I have loved most of what Marissa Meyer has written. The Cinder series was one of my favorites. I even have a signed copy of Cress. But this duology was not my favorite. I was happy that she returned to telling fairy tale retellings but this story seemed a little drawn out. I loved the narrator. The plot seems perfect but it was just a little too long. I would still recommend it for someone who wants a fun fairy tale story.
I did not realize this was a second in the series. I would like to come back to this book after I read book one!
My favorite author and narrator combination! Thank you so much for letting me review this audiobook!
I have never wanted an audiobook more.
The story was wonderful. It was full of adventure and mysteries and love. The narrator did all the voices and tones and conveyed all of the emotion. The did the story justice.
This was perfection and I am so glad I got to listen to it.
I want everyone to listen to this. These are the audiobooks I always recommended when I worked at the library.
A terrifying and terrific follow up to the first book that had me on the edge of my seat with a cliffhanger so devastating, I didn't know if I could hold on. Cursed was everything I wanted it to be and so much more. I was so hooked listening to Rebecca Soler tell this story and Marissa Meyer created a brilliant but terrifying world with high stakes magic and curses in desperate need to be broken.
A wonderful follow up to Gilded, and that COVER! Gorgeous! I didn't know where this one was going to go and it had that Marissa Meyer charm we all know and love. I couldn't stop reading this one.
