This was such a cute and fun read. I loved Sabrina. I admired her determination to be there for her friend’s wedding, regardless of her situation and the obstacles that she has to overcome, both personally with her business and on the road with the handsome stranger she offered to drive to New York.

Ryan was wonderful too. I enjoyed his reserved demeanor and the way he treated Sabrina with respect and admiration. His attraction to Sabrina was palpable and well as his reluctance to start anything with her. Thankfully, Sabrina’s one of a kind personality draws him in from the very beginning and sparks start flying.

Even though I enjoyed Ryan and Sabrina’s sizzling chemistry, my favorite moments were their conversations. These were a mix of flirty banter and easy-going bickering with plenty of candid interactions thrown in there. And although the story is on the short side at 150+ pages, through all these moments I was allowed to get to know Ryan and Sabrina which convinced me that they really were a great m match.

As expected, there were plenty of unfortunate events that led to great moments between these two while they traveled to NY together. I enjoyed the humor as well as the more serious moments that appeared throughout the story. It made for a well-balanced story that left me wanting more.

This is the first book I read by this author, but I am sure I’ll be reading more of her work.

This book had a very quick path to love for both the hero and heroine, but I enjoyed it all the same. Fun story that put me in mood for the holidays. The hero and heroine travel to New York together and that’s when the fun begins. There’s a lots of obstacles for them to overcome. Lots of good yummy conflict and backstory that make this book a solid read. This was my first book by this author and definitely won’t be my last. Huge thanks to Netgalley and Entangled publishing for allowing me to read and review this book.

Ryan and Sabrina both need to get to New York. With flights cancelled they end up on a road trip together. Will the time and lack of space lead them to be more than road trip buddies?
A great read, looking forward to more from this author.

No Rescue Required by Maggie Kelley is a fun romantic comedy that will have you giggling and flipping pages. It is filled with a series of comedic errors and Murphy’s Law is in full swing. This is a delightful escape.

PERFECT

The was initially like a slow burn to me but still the hero had an instant love towards the heroine.

RYAN - The Male Character caught my interest from the beginning who's also a sports agent.

SABRINA - The Female Character is such a sweetheart who even offers a stranger ride in her Van (Rosie)

Loved every single conversation between the hero and the heroine. I'm not gonna forget the haunted night they shared in the motel.

Tropes:-

What an incredible surprise of a great book! This is the first book I’ve read from this author, and definitely won’t be the last. Ryan and Sabrina are the most unlikely couple who meet on a cold December night in a closed Kentucky floral shop. The antics and adventures this couple encounter on their way to New York in what turns out to be a broken down van were hysterical. This swoon-worthy couple hit all the marks with me and kept me turning the pages to see what was going to happen next. Definitely some tears, especially at the end, but damn this was a great book. Very well written, full of humor, sass, steamy lovin, and I think the haunted hotel was my favorite scene. Perfect ending made this book hit all the feel good places in my heart. Definitely needs to go on everyone’s TBR shelf!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

Sweet and sexy with an Insta-love feel. 3.5 stars!

This story was a fun read! With two characters that are forced to rideshare and work through so many crazy issues, it is no wonder that this story is a delightful read.

This is the first book I have read by this author and while it shows that this book is a part of a series, and other friends show up throughout the book, it is easily a stand-alone read.

I love Ryan. He is complex with many hidden things he is working through and falls for the sweet, yet overly chatty Sabrina, who has no qualms about asking for personal information right away. The two are a good balance as they figure out life on the road.

With many issues to overcome on the road trip, we get to see them at their best and their worst. Kelley adds plenty of humorous situations, steamy romance, and fun banter to connect the duo. The insta-love was alive a well, but enjoyable and sweet too!

I just wish it was longer.

Road trip from Kentucky to NYC!

Sports agent Ryan Callahan trip to hopefully sign a new prospect is a disaster since the father wants nothing to do with a guy in a fancy suit but his trip back to New York City has been canceled by the airline.

Things are going wrong for florist Sabrina Hayes when her flight to NYC is canceled and she has the bride’s living bouquet in Beaumont, Kentucky. Maybe they can drive together in her floral van because it’s the only option to get there on schedule like a romantic movie?

If you want to read a romance that makes you laugh at things that happen during a road trip with opposites attract especially driving from Kentucky to NYC but that it what makes them so much fun to read.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
SPICE: 🔥🔥.5

Insta-connection + close proximity + holiday romance = YES PLEASE!

Ryan Callahan has just been thrown out on the curb by a potential client's dad. The sports agent has been trying to court an up-and-coming athlete in rural Kentucky, but the dad thought he was too much of a fast-talking country slicker for his liking. Now Ryan is stuck in a middle of a winter storm..without a car, without a flight to New York, and without a client.

Florist Sabrina Hayes needed to be on the road to her best friend's wedding in New York. Unfortunately, her flight, too, has been canceled, and Sabrina is financially on the struggle bus to afford a road trip on her own. When fate drops handsome Ryan on her shop's front door, these two embark on a fun, whirlwind New York-bound adventure.

I love a great low-angst road trip that leads to fun steamy romance. Ryan and Sabrina were fantastic; they certainly bring out the best in each other. I love that they share a connection over their love for sports, and they build on that from there.

I also adore that they eventually reach their destination, thanks to the kindness and generosity of others. To me, that's a great part of holiday reads that I don't get as much as I would like, and I am thankful that we get that as a nice ongoing theme in the background of Ryan and Sabrina's journey.

This is the fourth installment of the series, but it can be read as a standalone. I am new to this world, and while characters from previous books were included in this read, I did not feel lost at all.

This was a cute forced proximity book! I really liked how well suited they were to each other I loved that she knew as much about sports as he did. I also loved how patient he was with her.

I'm not a fan of road trips so those parts of the book were pretty boring for me, but the one bed scenarios were worth it.

I received an advanced copy of this book through NetGalley. This is my honest review.

I love a good road trip romance, and this is a great one. Sabrina and Ryan have almost nothing in common except that they both need to get to New York. Because their flight is canceled, they drive in Sabrina's floral van. Along the way, they find more ways that they are total opposites. Except that they have a couple of things in common -- like an overwhelming attraction to each other and a fear of loving someone else. They start to find more things they have in common while the trip gets crazier and funnier, but they have to go their separate ways when they get to New York. Who will be the first one to admit that they have fallen in love?

Sports agent Ryan Callahan is stranded in a small Kentucky town, with his flight to New York cancelled and no cab in sight. Walking down the main road, he spots a florist open. He goes in faking a flower emergency. And just his luck, the flower shop owner, Sabrina is also on her way to New York. Since her flight is also cancelled, she plans to drive to NewYork and is willing to let him travel with her.
This is such a cute read. I really enjoyed their joinery and all the mishaps that happen. There is humor and some amazing chemistry to make it an entertaining read. Overall this is a charming romantic comedy that I wouldn’t mind reading again.

No Rescue Require by Maggie Kelley is the fourth book in a series but can be read as a standalone. As with all series you may feel like you understand the characters better if you have read the series.

Sabrina had parents who didn't make time for her so she was not looking for a workaholic. Her best memories are spending time in Kentucky with her grandmother at her florist shop. This is where Ryan 'meets' her when he is trapped trying to get back to New York.

They end up in a florist van making their way to New York. They get to know each other and experience several misadventures.

sexual content - they have sex after knowing each other about 24 hours
language - one use of the fword, and several uses of D@mn and Sh*t.
