It was a quick, easy read and I definitely recommend.

The Bikers Forbidden Affair starts with casual interaction between the two main characters. Tank notices Bell walking home from work and can’t fathom a woman walking alone at night. He decides to accompany her to her apartment, ensuring she arrives safely. They both find themselves enjoying the way they can interact with each other. Tank and Bell quickly become friends but are left with the harsh realization that they may never become more than that. When problems arise with a rival MC, the outcome of Tank and Bell’s relationship is truly put to test.

“She’d become his best friend…” I mean how cute is that? Tank, the badass biker, had mentioned numerous times that Bell was his best friend and I melted. The spice was great and I enjoyed every minute of this book!

I really liked Tank and Bell’s story. I loved that tank was a sweetheart deep down and he really cared to Bell. She had a hard past like him, but I really enjoyed her strong character. She is one of the strongest FMCs I’ve read and I loved it!
