This is a great resource for anyone interested in Reiki healing. I don't know much but a friend of mine is certified, I at least level 1 and maybe level 2 as well. Whether you're just starting out or a seasoned Reiki Master, this book seems to offer a wealth of practical information with clear, easy-to-follow illustrations of hand positions and treatment sequences. It's like having a wise Reiki mentor by your side, guiding you through diverse healing processes and addressing a wide range of health issues. I'm considering buying it for my friend for her birthday.

Reiki Healing

The Five Principles of Reiki are so inspiring that one should choose to incorporate them in their daily life. The author states that Reiki is not only a healing modality but also an integral part of personal development and spiritual growth, and I feel this is so true. Each of the principles begins with "Just for today". They are powerful and would enhance our life greatly, if we practice them daily. I've listed them below:
1. Just for today, I will let go of anger.
2. Just for today, I will let go of worry.
3. Just for today, I will count my blessings.
4. Just for today, I will do my work honestly.
5. Just for today, I will be kind to every living creature.

To fully understand Reiki, the author provides and discusses the three pillars of Reiki System, they are: Gassho meditation, Reiji-ho, and Chiryo.

It's interesting to see the hand positions for treating yourself and others, along with the treatment techniques. At a more advanced level, the author discusses the symbols to help practitioners evoke and connect to the Reiki energy.

This is a very good book discussing some of the most common physical issues and concerns for which Reiki has been helpful in speeding up the healing and recovery process, there are illustrations of the human anatomy and the female reproductive system, from acne, ankle pain, and arthritis to back pain, broken bones, cancer, head aches, high blood pressure, and many many more ailments.

I definitely feel that this is a excellent resource book for anyone desiring to acquire a broader knowledge base on Reiki healing.

I think this is a solid reference book for reiki and found the information to be interesting. It did not jump out at me but the visuals were easy to follow and explained things well.

A truly useful, well-thought out handbook for both reiki practitioners experienced and new. In fact, in many ways, I consider it an ideal textbook for a reiki class—the best I’ve ever seen!

The illustrations are useful, and the directions and suggestions and examples are clear. I’m both a reiki master teacher and a retired university lecturer, and I’d use this text in a class in a minute. Yet a beginner with nothing more than curiosity would be able to follow this book as well.

Go ahead and buy it!

Great introductory work on the practice of Reiki! Great for the metaphysical section, will definitely be getting a copy for our growing collection.

As I am a beginner to Reiki I was pleased that the author starts out with the basics. If you are already familiar you probably could just skim the first few pages or use them as a review. I always thought of Reiki in terms of whole body healing as opposed to very specific ailments. I was very surprised and pleased to see the section on specific issues both physical and emotional. If you are interested in delving into the practice of Reiki I would definitely recommend adding this to your library.

I love Reiki and I'm a visual learner so this was a win-win in my eyes! I loved how easy this book is with learning the art of Reiki. Hae did a great job at explaining and I found that this book helped to increase my knowledge into reiki a lot. Highly recommend!

DNF- right out the gate the author left out a lot about the origins of reiki… so if you follow western pick and choose spirituality… then this book is probably for you. This is ‘their’ reiki. Because if you fail to learn and teach the foundation of a practice you fail the practice.

Reiki Illustrated is a visual reference guide to the hand placements and treatment sequences in Reiki. It is a reference book for those with some experience but also serves as an introduction for complete beginners. The pictures really help to explain the physical aspects and lead to a greater understanding. I would have liked a brief note on each picture to explain the main ways it can be used, as you had to get this information elsewhere in the book. For a beginner it was a bit piecemeal. With a few tweaks it would be a brilliant beginner book. Overall probably better for those with experience.

Reiki friends! Look what’s coming out in November! I got to read and review in advance thanks to NetGalley. As someone that has been Reiki Level 1 attuned, I was looking forward to having this book as a resource and it was! It was easy to understand, reviewed the history of the practices, chakras, and more. The pictures was what I was most looking forward to and they delivered. Beautiful illustrations and I appreciate that they featured sketches of all people!

A nice surprise was an alphabetical section of Reiki used for physical and mental issues. I would buy this book and suggest it to all of the folks in my healing circles. Thank you!

Note: I received an free copy of this book and choose to review it.

My biggest issue is that I wasn't able to see the whole page, and reducing magnification only affected the text. I already have a few books like this, which focus on hand placement, but also stressed that it is INTENTION which is the biggest factor. It doesn't explain WHY those specific placements to promote relief/healing. If it were geared to Level Two and indicated which of the symbols given there would be best employed, it would be much better. Other books have a page with each hand position numbered, and each issues being treated, uses those numbers. While it does mean flipping back and forth, it can provide more room for information, or even exercises to test the intuition on what would work for issues not already covered.

“Reiki Illustrated” by Hae Lee.
Hae Lee is a Reiki Master/Practitioner who follows and trained in the Usui Shiki Ryoho/Holy Fire® III system of healing and teachings of William Lee Rand, the founder of the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT).

Lee’s book is a good supplement and training manual for those already attuned to any of the three Reiki levels. Lee describes her own method of preparing for reiki use on self and with others.

If you are new to Reiki than this is a good reiki review book on one way to use reiki on self and others. As you gain experience you will be guided in your own unique way of preparation and hand placements.

Lee shows illustrations of the reiki symbols and hand placements as a guide for various health issues.

This book is one more tool on the Reiki journey. I received a copy of this book from Netgalley for a review.
