This was a fast paced, read.
Two sisters + two brothers + two love triangles = a whole lot of messy emotions.
Nick and Samatha felt fated to be together since high school. But when Nick disappears, Sam is left raising their infant daughter alone, with the help of family. Fast forward seven years, Sam has found love again with Nick's brother, but lo and behold, Nick has been rescued. Navigating their way through all their feelings is going to take a lot of work.
Enjoyable book with great characters and a few small twists to keep things interesting.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
What do you do when a love from the past collides with your current love? That’s exactly what happened in this story! This was a sweet story depicting an almost impossible situation. I enjoyed the story and the ending!
Love is difficult and uncertain but never more so than when you are in love with two men, brothers. At 16 Samantha met Nick and fell in love at first sight. Fast forward 15 years and Samantha is married to Luca, Nick's brother. Samantha, Nick, Luca and other intriguing characters navigate love and forgiveness, and trying to determine if we only have "one true love". The Wedding at Moonglow Bay is frustrating, thought provoking, tender and a book, in the end, that I didn't want to end.
Took me a little while to get fully engaged but packs quite a punch.
I loved this book. Such an inventive storyline and wonderful characters.
I don't want to reveal anything but I highly recommend it.
Once again, we are back in beautiful Moonglow Bay, Texas, such a charming place.
With the breeze coming off of the water and all the friendly folks you're going to want to stay awhile.
I couldn't even imagine the story line of this book. All the things that would be running through your head if it were to happen to you. You would be second guessing yourself and it would be quite a mess.
A childhood filled with uncertainty comes to an end when insecure Samantha is adopted into a wonderful and loving family and her foster sister Piper becomes her best friend. They are closer than sisters.
Starting at a new high school she and Piper meet Nick Ginelli, Piper is interested but he only has eyes for Samantha. After a whirlwind relationship they marry and have a baby, Destiny.
This is a burning hot love, an immature love where they should have waited but were too into each other to wait. After a fight Nick goes out to cool off and spend time by himself.
In the seven years that he's been gone all they've found is his shipwrecked boat. He and his family were very close he would never just leave them.
In the seven years that Nick has been gone, Samantha and Nick's brother Luca have fallen in love.
It should be the happiest day of her life, after waiting seven years for Nick to be declared dead she is free to marry again and it's her wedding day, again.
She is happy but bittersweet memories of Nick keep playing in her memory.
On the wedding night after things start settling down, a huge uproar occurs!
Before the marriage has a chance to be consummated in walks Nick.
There are many questions, many tears, much happiness. His family is thrilled.
He had been shipwrecked on an island for seven years and just got rescued.
Now where does this leave Samantha?
Is she still legally married to Nick, is she actually married to Luca?
The book will really grip you as Samantha works through who she should be with, it causes her many tears. She has a daughter with Nick, but he disappeared before she even got to know her father. I could not put this down, I had to see how it would work out and who if either of them she would choose. To me this sounds like a movie plot, and I loved this book.
I can't wait to see what the author comes up with next.

This is my first book by the author. This is not your typical love triangle. Nick and Samantha or Sammie as she is called fell for each other hard and fast in high school. The kind of love his family called the lightning strike. The story begins about how they met and fast forward to years later we find out Nick took a boat out to the ocean and got lost at sea. During this time Samantha mourned her husband but at the same time had to be strong for their daughter Destiny. We find out it has been seven years later and Samantha is ready to move on pertaining to love it so happens to be with Nick's brother Luca. So begins this tale of what happens when the husband she thought die did not. Samantha along with the family have to now navigate having Nick back home and what that entails for Samantha who seems to now have two husbands. A very poignant somewhat sad tale of what is truly love attraction and is there such a thing as one true love. Sweet haunting book of redemption and kinship.
This book left me feeling conflicted, it was an okay read but not the authors best work. Samantha is technically a widow her husband was lost at sea. She's having difficulty letting go of the past and is in the process of marrying his brother when her presumed dead husband returns after missing for 7 years. This book didn't resonate with me. 275 stars.

This was an interesting story of two love stories -one from Samantha's past (Nick) and her current (Luca). As sweet as first love and current love sound, it's a bit rocky when that first love, presumed dead for 7 years, reappears the night of your wedding to your current love, who happens to be his brother. This is a story of love, family and how Samantha must untangle it all to find herself.
Samantha is getting married, for the 2nd time. Her first husband went sailing and didn’t come back. Now 7 years later just as she is marrying Luca, her first husband Nick, Lucas brother, is rescued. Samantha is torn. This is a second chance at love romance. I enjoyed the book, liked the characters, and couldn’t help rooting for Samantha. I had my favorite I was hoping she would choose. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.
I liked the plot idea but not the authors style of writing. I felt there was too much repetition stating the same thoughts over and over. Not for me but maybe some of our older patrons.
Really good book keeps your interest all the way through. a second chance at love story. Love the characters and the setting.
Today was the day she would say "I do," the day she would take the hand of the man she loves and walk towards their happily ever after. But there is another man that does not want that to happen, a man she promised to love forever years before, and he wants his wife back. Now Samantha finds herself with an impossible choice to make stay with the man that has been by her side through the most tragic time in her life or walk back into the arms of the man she thought she lost. Both hold a special place in her heart, but which one is her forever?
The Wedding at Moonglow Bay is a beautifully penned story of healing, second chances, and finding that once in a lifetime kind of love. As I read this one I felt for the heroine, losing the person you love is filled with unimaginable pain, but to learn that they didn't die and are back to claim your heart is a another thing. Then you throw in the fact that you've fallen for his brother while he was absent and he wants to claim your heart too... now that is the definition of difficult. Love can be messy at times but this was a whole other level. Then there is all the families beliefs to be taken in to consideration...no matter what she decides someone is going to be hurt.
This was quite the love story, not at all what I thought it would be, but enjoyable nonetheless. The story line was unique and engaging, the characters well drawn and likable, and the romance heavy on the feels! Highly recommend!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.
I had no clue this part of a series! Now I'm going to have to buy the three books previous to this one in the Moonglow Cove series because I need them after being nose deep inside this one all day.
These can be read as a standalone!
The Wedding at Moonglow Bay by Lori Wilde was an amazingly entertaining book with strong, wonderful characters.
Being in Moonglow Cove, Texas with Samantha and side characters was beyond interesting. And I can't wait to visit the previous books.
I really love the storyline, shocking revelations, characters and writing. Everything was done so nicely.
The author drew me in immediately and I had a hard time putting it down.
Overall, a sweet, interesting and engrossing read.

This was a really good book. The ending was better than I thought it would be. I loved the characters. I am grateful that netgalley let me read this in exchange for an honest review
Samantha wants everything she never had growing up in the foster system - a stable, loving family, and people she can trust and rely on. When she meets Nick Ginelli, it's love at first sight. She's his Lightning Strike. but Nick dies, and Samantha, now mother to a little girl, falls hard to Luke, Nick's brother....until Nick shows up on her wedding day.
This focused on very strange things - most of the characters in this book are highly superstititious so that was a running theme (I can handle a lot of rituals, but this was too much even by my standards) and the tone is just very sad and heavy. I wasn't too fond of this, even though I thought the romance between Samantha and Luke was sizzling hot. I'll be concentrating on other Lori Wildes.
